Yeah I actually always like Rigby, slightly more than Mordecai In the early seasons, though he was kind of a jerk, he was Mordecai’s bets friend, and best friend’s usually be mean to each other the most. Mordecai was only intrigued by Margret and disregarded Rigby, which is one reason why he bullied Mordecai in some episodes, because he just wanted to spend time with his bro. In the late seasons, he really matured and wasn’t a jerk to Mordecai as much. At the end of the day, Mordecai took Rigby’s friendship with him for granted. Rigby really enjoyed spending time with him, but Mordecai was only interested in Margret. In many episodes, Rigby seems benevolent towards non-recurring characters. Rigby also did a lot of favours for his friends, which Benson reminded the Park Gang after they refused to help him gain back his pride, after he was humiliated on that “Expert or Liar” show.
I'd argue Muscle Man got the most development. He went from a character with one or two traits, to a very fleshed out character with lots of personality.
Izlagalia More like the girls in his life were the problem. Margret was always with different guys in the beginning and rejected him to go to University, and CJ had a bunch of mood swings. At the most, Mordecai is just a bit awkward around girls he likes, but he is still a good guy to have. Edit: Yeah, I looked at his “simp”licity (yeah I went there) and he was even more dumped out than I remember. I thought it was just the one thing with killing Rigby in that alternate dimension, but he’s done plenty more afterwards.

He got hung up on a person who didn’t want him and destroyed their relationship from the inside.
Unlike Morde who changes what he is to appeal best to his (many) girlfriend, Rigby is just....Rigby. What Eileen sees is what she gets. And Rigby is a kind person, despite his laziness and slack loving personality

Rigby is not exactly a catch, bottom employed, no college education, not much of a looker, probably smells bad and yet Eileen is able to look past all that and still like him so points for her. Eileen manages to bring out the best in Rigby, Rigby becomes a better person as a result of her influence.

Yeah, Rigby had the biggest character development in the show in terms of personal development. He hated his brother because he was his shadow, but they eventually fixed their brotherhood. He also hated his father due to not being paid enough attention. But, his father found out how well his son became after seeing how much he cared for his friends, his girlfriend and his family.
Okay I love them and now that I watch their moments again I can see the subtle hints they liked eachother and were dating, like rigby was so attentive to eileen and they were always together. Rigby even piggybacked her to the beach and their looks they give are so cute.

Their relationship is so real and believable honestly a highlight of the show for me. I love the fact that they developed and started dating off screen I love the fact that they didn't shove it in your face and just let their interactions do the storytelling. It was always great and they will always be my favorite characters in this show.

Mordecai got a high school diploma before Rigby and is a successful artist, I wish we would’ve see more to Mordecai other than relationships. I would like to have both because in the end they are both positive Rigby has learned to be more responsible while Mordecai has learned to move on with his life and be more authentic.
I love their story. At first, Rigby barely even acknowledges Eileen and then they slowly get together. So much better than all Mordecai’s relationships.

I always shipped them since I was a little child. They're literally perfect for each other and Rigby is such a nice person to Eileen and he's just himself unlike Mordecai trying to change in every relationships he gets into. Every time I was getting frustrated over Mordecai trying to come back to Margaret and breaking up with CJ, Eileen and Rigby always calmed me down. They're such a nice and chill couple, i'm so glad they got married in the end unlike Mordecai and the ugly thing he got married with after all the ship tease to be honest.
This show truly shows, to me at least, one of the greatest character developments in Rigby. At first he’s a selfish,lazy, and insensitive person, but with more and more time, you can see just how much of an amazing character he shapes into, all thanks to Eileen and her being able to bring the best out of Rigby’s character more than anyone. I feel that they're both amazing characters it's really just who you can relate to more. If anything we can all agree this show had the best characters who had the most personality. Love you guys stay safe

Their relationship is so real and believable honestly a highlight of the show for me. I love the fact that they developed and started dating off screen I love the fact that they didn't shove it in your face and just let their interactions do the storytelling. It was always great and they will always be my favorite characters in this show.

I always shipped them since I was a little child. They're literally perfect for each other and Rigby is such a nice person to Eileen and he's just himself unlike Mordecai trying to change in every relationships he gets into.
Every time I was getting frustrated over Mordecai trying to come back to Margaret and breaking up with CJ, Eileen and Rigby always calmed me down.

You know the show did it right when they can make you totally change you perception of the characters over time.
This show truly shows, to me at least, one of the greatest character developments in Rigby. At first he’s a selfish,lazy, and insensitive person, but with more and more time, you can see just how much of an amazing character he shapes into, all thanks to Eileen and her being able to bring the best out of Rigby’s character more than anyone. Good show indeed.
