When I was a little kid and watched this show, I had no idea what getting drunk even was. In hindsight, it is pretty accurate. My dad was a lot like the chaotic drunk Bensen. One time he was drunk and convinced me and some friends to draw on the faces of others at a sleep over. Good times. I’ve never looked back on that stuff negatively, in all honesty. It was a part of life where I was in elementary school. Anything wacky and crazy was fun. I wasn’t afraid of clowns, and so I wasn’t afraid of my dad. I still love him, and if anybody needs a happy ending to the story, he is four years sober by now.
You know its actually quite touching how much Benson genuinly cares about his crew, especially considering how much they get into trouble he seems like a good boss: knows when to get shit done but also when to enjoy himself and have fun.

Personally I often eat wings and drink, as well as chase my alcohol with soda if I feel like chasing something I dont like the taste of. So I think THAT'S why they did that.

Growing up is realizing that benson wasn’t ever really mean. He’s just a dude with stress and wants people he surrounds himself with to do better. I like how they keep that part of his personality when he gets drunk. He’s not a dick, he’s actually a really nice guy

I was that guy. We were chilling at a bar last year, Old buddied from college we meet up last summer and meet at some local food place and my guy had a girl he was planning to marry and a week before the marriage it was called off and she broke his heart. As he pulled out his favorite lighter (Some restored 40+ year old lighter) I was like "Wait then why do you still carry that around?" All my buddies looked at me then him as we watch him comprehend what was happening, he stared at the lighter for 3 minutes, put it down on the table and just walked out of the place, We all heard him screaming like a pained animal before coming back in and just dropping the lighter to the floor. It was a fun rest of lunch.
That's my best friend. One night i told him about a depression i have been struggling in secret, about a really bad break up i had with a guy i loved. And then the next day, we played a shooter game and i do a triple kill with a character that my ex used to play and the VERY THING HE SAYS IS "yooo... Remember when [name] did that whole team kill? Yeah, he was so good with that character. It's a shame he doesn't play with us anymore. Haha anyways" i wanted to fuckin cry. HE REALIZE WHAT SHIT HE SAID AFTER I WAS MUTE FOR HALF HOUR... Haha friends, so nice.
@AYAH ASAD yea alcohol evaporates in a hurry when its in the presence of heat hell, it evaporates at room temperature in a hurry. if you spill 99% alcohol on a table, it will be gone in only a few minutes. given the amount in beer and the amount used when cooking, and the time with witch it is kept at a very high temperature, yea there aint shit left.
