Dear Dan and Jo, was fortunate to spend hours with Adam in Dubai last week, as he and bortnikoff was there for the beauty fest, beauty world middle east and I had i loved most of his new ones but things which blew mine and many others mind were some of his super exclusive attars, which he is not selling online, guys I wish you guys could smell them, got 3, one vintage musk in vintage sandalwood is something which we will feel like drinking, chocolaty musk, this man has many many things in his arsenal which we have not seen and experienced yet 🙏🙏🙏

Thanx for yet another wonderful video. I always enjoy watching fellow fume heads losing their minds over an artist’s beautiful work. And he’s such a beautiful person as well, which is reflected in his work and in the price. He could charge 2,3,4 x what he dose but he wants people to be able to afford it and experience his art. Thanx guys.

Got my sample set today Russian Adam hats off to you brother, being a British Pakistani all these scents are familiar to me, but the way he has elevated these precious ingredients is mind blowing. I sprayed Beaty and the beast and Gul hina on my dad and Malik al motia on my nan all am going to say they were jaw dropped same as me. And I’ve been in the natural perfume game for a while. ❤

I’ve been wearing attars my whole life and can’t tell you enough how much closely they resemble to each attars they are made after. They’ve been given uplift and much better projection than any attars. I’m amazed at how Adam managed to do it.

Loved the video - Insightful and thorough as always! I had a similar experience, I appreciated the variety across the collection and was wowed by many of the openings in particular. Longevity was mostly above average, but projection was sadly lacking after the first hour or so, with the exception of beauty and the beast. I felt these were amazing artistic experiences, bu not perfumes to wear every day, especially at the price point.
On a separate topic, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the work of Jorum Studio. They’re my favorite house of late, and the first artisan/niche house out of Scotland! I think you would enjoy Nectary, Athenaeum, Phloem and Carduus in particular.

great collection, much prefer this over the actual attars before this. I got a bottle of Mysore Incenza and eyeing Gul Hina still..and maybe also Ambre Coco...Ambre Coco lasts forever on me, but yes the opening is not as gourmand as I thought. Mysore Incenza grows sweeter with honey than Ambre Coco on me. Mysore Incenza reminds me of Hiram Greens Voyage

@@WaftsfromTheLoft Mysore Incenza is lovely, but wears very softly on me. I got it through a swap. Gul Hina is still on the table for me because it's priced better, but not sure yet. *meant the drydown of Ambre Coco in my comment above btw

Another amazing video 📹 from the #Kingsoffragrance and #perfumery - Dan and Jo - the lofty wafters. Boys, you ooze soul and warmth, and I am sure all of us who watch your content love your dedication, dialogues, jokes and how you break things down for us. You bring a bit of sunshine and #olfactory sunshine to us all! ✨️ Please don't stop! Dan - look after yourself, you seemed a bit pale in this clip, maybe the lighting?! I have yet to sample Areej Le Dore #areejladore yet but will 💯 % give them a go now....
Also - I have the Maquis de Sade from #histoiredeparfums and #chyprepalatin on the way from the USA tx to your other video contents discussions and smelling!

Thx for the always thorough review. As a die hard fan since I discovered him during his 1-2 releases, his newer ones seem to be different, more lighter, flowery, which is not my favorite. I would like him to get back to his older collection styles. For the prices, I can't justify buying any of these.

Hi guys, very good as always and your faces speak together with your mouth: I haven't seen your "wow"!
I believe that there is some confusion in the releases of Areej le Dorè and that she has left her signature on a different path. For me this round is again a no overall, too many fragrances and a lost identity even though. I appreciate the experimentation but not is for me, I would also like some attention for the consumer since on the official website there are not even the olfactory notes but only the name and the price, not low.
    Thanks for the nice video.

Try blending an animalic spray on top of the short term longevity and projection fragrances. I find it can extend a dying fragrance by a couple hours.

Thanks, gentlemen. Have you tried any of the accompanying traditional Indian Attars Areej released? It would be interesting to see your educated noses put those as a point of contrast with the fully-fledged perfumes.
P.S. - Any chance of one of you giving us a few riffs of Oh Jerusalem on the organ sometime?

I was quite underwhelmed by this collection. Very basic and simple compositions and many are quite synthetic. I did enjoy Gul Hina very much though despite that and will probably buy it.
Al Majmua was pretty boring for my tastes to be honest.
Ambre de Coco is the only one that's obviously Russian Adam. It's like a combo of ottoman empire, oud zhen, Antiquity, and this one had some Russian oud for me. I do like it. Don't need it though.
Way too much rose is mysore incenza for me. And not nearly enough "incenza".
Beauty and the beast isn't the type of oud I enjoy not to mention the humongous pink rose. Absolutely nothing even remotely close to Russian Oud.
Malik al Motia was the one I was most excited for and while it was pretty nice on test strip.. it was a bland green jasmine on my skin. Unfortunate. Smells nice at least but not interesting enough.

I’m relatively new to Areej Le Dore. I’ve never smelled any of his pre-2022 releases but have bought all of the fragrances released this year. I’ve got to be really honest, I was expecting much more and I’m feeling a little disappointed. The quality and the olfactory sensation is nowhere near Bortnikoff, Papillon, Prin, et al. Civet de Nuit is probably my favorite of his 2022 releases but I prefer Zoologist Bee. Ambre de coco is nice but it’s not as good as Oud Monarch. Beauty and the Beast is nice but it’s been done before (Carbon Sapphire, Triad). Perhaps my expectations were too high? After all of the hype I was expecting holy grail, which is probably unfair.

Great thoughts gents. "Orgasmic delight and horror" 😆 Jo never fails to entertain. It's the ever-so-familiar "why can't I stop smelling this?" schtik. 🧐 The olfactory receptor equivalent of cognitive dissonance. 😂 Certainly a fitting name for the perfume! I like how you have your notes ready too Dan. Interesting about that spice receding into the drydown of Ambre de Coco.

I hope you’re gonna be honest about this newest collection. I have sampled all of them, long enough to know what I’m talking about. Russian Adam has put out garbage. All of them are terrible. This new collection is boring, it’s weak and not worth the money. None of them are unique and they don’t last at all.
Aquilaria blossom is horrible. Most ppl have sold their bottle . I’m a huge fan of his old work. But everything he’s released after the 6th collection has been just terrible. His collabs failed. Terrible collabs. It’s a shame because we all know he can do so much better

For my nose these perfumes are all not very well balanced. It is very hard to balance fragrances with only natural ingrediences.
I can not see any beauty in any of these.
The only perfume from this house I like is Atlantic ambergis no. 2. I like a lot of Indie house perfumes like for example Maher or Centauri perfumes.
