Hey SOM, Can you PLEASEEEE show us how to naturally roll an oval shape on a surface line? I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUTTTT, I have a feeling I need to keyframe the ancho point and I am dreading it
At 7:14 the process calls for dragging the vertex map into the cloth tag-balloon-map which is not available on my version 2023.1.3. I see in cloth tag-mix animation there is map for both with pins and with force. Could this be a work around?
EJ, I notice that when you drop something under the REMESH thingy, that you are instantly able to see what Remesh is doing.... see the changes in topology that it's made. For some reason, I am not getting that: When I drop something under REMESH, I just see a smooth blank surface overall, with no polys visible. I can't see the result of Remesh until I click Make Editable or State To Object. What's up with that?
Amazing tutorial and explanations, Thanks!
Wow thankyou so much! Yet again youve opened up so many more options for creativity!
EJ, you rule! You explain things so perfectly and make me excited to try them out.
Great tutorial, but check the link for the project, it doesn't work. Greetings.
Thanks EJ!
“Modestly dense… like me” 😂 oh man you got me with that one.
heads up - blog link for the project file doesnt work!
You got me with that "modestly dense...like me" comment haha. Thanks for the tutorial!
how to render the final scene? redshift does not see the remesh in the final render...
Wow I have been waiting on maxon to make adding vertex maps to primitives without having to make them editable for soo long now. The finally did it
This was awesome. Thanks man! :)

I've been trying to recreate a sponge... you know, like one you wash your car with. Not even close. Be interesting if you can come up with a solution
