When you say that they are ‘the best’ - which others have you tried? The Senna headset is often held up as ‘the best’. What are the differences in your opinion?
Hi Malcom, I have worked in the theatre, conferences, events and have been a pilot. For the last forty years I have had to wear headphones of one type or another. I have used, Bose Sennheiser, Bayer, Teck Pro, Motorroller, and a range of non branded units. Out of choice I would buy Bose headsets, second choice, Sennheiser. But the problem with most headphones is, either they are bulky, wired, or if wireless you have to have a master station and link through that unit. All a bit of a pain on a boat. I feel these are a really good choice for the yachtsman. Of course, they will not suit everyone and everyone has their own taste.
Just a quick question, how well do they hug your head? I'm always bending down and leaning over to pick up lines and fenders so the possibility of them going for a quick swim also is there any lanyard attachment system available to prevent this from happening?
It’s a great point, Simon it’s just testing shaking his head down. So if it’s normal movement or in normal operation stays on your head but if you shake hard ( and I mean really hard) or make a movement as you are throwing a rope I would be worried. Looking in detail, there is a possibility of putting some sort of safe clip attached to your clothes, which we will probably do. I would hate to see it going for a swim.
Great performance....but ultra crazy price, only for the wealthy....! Did you pay for these or were they 'free'? It is unclear. Also, how waterproof are they?
The price goes according with the price I would say, we have to pay a bit more for quality normally. They are not waterproof obviously, we will have a little string attached to the shirt just in case they decide to go for a swim. Just like hats have sometimes. But they sit very well on your had to be honest.
Clever useful tech.
Very clever

Yep. Same question.
