- Composite deck tiles: purchase and installaion. Gives detailed guidance on patio installation on slab concrete of composite deck tiles made by NewTech Wood. Includes measuring and cutting the tiles to make a more useful and attractive patio. Composite deck tiles provide an alternative to ceramic tile and pressure-treated wood. They are made from encapsulated recycled materials and should be low maintenance. This video shows how to measure for purchase, how to snap them together, how to cut them and then how to finish the installation.

Thank you! This was extremely helpful. I'm going to install these same tiles on my deck and you addressed every concern and answered every question I have.
Thanks Jim. Just ordered these for our house in Loris. Going to tackle this project when we are back down in a couple of weeks. Knowing what to expect is half the battle. Feel more comfortable after watching your video. Thanks again
Thank you so much for this detailed installation guide! I have ordered this product in the light grey color and now feel confident installing and cutting it ! Thank you for the glue recommendation too! Your patio turned out beautiful!
So helpful thank you this video is better than the manufacturer perfect scenario videos haha. Thank you sir
Thank you for providing such a detailed video. I was curious about what to use on my deck and this helped a lot!
Great video , very clear instructions, thank you
like your spider
I love this ♥️
Do you think if you just layed the 100 tiles as is. Then there would be no cutting?
Nice! It would have been cool to see More of the final product
Can you lay these directly on grass or a dirt area? Or does it have to be a concrete slab?
Turn the music down
I LIKE THAT YOU ARE HUMAN.
Would have been nice if you showed the final decking in detail, but thanks for the video. Does the deck stay in place, it seems like it could shift around.
will this work over an existing trex deck? or will it be wobbly?
Can anyone tell me if bees and wasps can get under the tiles?
How do they stick to the older deck?......or do they just rest on top of them?
The just lay on top and can be removed.
where did you purchase the tiles?
never mind, I just heard it.
How much were the tiles per sq foot?
Ended up being about $8 per square foot.
Sorry but I did not see where you purchase the tile please tell me where you purchased the tile.
Home Depot , it’s on the video
Do these move when placed on top of concrete?
They sale something in Ikea that goes first and then the title for concrete only or paver I saw it today or u can ask when u are there
I wonder if a hurricane hits me here in Florida if the tiles would fly off my patio
I'm curious wind affecting the tiles as well
Great video! Is it difficult to remove without breaking the plastic snaps?
Easy to unsnap and remove.
@@jimlukenoutdoors8428 Jim, will I need any tools to do it, or just use my hands and pull up on one end?
I just tried it! Easy!!! Sorry for bugging you! I was nervous but they just came up very quickly!
Good to hear@@dockim7125
I have one very important question, this bike in the garage, does it have a reverse gear, I ask, because I don't think it has room to turn and looks to heavy to push back....as for the tiles, cheap and nasty, they slip, water and slime will pool underneath, you know this, so kinda surprised you even bothered, but not to say you didn't do your best with the horrible little things my friend, as always, you get what you pay for.......
Your video was great! But please, NO music on the background ;-)
You sound like those morons on resorts that don’t want music playing lol put the phone on mute
PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME ADVICE. Do you think this can be used on a wood deck? Am having a big problem because I hired professional painters that recommend a solid wood paint for my pressure treated wood deck and now I dislike the color and now 3 years later it's peeling off. Also since it's a wood deck the boards do have warping so the surface isn't perfectly smooth like concert. Thanks to anyone that can help me out on info.
I think the answer here is yes as long as your wood boards are flat and in good shape.
yes u can
I could only imagine how many spiders and bugs would be living in all those cracks.
Ha Ha. Actually not so many.
And you can certainly periodically spray the deck and area around it with an insecticide.
The music is so annoying !
