Love this workout! The first time I did it, it was a little hard and I had to stop and modify a few things. But after doing it a few times consistently, I feel stronger! I don’t stop as often or modify. Thanks so much Robin!
I never realized how much tension I was holding in my back until I tried to do the rolling. I couldn't trust that I wouldn't hurt myself, if I turtle up and fall back, even though I used to be a gymnast. I think part of it is emotional. Afraid my body will fail, or I'll get hurt by doing it. My dog helped me relax :)
Way to get it done, Jane - there are challenging exercises in this routine for sure! Remember that we always encourage you to listen to your body and modify exercises as needed as you continue to build strength and make progress. Keep up the great work!
Omg that was harder than I expected especially the walk to plank and lifting leg each side. I had to do the last one on my knees! I also felt quite lightheaded in the first bit of rolling down and up? I wonder why as I was taking deep breaths in and out?
Hi Jo - great job getting it done! Always feel free to modify exercises based on your comfort level and to go at your pace. 🙂 You can always press "pause" as well so that you can start at a slower pace as your body is getting warmed up and as you start to get the blood flowing.
