Great video! For many years I consumed so much self help content, and even though it helped me a lot at certain times, deep down it came from beliefs that there is something wrong with me, that I'm not good enough, and self hate. First when I started to practice self acceptance, authenticity and changed these beliefs, I've started to feel better. When I figured out that I don't have to be special, be successful and achieve a lot to be good enough, it really was a game changer. I don't feel guilty because I'm "behind" anymore, and I act out of inspiration instead. And I find joy in the simple things. I still consume self help, but I'm looking for content where it's assumed that you are whole from the beginning.
@@hannemikkelsen607 Thank you for this beautifully written comment. I resonate with everything you said! No amount of self-help content will heal you if you do not have a foundation of unconditional self-love/acceptance, free from shame, social standards/pressures etc. It can feel a bit lonely and scary at first but the freedom and inner peace received in exchange makes it worth it.
I watched the video and then decided to rewatch it while sitting and not walking. Would you say I cheated and watched another self help video? 😅😊 I clicked to watch it cause I deep down was having the same sense of realization albeit in a different experience. Great content, message and well put together. I think you have gone to school for a masters or something.
The algorithm brought me here because my "watch later" list is full of self help and self improvement content 😅 I feel called out... But you're right
@@aingkieu hahahahaha my “watch later” is the same!😭 and the algorithm always calls you out when you need it the most…
This was a great video! Many of the points resonated with me. Thanks so much for talking about this!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it☺

That's a great question. 😂 Given that it's the same info, it should be fine ;)
Thanks a lot for the feedback, much appreciated!
I agree! Especially the downfall and sadness that comes with “I’ve read, listened to books, podcasts” why can’t I feel better? 🥲 keep it up bibi 🩷
