East Coast Solo Camping in 1989 Chevy G20 Van. Day 1.

I took the 1989 Chevy G20 Van to the east coast, Jekyll Island, Ga. for some solo camping. It was a fun time. This is day 1.

Never been there but I love it!! Those gnarly trees on the beach and the sound of the waves…..this country is just so beautiful!
And to top it off with hot dogs, a beer and a camp fire. Man that’s my dream vacation right there!
Not sure how you are going to top day 1 but I’m excited to see! Thanks for sharing!

They are called Live Oaks. They are so cool. They don't get as tall as other oaks bit they grow very wide. Dinner was great! I haven't looked at the video clips for Day 2 yet so hopefully it will be just as entertaining as Day 1.

for the SES light, just use a paper clip to short the top two right pins on the obd1 connector with the key on ignition, count the flashing of the SES light, then lookup the flash count for the code

That's great. I feel blessed that I found one in pretty good condition for being 35 years old. Though I may try to get a newer one as well at least from the early to mid 2000s. But I would keep the one I got as well.
