Great repair video. No repair manual just basic tools and more importally experience. Reminded me of repairs I did in the Ph. Just two screwdrivers, a soldering iron (w/ lead) and a sanwa analog meter (that I repaired) was all I had. The only smd based repair I did recently was a broken Fluke 867b that I bought for a song.
@@tevzTVTevatronics for next time, dont use wax from candle but RMA-223 flux he is like honey and same result you will have. After that you dont need mix of powder but normal tin 0.5mm and put him on pads. With tweezers just hold and with soldering iron warm up your tin on pads its all. Rest is practice 👍
Very good job mate, but one tip not about the soldering paste, but the paste you put, so I advise you to try next time to put a third of the amount that he uses in the video. Otherwise very good work and video thanks
I use hote tweezer ATTEN N9100 to replace smd components, you can solder this in seconds😅 I am sure if you have the tools you will be very fast and easy job for you BUT I STILL LIKE YOUR VIDEO BECAUSE YOU CAN FIX THE TVS JUST USING WHAT YOU HAVE Waiting for next video tvzs :) you are the best
I usually use common tolls for repairing. many people just wanted to learn in electronics and they don't have a spacial tolls. Its important to learn in the basic way.
You don't, but in this particular example, there's 3 in parallel of same physical size, so most likely the same value. Probably in the 2.2-10uF, it's common values for output of a regulator. Usually slightly more capacitance doesn't hurt, too low capacitance can be bad.
Yes you are not an expert on soldering smd but you are my mentor sir, I wish to repair a screen fault on led screens , thanks you for your wisdom sir.

good job thank's 👍👍👍
Very good information sir ❤
Good video 🌹
Good sir👍
👍watching here master
Mr. Tevz. How do you know what to replace the capacitor with?? I don’t see any numbers on it. That is a little confusing to me.
The vgh voltage is about 28 to 35 volts, so use 50 volts capacitor and 2.2 uf to 10 uf.
@@tevzTVTevatronics thank you Tevz
Newbie is watching master
Very very nice ❤️

Guys if u based in Gauteng I would like to come to work shop ND do practicals pls

ground
THANK YOU SIR
Sir how to know the value of that smd capacitor
Perfect 👍
how do you know what the value of the capacitor was?
Probably used the value from the ones in parallel to it.

I still need to find that elusive shorted smd cap! lol.
Good
Where do you connect another line of 3v injector?
to negative/ground
Thanks
👋👋👍👍👍
I’m confused. How do you know what value it is. No numbers on it. Referring to the capacitance.
The capacitor is for filtering the VGH line, 2.2 uf to 47 uf will work.
Ganyan issue ko ngayon sir sa monitor ko n SpecterPro. Nag blink lang ng yellow yung led.
Tevz it is....
