Presentazione Butterfly

Butterfly, the title-track of the album, is a cheerful pop song, inspired by the painting “Liberation” by Dusedda Oriolo, depicted on the CD cover.
One day a caterpillar-woman finally awakens as a butterfly-woman (“Spread your wings and fly, leave your old life behind”). She frees herself from painful memories and from the cage of pre-established roles that imprison her. So now she flies high into the sky, flying above mountains and seas set on fire by the sunset, towards freedom and full self-awareness.
I wanted it to be the title-track of the CD to highlight how inner rebirth can occur through creativity and artistic expression, as in the case of the painter. The choice to put her painting as the cover of the CD aims to underline the cathartic dimension of art (“Color your dreams and shape them into a butterfly”)
