The fact that in the regular show movie, rigby wants to kill himself by flying into the sun so he won't have to be sad about mordecai getting mad at him is really sad
@@yahjah3795 Wouldn’t say ruined as he was only 23 years old and lived a pretty exciting life despite the fact that he was working at a park for a living.
A sad moment you forgot to add was when Pops’ dad looked up at the sky and wiped his tears because while everyone was being reunited with their friends and loved ones, his dad was the only who didn’t get that experience even though he know Pops did what he had to in order to save everyone
Top 5 Sad moments for me 1. Pops Dying thus saving the universe. 2. Mona Dying from Klorgbane 3. Rigby tells Mordecai about his college letter. 4. Benson says “I forgive you” in the thanksgiving special. 5. Mordecai and Margaret’s problems/depression.
The thing I love most about this show is it manages too have humor even in the saddest of moments. Example being when Rigby apologizes to Mordecai but right after ask Mordecai to ask Benson if he could get a statue, just little things like that. I don’t like using the word masterpiece too describe this show because I feel as though the word has lost its meaning since it’s overused. But I truly can’t think of a better way to to describe this show. It truly is one of a kind.
The Saddest moment in the show in my opinion is when 'Mona' dies in skips story. Seeing Skips loose someone he really cared about was so heartbreaking. Especially learning about his time at High School before becoming immortal. You can see how upset he was after loosing her.
Learning how Skips became immortal was the saddest episode of the series. Losing the only woman he ever loved, Mona, and then becoming immortal for the sake of the universe. Knowing full well that anyone he was friends with and cared about would eventually die but skips would still be around. "Do you really want to live forever?" Forever young by Rod Stewart.
5:26 this scene always hit me hard. Rigby is such and amazing friend to Mordecai. Checking on his bro and then just being there for his bro. I love this scene.
Tbh I'd do something different like block listing him seriously college ain't a joke if they're implying that it's a high tier college like Harvard or something destroying his future even if let's say mordecai is gonna be miserable at college but he and Rigby can hang out time to time so yeah big L for Rigby even if it's for the good
I always hated Benson in the earlier seasons because he seemed to just rage for the hell of it at times. But after seeing Busted Cart after he went from his usual rage to just...broken down. It really caused me to symthpized with him especially with Mordecai and Rigby admitting they really messed up that time. Especially when you remember he lives in a shabby apartment by himself. If he lost his job, he really would have nothing.
Aun más cuando ves el episodio en donde se regresa a la tierra y los demás se quedan en el espacio si no fuera por Mordecai rigby y los demás no tendría a nadie
Looking at the show in hindsight, Benson is a saint. He's basically running a halfway house for people that don't have anywhere else to go, trying to get them to be better people. He says he's gonna fire people but almost never follows through. I feel like he's making up for a lack of social life by making his own "family" at the park.
All the marathons, new episodes, reruns, binge sessions and hilarious/banger commercials created from this show was worth the experience. And the best part is: many of these episodes can be watched in no order (depending on the episode and season). I hope the creators make another banger series, because this show still stands to the test of time.
You couldn't pay me enough to feel sad for Mordecai in S4 Episode 40 given how awful things got from there. Same goes for Margaret, in fact I found her part satisfying, shame on her for getting involved with Mordecai while he's dating CJ
The one that actually made me sad for some odd reason was the where Hi Five Ghost meets that one girl in the coffee shop and fails to meet her after various years. Even though they eventually do reunite, seeing him go through all that trouble and sad in the end when he thinks he failed hit me.
Ok I have a huge problem with the scene in season 6 episode 28. CJ says “there’s only one reason why you’d lie about that” implying that Margaret having feelings for her was the only explanation. Except that the very real explanation is that Margaret lied about having a boyfriend in the previous episode because CJ flew into a giant jealous rage, and almost murdered Margaret, Mordecai, and Margaret’s dad because… *checks notes* she saw Margaret eat cake Mordecai was holding… sure. That’s a reasonable reaction. I honestly never liked CJ with Mordecai, she was always extremely jealous and insecure about the smallest things.
interesting and pretty vaid take. CJ has serious anger issues that can really hurt people. it was fast thinking for margaret to lie actually. Her parents could have died.
The writers needlessly made CJ look more and more terrible to justify their stupid lust for Mordecai and Margaret. Because CJ did have a point behind getting jealous and frustrated over Mordecai and Margaret's nonsense, but the way they went about it made it look like they did this stuff on purpose for CJ to look worse.
Thank you. I'm not expert in relationships but it's so annoying when CJ gets so upset over these little miniscule things mordecai does. Like how can mordecai stand her when she always restricts him from hanging out with other people? And they only knew each other because he thought Margaret was marrying someone else (who turned out to be her cousin). Just sad. Also upsetting that his relationship with Margaret didn't work out. I get she went away for college and couldn't see mordicai but once she came back, he was already through her and dating CJ, so weird and unfortunate.
She did have a point when she said Margaret didn't even try to keep in touch with Mordecai after she went to college. That whole emotional scene of her being accepted to college never made sense to me because it's not as if they didn't have phones to contact eachother.

Idk, Pam also dumped Benson too for that same reason, although when Benson came back to earth he was with Pam. When Margaret came back mordecai was already with CJ so too late. @@justadinohavingagoodtime596 I mean I'm in a long distance relationship with someone who's fairly similar to me, I think Mordecai and Margeret just needed wayyyyy better communication
They were in a relationship but she basically "dumped" him because she went away for college. Idk why she couldn't wait til she finishes school then come back but she probably knew he would be lonely and find someone else, like CJ. So once Margaret came back, mordecai found someone else. And the scene with CJ, she only lied to CJ about having a boyfriend because CJ was about to kill them in a helicopter just because CJ is an oversenstive girl who can't stand once single hairline of mordecai having fun with other people, no matter how innocent it is. Seriously how can mordecai put up with this girl when CJ won't let him hangout with anyone else? Just an unfortunate situation
@@isolatedanonymous1979 that's what I figured. Someone else in this comment section said "doesn't margarat know that long term relationship exist" so you can tell him why that's not possible or would most likely not work
@@jonathanf2392 She wasn't upset that Mordecai was hanging with other people, she was upset that he was getting in bad situations with the person he literally CHEATED ON HER WITH. She had every right to be mad and paranoid because Mordecai becomes an idiot when Margaret is around and she knew that Margaret still liked him. Now does that excuse attempted murder? No, but her anger was always justified a good amount of the time.
Ya know, Mordecai might've messed up with CJ a boyfriend wayyy too many times, but she was also way too overly possessive of him too. She couldn't stand the idea that Mordecai could have friends who were girls *unless she was friends with those girls too*. Don't forget that she tried to kill him and Margaret (as well as any bystanders) just because he "gave her some cake" in the helicopter scene. Mordecai is always painted out as the biggest jerk by the internet when it comes to dating, but let's not sweep all the bad stuff CJ did to everyone around her too. She was too blinded by her feelings that she couldn't see the possibility that she and Mordecai weren't compatible. That said, the two of them did try their best to make things work. Not just Mordecai, but CJ too. Maybe if they dated later on in their lives they really could have been compatible, but in the moment of their lives that we got to see them, they simply were not. I know that wedding scene is awkward and really upsetting in numerous ways, but it was probably the only way that the two of them could ever understand that they couldn't be together. I really wish that we got to see their resulting conversation by the car after that scene because I feel like it would have alleviated a lot of the audience's tensions from the wedding crashing Mordecai did.
Dude you’re right man I think that a lot of people don’t realize and thats that cj and mordecai really had a natural relationship but the problem was more than cj it was mordecai who always messed up by doing stuff or forgetting that no only a girlfriend is good but also friends and stuff and he only used rigby to get along with cj, but a problem mordecai really had is that he never left the past behind and when he had the time to change he didn’t instead of accepting things he always got stocked with it and making bad decisions if it was for me mordecai and cj should of have ended up together
Watching Regular show is exciting, amazing, and Cringey Good. This Nostalgic show may not have stayed today, but it still delivers quality entertainment still the same.
Like any other cartoon, it just started as a funny 15 minute break. But man did it evolve into so much more. I remember watching a few episodes here and there when it was still running but as I think most kids did with cartoons such as this, I didn't keep with it. Im now an adult and when I saw this on Hulu, I decided to watch it all the way through simply because I remember liking it when I was younger. It quickly became my favorite cartoon from CN, (second to Clone Wars, but I feel like that belongs in a different category.)
Great compilation but it's missing one thing. The episode where Skips lost Mona, was the first time regular show actually made me cry. I haven't listened to "forever young" the same since. They were such a great couple and she was the person who shaped Skips into the awesome character we have today :)
When I first watched the show I stopped watching during the final season. School and work and relationships got in the way. When me and my girlfriend broke up I revisited this show for nostalgia. When I saw the last episode and I heard pops say "jolly good show" I lost it. I still cry every time I watch it because it reminds me that good things always come to an end
2:51 bro let's be honest this scene made all of us cheer (also the way the characters act is very spot on to a sudden fight, the voices erupting, the holding back, etc)
The one episode where everyone thought muscle man was going to die was the saddest for me, especially when they were all saying their goodbyes right before they found out he was just getting married
i think the best thing about regular show or shows like regular show is that they allow these very sad moments and you don't need to going through them to feel sad about the characters i felt sad during these moments when i was a kid and i still feel for these guys now
My friend and I grew up watching regular show, and we sometimes mirror Mordecai and rigby ina way, and now he’s going off to a different college before me, I hope that later on, we’ll have that moment of remembering all the good times we had 25 years later, just like in the finale
i used to get sooo mad because in 4th grade i used to watch this but every day it started 5 minutes before school started so i couldnt watch it live.. i love this show man
I deadass started crying when pops died, like literally the day after the finale premiered was when I watched it. This was one of the first times I actually bawled my to a cartoon.
When it comes to Mordecai, for some reason, everyone immediately has memories of his relationships, despite the fact that they make up less than half of his plot branches. He often helped and stood up for Rigby and the others, saved the situation at the last moment, he is very pleasant as a character (no offense to others). But for some reason, everyone pays attention only to romantic lines and to roffles about bad relationships.
Man. The one where they both sit on the rooftop and just stare out at the city is beautiful. gave us one of our earliest looks at rigbys redemption arc. It shows he really cares about his buddy and will go the extra mile for him. I thought the fact he brought soda and just asked if he wanted to talk and when mordecai says no he respects that. He just gives him a soda and they bro out
Pops sacrifice is very emotional because while they made destiny force them to fight for all eternity. But pops broke that loop of never ending violence. You are who you choose to be
I know the part of Benson almost losing his job is supposed to be sad, but all I can think about is the sonic rant, especially the part when they both say, "When will you learn, that your actions have consequences."
This is a show where floating heads and floating eyeballs challenge you to a game. Where baby ducks can transform into a voltron robot with a six pack. It also has the ability to get really deep and emotional, and touch on real life topics. This show has a little something for everybody. 9/10 -IGN
Something most people miss is that it was season 8 episode 31 of Regular Show and if you put them together you get 831 the numerical abbreviation for "I love you." so 831 stands for "8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning," a complicated phrase that refers to "I love you."
They forgot to include the episode where skips punched the life out of rigby for cheating in arm wrestling anddd the episode where skips lost the only woman he ever loved…

2:51 "You punched him in the face"
The Benson crying and Pops sacrifice are probably the hardest scenes to watch. The amount of emotion is different but the same
Regular show will forever be in my heart, for always and always and always.
RIP Pops. Pops, Benson and Skips were the 3 greatest characters on the entire show
The fact that this show is so weird and goofy but it gets so sad at times
Even with it being covered by jokes
3:31 “is he still crying about the coffee girl” 💀💀💀
Favourite line😭😂
Good memories life used to be so simple as a kid…
Margaret did this to herself because she was too clueless to realize mordecai liked her
Eh I guess but Mordicai had soooo many chances to tell her and didn’t
@@jonathanf2392 long distance relationships don’t always work out
@@isolatedanonymous1979 that's what I figured.

I believe it is my dude
If you rewatch the show, they got licencing rights to a bunch of absolute BANGERS.
Watching Regular show is exciting, amazing, and Cringey Good. This Nostalgic show may not have stayed today, but it still delivers quality entertainment still the same.
Rest in peace pops. A true friend.
What Benson said there, some bosses will say shit like that at those times
Like any other cartoon, it just started as a funny 15 minute break. But man did it evolve into so much more. I remember watching a few episodes here and there when it was still running but as I think most kids did with cartoons such as this, I didn't keep with it. Im now an adult and when I saw this on Hulu, I decided to watch it all the way through simply because I remember liking it when I was younger. It quickly became my favorite cartoon from CN, (second to Clone Wars, but I feel like that belongs in a different category.)
8:36 You Can Feel The Heartbreak in Mordecai voice HE NEVER WANT HIS FRIEND TO DIE😢
Rigby has really developed since S1. I still adore him being there for Mordecai after Margaret broke up with him.
Great compilation but it's missing one thing. The episode where Skips lost Mona, was the first time regular show actually made me cry. I haven't listened to "forever young" the same since. They were such a great couple and she was the person who shaped Skips into the awesome character we have today :)
7:02 Im really glad Mordecai ran after Cj and didnt even look back at Margaret.
Regular show is the GOAT of tv 😢did it have to end😭it is the best and truly amazing ❤
A sad moment you should've add was when Skip tells his story about how he lost his high school sweetheart Mona.♥️
the memories man, they hurt so much definitely gonna remember this cause it was always a jolly good show :/
When I first watched the show I stopped watching during the final season.
5:26 hits so hard especially this August. Where my long distance relationships at ?
Pops death and everyone reunited was the last thing i watch😢
The one episode where everyone thought muscle man was going to die was the saddest for me, especially when they were all saying their goodbyes right before they found out he was just getting married
Pops dying had to of been the saddest moment of the whole show
season 3 episode 27 hits different when your an adult
this episode where I understand benson from his perspective
@@rouymalic4463 yeah and i think its one fo the turning ones where mordica and rigbe start to really understand benson
@@coolchrisable especially in the park award episode the character development of those two are great
@@rouymalic4463 oh yeah i love the character development in regular show
Up to this day I still watch this show. it's my childhood show that me and my cousin grow up with.
good old days 😭❤️
i think the best thing about regular show or shows like regular show is that they allow these very sad moments and you don't need to going through them to feel sad about the characters i felt sad during these moments when i was a kid and i still feel for these guys now
My friend and I grew up watching regular show, and we sometimes mirror Mordecai and rigby ina way, and now he’s going off to a different college before me, I hope that later on, we’ll have that moment of remembering all the good times we had 25 years later, just like in the finale
I loved this show as a kid! And seeing Pops Sacrificed himself made me cry😭
Man... _Regular Show hit different._ *What a great time to be alive for cartoons!*
“Everyone always wants to start over. Why don’t you try getting it right the first time?”
Because that's not how life works. I can maybe count on one hand the number of things I got right on the 1st try.
It’s crazy how in the end of the movie he can die happy knowing his best friend forgives him
1:43 A really big what?🤨
Fr
i used to get sooo mad because in 4th grade i used to watch this but every day it started 5 minutes before school started so i couldnt watch it live.. i love this show man
I deadass started crying when pops died, like literally the day after the finale premiered was when I watched it. This was one of the first times I actually bawled my to a cartoon.
The saddest part was that the series itself is in heaven, which means
Regular Show has finished airing
"No, pterdactyle with a really Big..." I wish I heard him finish this sentence
I loved Regular Show. It did get pretty serious at times but I don't think I watched those episodes.
This video shouldve been titled “ Top 10 Realest Moments In Regular Show”
That would have been a very good title
Ah yes flying with your antimatter brother with psychic powers into the sun is very realistic
He just gives him a soda and they bro out
Pops proved that even pure evil can never beat love 🖤
for me Pop's Death is definantly the saddest
Rigby reading the rejection letter in the movie cut deep.
I grew up with this show with my cousins for a long time...and now that im 18 i feel so sad seeing all this....life hits hard as you mature😢
9/10 -IGN
Something most people miss is that it was season 8 episode 31 of Regular Show and if you put them together you get 831 the numerical abbreviation for "I love you." so
831 stands for "8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning," a complicated phrase that refers to "I love you."
“With brothers you always gotta make due”
Rigby really was a bad friend(and person) until he started dating Eileen. She managed to redeem him hard-core bro
Rigby forging the college letter hits hard
They forgot to include the episode where skips punched the life out of rigby for cheating in arm wrestling anddd the episode where skips lost the only woman he ever loved…
I forgot about that scene lol
I might have shed a few tears
Your not alone bro 😢
Rigby's sacrifice doesn't hit as hard when you realize Skips is immortal
Pops's death literally broke me when I watched it
I cry at the end of regular show every time
I wish I had someone like Mordecai as a brother/friend.
So you would like to get punched sometimes?
