Gentlemen! Thank you for putting this up. I've been ripping my hair out trying to figure out if the 2020 Expy we have is worth actually throwing a small lift and tires on to use for hunting and minor fire roads/light overlanding... This just cinched it - thank you!
The result would have been slightly better. For this model Expedition, the difference between 4A and 4H is the duty cycle on the t-case clutch pack. On 4A, duty cycle varies between ~15% to ~95% depending on rear wheel slippage and throttle input. On 4H or 4L, it's a constant 98%. So there's less torque transfer delay to the front diff.
Why are ALL THE WHEELS not turning at the same time up the hill? You cheated by not turning on proper 4 wheel drive. Had those wheels been powered it would have walked up the hill.
The Expedition in this video does not have lockers for the front and rear differentials. Both are wide open. So having all four wheels spin at the same rate is impossible on this hill crawl test.
Very few vehicles sold in the USA has front and rear locking differentials. So very few vehicles here will ever be able to turn all four wheels at the same time from the factory
@@matthewhayes5221 i own an f150 2015 , beats a lot of cars off-road with just AT tires and fox suspension . i drove many other cars nothing matches the power of the Ecoboost v6
I really enjoyed this review. Nothing beats this Expy. It doesn't look very attractive but this car is exceptional.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!!! It was a lot of fun to drive.
Expedition is awesome!
Would've liked to see the different results in 4hi in comparison. Gol video though.

It sucks in every way. Ford is unreliable and if this offroading is enough for you, then you have no idea what's what.

@booda4barca well my lx 570 has more power and torque, isn't a ford, and beats more than just cars offroad.
