    but this isn't supposed to work if you cache your cloth simulation right? Only with uncached ones?

    Cool! But unfortunately it`s not working with alembics. Any ideas how to retime alembics?

      Alembics are different because the speed of the simulation is already "Baked" in. You can changed the Speed parameter in the Alembic file, but if you slow it down it will be choppy because it didn't calculate extra frames in the sim. Basically, they're limited in their ability to re-time sadly :( You can render out and re-time in AE with a frame blender, but really not a great way to do it :(

    Is there a way to cache a time mapped simulation? It sucks to work uncached because of a time scale remap.

      I believe you can just do the time remap and then bake it. Doesn't that work?

      I might be wrong, but I feel like it doesn't work if they're cached. Check though, but I don't think so...
