Paula, I watched a lot of videos looking for clear instructions to do a sewn bind-off and yours, by far, is the best. Can't go wrong with Elizabeth Zimmerman, right? Thanks!
thank you, i actually was wondering how it's done on the stockinette stitch.. and here you are, i've found your video, while i honestly was looking for a video of how to remove (undo) a bind off that was made with a tapestry needle, so, if you have one, please put here the link to it.. thank you in advance..
I found a project I wanted to make and it called for this cast off. I thought it was going to be difficult but this really easy. Thank you for your video!
I just used this for sleeves and it was very helpful! To finish, I just caught my first stitch with my last stitch to complete a purl 2 - then went into the same stich knit wise, and came out the back of the ribbing. Then immediately buried the tail. It is seamlessly perfect! Thank you for the video!
When doing this bind off in the round do you start with the yarn on the right needle or left needle? I've read directions before that say when doing it in the round you need to go back the way you just knit. Thanks!
Knitting and the bird song are lovely. The hat pattern you chose, along with the colors is very nice.
Oh that's a lovely bind off. I've no idea if or when I might use it, but it is just so lovely and fine looking. Thank you for showing us all.
Thank you for explaining this so well. That is one beautiful hat you’ve created, I can only hope to knit that well someday.

Brilliant explanation! Thank you
Thank you. Hurrah for a straightforward, clear and helpful video that tells me what I need to know without any razzmatazz :)
Thank you Paula!! I love it!!
Hello! I found this bind off tuto really helpful. Now, I really love the hat. Do you have a pattern please? Thank you very much!
It’s not fast, but absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much. The hat‘s colours are very pretty! Greetings from Oklahoma
Beautiful hat!!
Thank you so much! I love this bind off, and it looks exactly like the end I started with :)

+Tamra Armstrong That's great! Thanks for your feedback.
Fantastic! Very clear, and I'll definitely be trying it.
Thanks for this! Cant wait to try it 😊
Thanks for the video, very easy to understand. Beautiful hat too!
can't wait to try this and I love your hat!!!!!
Glad you like it. Enjoy!
thank you so much Paula...I've been wanting to learn this and always appreciate a video!
I'm using this for the first time on socks. The progression looks easy enough, but how does one "join" the end to the beginning so it looks good?
I've just continued to the end and finished it like any other bind off. I'm not sure I can describe it further.

Спасибо!!!💐

I've always done it in whatever way it seems natural. I think you could do it either way.
Great thanks!
Gorgeous hat
Thank you, this was very clear. Do you always use the same *k1, p2* sequence regardless of whether you're doing a 1x1 rib, 2x2 rib, etc?
I think you can be more specific to the rib pattern but it works fine this way too.
How do you do the last stitch?
Continue as you have and pull the yarn through the last stitch. I don't know if that helps but I can't think of another way to describe it.
@@Paulaef2009 it does!
