    Calibrating the fuse made me blow up! 😂😂😂 You are the best teacher that can bring theory into practice! Old school! Respect!

    We're going to replace the fuse, which means, we're going to put a wire between the two pads. 🤣

    A trace finder is a fine brass bristle brush on one side of your ohmmeter. You lightly brush around until the meter beeps continuity.

    And remember to take out the battery and disconnect the power before you play around or change a screen, then you shouldn't blow up fuses on your computer people 👍

    Another quick fix well executed, missing 19v and 3.3v to screen etc. Fuses are very expensive to buy, always use wire and you can't go wrong... unless you want to protect the circuit with a fuse... 🤔🤣🤣🤣

    for a fuse you can use a wire from a small motor or wall clock coil and test how much current it conduct before blowing up with power supply.

    my way to find hidden tracks on multilayer boards: multimeter to continuity beeping mode, one line to the track i want to follow, the other line i strip a measurement cable (best is fine cable with 100..200 single wires) and use this end like a brush wiping all over the board

    Great video as always, an unrelated question. How do GPS trackers with a remote disable feature work? In work an ex engineer modified a gps tracker to use in our systems. Before we try to change anything i wanted to understand better how the disable function works. (connected to a mainboard directly soldered).

    Jak wstawisz drut zamiast bezpiecznika kolejna osoba naprawiająca laptopa nie będzie miała już tyle szczęścia. Prawdopodobnie uszkodzi się już PCH albo GPU. Zawsze wstawiaj rezystor 0 ohm i pamiętaj o innych. Oni też chcą mieć tyle szczęścia co Ty. 😊

    I have two different laptop of different brand, but they have almost the same problem. Is it incidental that both laptop have the. same related trouble.......blinking screen until the screen becomes black. What is the most possible problem, or where should I focus to troubleshoot?

  • @ch2o2
    @ch2o2 Рік тому

    well done, but aren't you wondering and asking yourself, why these 2 fuses had blown? There must have been a (temporary) big fault which caused this failure which maybe could come again, when the laptop's back at the customer? Well, maybe liquid fault, but who knows..

  • @Flavius-Tech
    @Flavius-Tech Рік тому

    If you ask me, but i am not into electronics, it looks much more simple to replace the fuse from a donor board, it will be fast with a tweezers and hotgun. Then use wire, and be always careful to position of wire.
    You apply few seconds heatgun and it will be so easy to remove and replace.
    But since you are in the electronic field, probably you know which method is more simple.
    I guess, it is harder to find fuses on boards? WIth you experience you should find them so easy.
    Btw as an experiment, next time try both ways and see which is faster?

    • @gorjy9610
      @gorjy9610 Рік тому +1

      It's even more easy to just buy bunch of fuses but main problem is same, you can't know which value is original fuse (you can see that hey only have type marking on them) and it's again guessing game. It may look "more professional" but not any less dodgy than this.
      Wire he use looks huge on screen but it'll just melt at current over 1A probably even faster than real 1A fuse. With errors you can expect with screens being full short it will fork just a same as fuse melting in seconds.

    • @Flavius-Tech
      @Flavius-Tech Рік тому +1

      @@gorjy9610 The value cannot be worse then a thick wire :). For sure it will be microamps, those wire fuses looks too big.

      because the client tried to disconnect the screen without removing the charger/battery. and the fuses did what are supposed to do - protect the circuit from short circuit
