Presentazione Life in the Slow Lane

The title of the song is clearly inspired by the well-known Eagles song “Life in the fast lane”: a life lived at maximum speed, well represented in the album Hotel California. In contrast to the life described by the Eagles, my song is an affectionate mockery of my husband's laziness, and of his living "in the slow lane". The verse that most exemplifies the spirit of the song is certainly ”If you saw the house on fire you'd light up a cigarette / sitting on your rocking chair with a cold beer, no regrets”
The lyrics deliberately contrast with the '80s rock rhythm of the song.
