Congratulations on finding a clean van. Now you can make a camper van out of it, & build with the quality stuff that won't let you down when you need it.
I really like the simplicity in these older vehicles. I don't need all the stupid bells and whistles in newer vehicles.
I am gonna miss the truck for sure, but I am also excited to see all the new adventures that you and Bertha are gonna have.
We should have the truck back up and running before winter 👍

i clicked on this only because my dad had a 93 model. this brought me back so much joy. I grew up with it and its missed very much. thank you.
I graduated hs in 1996, i bought my first car my junior year and it was a 66k mile 1983 chevy G20 conversion van. It spent its entire life in the southwest so not a spot of rust. Blue shag carpet, the whole early 80’s kitten caboodle. I have so many good memories with that thing and I really need to keep my eyes open for another one one of these days. I want to do a modern drivetrain 4x4 conversion van now.
Paint it green call it the Mystery Machine! This is awesome! That thing is mint!

I dont think i would start pulling it apart for camping its way to nice and original.
12:41 The 2nd row of seats may fold forward flat. It'll give you the room to lie flat on each side (you may have to take the headrests off). If you don't put them all the way down, they can be lounge chairs looking out the back door. I'm so excited for your future adventures.

An absolute gem of a find! I grew up traveling for family vacations in a van just like that but with a small sink and countertop. Love it!
i bought an 89 explorer conversion in the mid 90s with 65k miles and a 350 block with fi in mint condition and let it go with 300 k miles ...still purring like a kitten..one amazing block

I actually totally forgot about those vans until your video! they were super comfy to drive in! Wow. Watching this video takes me back to the 90s. My family had a very similar chevy conversion van and, not to brag, it had a tv, vhs player, and a fricking NES. Hours of playing super Mario on road trips. Good times.

Great score on that van, super clean looking rig! Can't imagine there are many 95's out there that clean. I love those older vans, and those stock chevy wheels are some of my favorites.

I miss this, as a kid my parents had a 1990 Ford Econoline conversion van, and it was the greatest travel van. As a kid, we loved it. That's an awesome buy, brother..

Congrats on our find. I live about 60 miles from where these vans were made, Their plant was a quality establishment with the Tiara vans being one of the trim levels. Their manufacturing plant was very nice and the signage was at another level for its day, company went out of business in the 2000s. Great piece of history,.

I bought a new conversion van in 1995. It was a Dodge Ram but the inside was exactly like your Chevy. I loved it and took MANY trips in it. You are going to be very happy with that beauty!

Congrats on the new shaggin waggin! Reminds me of my 92 Dodge van with a Mark 3 conversion. I bought used 25+ years ago kept it for bout 10 years. We had taken it all over the country camping, hunting, and fishing. We removed the center seats for more room. Hope we get more rain, we need it!

I had a chance to buy the GMC version of this van, a couple years newer, with only 66k miles on it, but couldn't pull the trigger fast enough. I liked that it was the shorter length. It was definitely lacking in power, but that will be better gas mileage. Looking forward to the build!

Can’t wait to see you PIMP YOUR RIDE! Love it! I can see you removing the seat behind the front passenger to make it easier getting in and out and cooler storage there. I’d tint all the windows to 5% for privacy! Roof rack! Throw your awning on the side! Making me want to get one!

Man i remember those when i was younger my uncle had one and he converted it to a camper mind you this was in 93 he had the shag carpet in his with different things but i remember the back seat turning in to a bed and the big windows im 42 now this would be the perfect vehicle for you to convert for alot of things you do good find and keep doing what you do mike love your videos
