the board was not miswired. you were putting the cable in from the wrong end. Little arrow to little arrow, remember?

How do I change the firmware? I want to use a different LCD for the same board, the LCD has a different resolution.
Don’t need to put firmware .just change the resolution by changing the jumper according your LCD.
