I enjoy... I start biting my nails watching your Expedition climbing... I am in the process of purchasing a used one... I have my F350 4x4, but my truck has never been in anything like that. My truck weights 8k pounds. so its awesome to see that big boy doing crazy stuff... Thank you for sharing.
I trail/crawl my 2001 Expedition stock lift upgraded suspension 10 ply Kenda Klevers and still open Diffs but in 4 lo I've been everywhere here in Northern Nevada. I still like the Solid rear axles on the older Expeditions not a fan of the CV rear axles . I would love to get front and rear lockers for my Expedition just gotta save money for the set. Nice video though love that trail looks challenging.
@@kingdomoverlandinghey where did you get those lockers because i have never heard of a torsen lockers which sre onky locked when the wheels are straight
Always nice to see a fellow Expeditioner - what year is yours? Mine is a '17 but I like the lines of the newer models. Question - looks like a modified front bumper but I didn't spot a winch? Any reason for that or is it just well hidden?
That was awesome. Where is this trail at? I would like to take my excursion out to it. Also saving for a regear and lockers for my truck. Awesome video love seeing it. We are saving up for a timberline right now.
Do you think you had traction control or abs kicking in on that steep uphill where you dug in? The front looked like it was starting to spin and something was pulsing the brakes and stopping the wheels from putting down power. My Raptor didn't do that with the Torsen front diff
For us that just tuned into your channel it would have been nice to say what gear ratio you went to. You stated you were 3.30 but not what you went to.
FAIR and not FAIR in this video,, the black expedition has a much more aggressive tires, which offer much better traction grips than the TOY Tacoma has,,, BUT on the other hand the tacoma is a pick up truck which is built for better off road drive,, the down hill curve driving test on these two vehicles ------ the expedition took a wider turn----too much to the passenger side, that's why the driver front wheel hanging on air,, the tacoma took a more center position and the tacoma is couple inch narrower than the expedition,, no tires hanging on air by tacoma,, going up steep hill, tacoma front bumper hit the up hill curb twice,, maybe the drive line wrong,, the driver should turn the wheel a bit and choose a minor angle line to climb up without scratch hitting the mud rock,,

Next time I come up I want to try the loose rocks and 6’ step! See how the 2 speed transfer case fares.
Yes !! That would be great, and the wider raptor wheelbase

I did not have a winch attached quite yet in this video , but this is a F150 Raptor style bumper 👍🏼
Love the video!
Awesome! Definitely gonna get into some stuff now!
@@kingdomoverlandingwhere can I get those locker
You don't see many ford expedition new and old offroading in UA-cam so this is suprising
Haha yop! Perfect size for the family tho

Heck ya! Those Timberlines are sick , just wish it was like not 80k hahaha
Just some random trail out by Lake Pleasant
@Kingdom Overlanding yea, that's why I don't have one. Sweet i need to get out more. Hope to see you out on the trail sometime.

All the computer stuff should’ve been off , traction control and all that 🤷🏼♂️ who knows
If you've added a snorkel before some kind of locker or lsd you're more show than go
I get that for sure , but the air intake is right in the passenger wheelwell , almost blew up this new engine getting dirt in it
I don't understand what you said can you explain more please
Can we get a video on your rear bumper set up please
Absolutely!
I want to see a Raptor front end body kit for these!
I seen a F-150 Raptor body kit for the smaller Ford Rangers, so someone will do it lol

4:88 🤙 front and rear
@@kingdomoverlandingand are u using ford 9.75 in the rear and ford 8.8 in the front? Pleaseee answer
That expedition needs a low range like badddd
For sure! 2speed t- case is on the list!
That engine sounds terrible.
That's about as negative as my youtube comments get. But dang. Those V6's get good mileage but they sound.... awful.
