After all the GGD kits I have and countless demos and songs I released, I feel like I got everything I need until you guys come up with another banger of perfectly mixed kit!!! It makes my life sooo easier and I'm so grateful for the OKW series and GGD products. Sounds amazing!
You're really blue ballin me here man I really wanted to hear that cranked snare. I feel like that should be the main selling point for the kit considering it's the only thing (imo) that separates this release from the rest of the OKW lineup. That low tuned loathe style snare is still beautiful but plz just lemme hear the other one in like a dumb slam breakdown or sum I want it so bad.
Bought OKW Metal the day it came out, and haven’t looked back since, but I might feel like this might be the next step in the drum journey. Very amazing kit by all appearances. Great work guys!

As for the push back on the Nu Metal vs. Nu Metal “Resurgence” (which I’m not pressing y’all about), may I suggest making a OKW: Ocean Grove with Sam Bassal? Their record ODDWORLD is the pinnacle of this aesthetic. A guaranteed distinguishing feature could be allowing for the two snares to be interchangeable in their positioning to achieve a traditional and contemporary sounding kit for the genre. Great work from the GGD team as always nonetheless! I’ve got no shortage of ideas, where do I send my résumé? This one is on me 😆🤘🏼
Damn, thats my jam! Any tips on importing the midi grooves in the daw? while played in the sampler, they sound very realistic , velocity wise. as soon i drag the grooves in the daw, the volocitys are maxed out, loosing the realism while played within the sampler.
Absolutely love M&M! Would be interesting to see how Nolly would approach a more generalized big modern rock library now after 7 years. Maybe the fact that it was used on some very big releases tells them that it doesn’t need improving and it probably still sells well.

I’d appreciate a video from nolly that walks through the drum mapping setting with a modern Roland drum kit. I have a TD27KV2 with the fancy digital hi-hats. I cannot for the life of me get the hi hat articulations to trigger like they are supposed to. Steven slate drums and Room Sound plugins take full advantage of my e-kit with correct hi-hat articulation and minimal hassle. The OKW’s are in theory awesome for e-kit jamming and songwriting. They are just harder to get the hi hat to work. It’s keeping me from purchasing more

I've read a lot of the comments on here and I see a lot of people being somewhat on the fence regarding the snare. First off I don't think anyone is wrong here. Nolly explained in the beginning that this is more of a "Modern Nu Metal" sound. If you guys listen to the new Linkin Park album or some of Korn's more modern albums, the snare is not that cranked piccolo we all associate with the 90's early 2000's nu metal era. Naming the library "Modern Nu Metal" or "Nu Metalcore" would had probably made more sense, but again Nolly explained everything in the beginning. He never said this will get you that Abe Around the Fur or Life is Peachy sound. If I was to add something to this library and make everyone happy, would have been to include 3 tuning for the snare. Low - Medium and then high cranked - but again this is a OKW library, not a full fledged GGD one. Don't be surprised if this might turn into something bigger in the future due to high demand and also this OKW has the best quality thus far - then maybe everyone will be happy! Love you GGD

Always end up tweaking stuff instead of playing, And don't get me started on the hi-hat. Ezdrummer and bogrens drum plugins there is no struggle, Just choose the mapping and okay.
It's crazy. I literally just bought this today. Loaded it up... it reads the midi for about 5 seconds and then just completely decimates my audio while playing. All kontakt is up to date. It's the only library that does this to my computer. As soon as I bypass the kontakt insert,audio goes back to normal. It's completely unusable at this point.
Spiritbox is absolutely NOT numetal. Don't rewrite history saying "well, this sounds numetal to me now". Know your music before making subpar sample packs

Are these libraries also a mess to deal with if you are using an edrum? I've been too spoiled with Superior easy plug and play setup.

That snare should be tuned wayyyyy higher.
Does it have Roland mapping ? That's the problem I've had with the other packs.
I just adjust the midi note output of my Roland e kit
It doesn't have a preset but we have a tutorial on our youtube showing you how to easily map an e-kit to your library!

No - our libraries are made for Kontakt and Kontakt Player.
