Calibrating the fuse made me blow up! 😂😂😂 You are the best teacher that can bring theory into practice! Old school! Respect!
We're going to replace the fuse, which means, we're going to put a wire between the two pads. 🤣
That's a proper calibrated fuse.
Yup os the first time he really calibrated a fuse. (Wire)
Sorin, you are a good teacher. We learn a lot to you. Thank you very much for all your are doing for us 🎉🎉
That's what I like about you Sorin. It's real with you. You had me laughing were the fuse was concerned.
(20:35) Huge technical improvement. Thus the component can "breathe" more widely and comfortably. All the best.
You are a calibration expert Sorin, you did that to the nearest Ohm ! :)
A trace finder is a fine brass bristle brush on one side of your ohmmeter. You lightly brush around until the meter beeps continuity.
sorin. You're doing a great job my friend. Believe me, you're doing repairs that most laptop repairmen can't do 👏👍💪
always learning something new with sorin , wwe realy appreciate your work
I always follow your tutorial all the way from Papua New Guinea and it very helpful thanks for your kind information..
And remember to take out the battery and disconnect the power before you play around or change a screen, then you shouldn't blow up fuses on your computer people 👍
my way to find hidden tracks on multilayer boards: multimeter to continuity beeping mode, one line to the track i want to follow, the other line i strip a measurement cable (best is fine cable with 100..200 single wires) and use this end like a brush wiping all over the board
The proper Cutibrated FUSE.excellent :D
i love a fix with these calibrated fuses!!...Every Company should sell this^^
for a fuse you can use a wire from a small motor or wall clock coil and test how much current it conduct before blowing up with power supply.
great video sorin.. where is the follow up to crash course part 2 the answer regarding the two capacitors on the battery circuit ..????
Sorin you rock 💪💪💪
Hello, super Merci , surtout pour votre bonne humeur.
Another quick fix well executed, missing 19v and 3.3v to screen etc. Fuses are very expensive to buy, always use wire and you can't go wrong... unless you want to protect the circuit with a fuse... 🤔🤣🤣🤣
Yesterday I had the capacitor karma, after remove fan seems not to spin.
HELLO🤝 this is old school ✌👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👋👋👋👋👋
Great video as always, an unrelated question. How do GPS trackers with a remote disable feature work? In work an ex engineer modified a gps tracker to use in our systems. Before we try to change anything i wanted to understand better how the disable function works. (connected to a mainboard directly soldered).
Jak wstawisz drut zamiast bezpiecznika kolejna osoba naprawiająca laptopa nie będzie miała już tyle szczęścia. Prawdopodobnie uszkodzi się już PCH albo GPU. Zawsze wstawiaj rezystor 0 ohm i pamiętaj o innych. Oni też chcą mieć tyle szczęścia co Ty. 😊
really, cut a wire 😃 this is next level. cant wait for more..
I really get a kick out of watching you do your thing,
That's a great video.. Much appreciated.. I have learned a lot from this short video
Very interesting and thank you for sharing
Another proper calibrated fuse by the book •~•
nice repair 🤩❤❤❤❤
Five years of learning Sorin!!!! JAJAJAJAJAJAJA
Sorin please a question. One laptop in a random way is resetting itself, I can’t find the failure, any ideas?
So, water damage blew the fuses?
Maybe? Just a guess.
I have two different laptop of different brand, but they have almost the same problem. Is it incidental that both laptop have the. same related trouble.......blinking screen until the screen becomes black. What is the most possible problem, or where should I focus to troubleshoot?
the way he said ohhhhhh i cut it 😂
This happens if you change the screen with the battery connected?
It can be one of the causes
it's badly designed by intent, they could have used 2 mosfets there that cut the circuit if the laptop is shut down.
@@orange11squares you're right, but unfortunately not on these days...
If you ask me, but i am not into electronics, it looks much more simple to replace the fuse from a donor board, it will be fast with a tweezers and hotgun. Then use wire, and be always careful to position of wire.
You apply few seconds heatgun and it will be so easy to remove and replace.
But since you are in the electronic field, probably you know which method is more simple.
I guess, it is harder to find fuses on boards? WIth you experience you should find them so easy.
Btw as an experiment, next time try both ways and see which is faster?
It's even more easy to just buy bunch of fuses but main problem is same, you can't know which value is original fuse (you can see that hey only have type marking on them) and it's again guessing game. It may look "more professional" but not any less dodgy than this.
Wire he use looks huge on screen but it'll just melt at current over 1A probably even faster than real 1A fuse. With errors you can expect with screens being full short it will fork just a same as fuse melting in seconds.
@@gorky_vk The value cannot be worse then a thick wire :). For sure it will be microamps, those wire fuses looks too big.
A true Master (-:
well done, but aren't you wondering and asking yourself, why these 2 fuses had blown? There must have been a (temporary) big fault which caused this failure which maybe could come again, when the laptop's back at the customer? Well, maybe liquid fault, but who knows..
I can fixed the car camera Mother board yesterday it unbelievable I have picture just remove shorted capacitor.
Nice One
12:38 Hot Glue Party ! 😁
Thanks 👍🙏🧡💚
What caused the 2 fuses failure? poor quality fuse, Fatigue or too low a rating?
because the client tried to disconnect the screen without removing the charger/battery. and the fuses did what are supposed to do - protect the circuit from short circuit
Don't forget , this laptop was water damaged also. how badly, we can only guess. but this can be also a reason why the two fuses for the lcd are gone.
now thats a proped calibrated fuse
Nice!
Do you have any video on blue screen of death or “your device ran into a problem and needs to restart” problem, they told me in service its ssd problem after changing it still happens then they told me my conector needs soldering and they did it it worked fine for 2 months now again after half and hour of use i get blue screen of death and it restarts my laptop thinkpad
Mostly software, drivers issue not Motherboard🙏🧡💚
Do a memory test.
nice
rule number 1, sorin didn't change the caps
rule number 2, sorin didn't change the fuses 😂
oppps re cut but great job Sorin. lol heehee
its just Fujitsu they ditched Siemens and its S like Superman not Z ! :D hehe cmon Sorin you must know that
Display change
ahahahahahahaah hot glue maybe is my job ahahahah
FIrst like ? :D nice video always learning something
Why you keep saying lol and not laughing ? Isnt that for text when we cant see or hear you ?
Only Fujitsu😂!
I am sorry Sorin, you cannot calibrate a wire by cutting acroos it lol. Everyone knows you must make a small cut ALONG the wire. I mean Duh! :) Great job again my friend.
nice calibrated fuse hhhh
Another nice vid, but this Fujitsu laptop is so old, there is literally no point in fixing it.
They've used hot glue, trying to be dodgy. But that was only two and a half microSorins (2.5 µ𐌔).
