Thank you so much for the massive amount of information you provided. I just bought one and was having problems with the liftgate. You explained everything in a detailed and concise manner. I truly appreciate it.
Live in NYC and just rented this vehicle. Did a quick search for a video to familiarize myself with the vehicle before my drive to FL and I am very grateful I came across your video!!!! Excellent job from top to bottom. Your dictation, tempo, thoroughness and complete knowledge of everything you were talking about was above par! I watched this after watching a few of ford's how to videos on their channel and I feel like I've owned this car for years already. Happy New Year (2021) and best of luck.
Thank you for being thorough & your very helpful insights!
Thank you for talking about those features!
Thank you mr. Bartz, for a thorough explanation. 10+
Awesome video and very helpful tips! Thank you and keep up the great work!
Great info thank you! Loving my 2019 Limited, love my sunroof!
Bought a 2018 Limited a couple of weeks ago. We love it! Your videos have been awesome in showing me the features and functions! Thanks very much!
Great info, thanks so much for making these videos.
Great walk around. You showed us a lot of helpful features.👍
Sports Mode - I found it is useful at going downhill road at around 30-40 mph. It nicely activates engine brake, so I do not need to step on brake often. When I go up on the hilly road, I put into Sports Mode, and that is working good for on my way down the hill.
We just received our Expedition XLT and this well-done video is very helpful.
Thank you! For the last week, I have been trying to figure out the lift gate because the light kept coming on and I’d have to shut it hard. Super helpful video!
Great tips! Very informative without the technical garb in plain English. Thank you!! I'm planning to buy a 2022 Expedition when I get back from temporary deployment in December.
That was really great, didn't really know what settings were available . Thank you!!
Bunch of help and info 👌🏾👍🏾 thanks a bunch
Awesome information, thank you so much!😉
These videos are amazing! I knew more than the salesperson when I went to the showroom :-) Keep up the great work!
Was
Just bought a 2019 and I love it but the whole kick to open the tail gate had me. I’ve learned to aim a little toward the right and it usually works. Definitely a learned kick 😂. These videos have been very helpful!
Great job, thank you.
Thank you for the video 👍🏻❤️
Very Amazing video Things that are good to know Thank u
Nice job. Very Informative
Great video! Thank you!
Thank you, i learned a lot about my 2018 expedition i didn't know. Didn't know about any of the 7 things you described. Thank you again and i will be watching for more info.
Thanks so much! Just bought a 2021 and I had no idea how much it can do!
Excellent information thx 🙏
Great info, just got one too, Thanks!
Think this video helped me solidify my choice between this and the yukon
Excellent video, I own the 2020 Expedition Platinum. I wasn’t aware of the lift gate adjustment or precisely how to activate the kick lift gate. The fine tune instrument cluster demonstration was extremely helpful. Thank you, great presentation!
And this will prevent lift gate from hitting garage door when unloading it. (not just for short people!)
It was wonderful I didn’t know so much I have a 2018,limited 4x4 I have subscribed thank you
Thanks for this!!! Got one and couldn’t figure anything out
Thanks for the information
We have an Expedition, and love it. Thanks for the Great tips.
Does yours have DVD players?
Great video thank you.
Excellent presentation!!!
Settings and advanced settings pointers were great!
Thanks Sir. best regards from the Netherlands
Great info!
I really did learn more from you than the dealer I bought my 2020 xlt max. I need to try the lift gate. Do you recommend to use a luggage carrier for long trips?
Great video for my 19 limited. What is the button behind the four wheel drive selector do. It's a P with lines?
This is a great video and I need to watch one about the Ford Explorer too.
I am having a dyf virtual tour today at 4 pm this is very helpful.
Great video I love my FX4 XLT
Great informations
Thanks for the info, bought a used 2020 Expedition from our local Ford dealership in Minnesota and they really didn't show us anything, I will be showing this video to my wife!
Learned a lot about expedition from your video. Wish you were closer to Florida.
great details. thanks for putting this together! All the tailgate info was fantastic for us.
Great video!
Very informative 👌👌
Just bought one with 40k miles on it. Love it!
Tailgate info is very helpful
Good info.
We just purchased a 2020 Platinum and really enjoy it. A couple things that I have noticed are that I like the response while driving in eco mode. However, when the vehicle is turned off, it goes back into normal mode, so have to remember each time to change it. Also, setting the cruise control requires moving my hand off of the steering wheel and watching which buttons to hit. Other vehicles that we have owned are more intuitive.
Great video
Great Video.
My family is strongly considering a 2018 Ford Expedition Limited and I’m taking the time to learn as much as possible before we buy one. This is a very helpful and in depth video. Thanks!
prob the most informative video ive ever seen
Gosh I need this thing with 4 kids but that price tag 😭 so nice, love the middle seat being able to slide so close to the parents!
I am still learning about my platinum trim expedition. I love love love the way this vehicle handles! Even if it didn’t do all this cool stuff, I would still love it! My husband wanted to buy me a new car and I said , “NO WAY!”
I just picked up a 2021 with the FX4 package. The Limited was nice but I can never find one with the FX4.
Very informative since I do have 5 kids who are very soon to be teenagers & and I was skeptical about getting captains chairs or bench. Another thing, growing up in my parents’ 02 F150, my father would always pull over & put the truck in PARK to activate the 4x4 (not the button, it’s a long throw 4x4 shifter from the floor) I now have that truck and what I would do is, while driving, I would put the truck in NEUTRAL, pull the 4x4 shift into play and I would put the truck from NEUTRAL into DRIVE. Am I doing it correctly and how do I go about using that 4x4 in 2019 Expedition Max?
Sounds like on your truck you are correct. On the expedition you can just press 4A button don't need to stop or take it out of drive
That's really helpful. Thank you. And i got a question, is there any way i can disable backup alarm. since i installed bike rack. the backup alarm always makes big noise when i swatch the gear to backup .
There should be a reverse sensing disable when you put it into reverse
Great information on Ford Jeep 🚙 Colonel Jamal from dubai 😊
They never talk about the ambient lighting. But it's a good review.
Lol 😆 all these tips are so true. Salesman just want to hurry and sale. Luckily I knew all those features. Since I'm an auto hauler.
Thank you. What the heck is the thing next to the start button for? Quarters?
Just got an expedition. This is full of great tips. Thank you!
It sounds like there are a lot of crappy sales people.
Hey, thinking about trading in a junk Tahoe, how do you like this vehicle so far? It’s been 3 years.
Thanks perfect
Excellent presentation. pls shine or buff your shoes sir. Have a good day. I have 09 EL XLT..Top notch vehicle.
Can the middle row middle seat be removed to create captains row feature?
"We do free shipping"
As I watch here in the Philippines. 🤔😁
Just kidding. I got one last week and have enjoyed your videos both before and after the purchase.
Hi have you noticed any difference in the bls system my 2015 had a much greater sensivity than my new 2020. I had a vehicle along side and did not indicate that it was there. I know that the turn signal had to be on but still did not like the fact that it is less sensitive than my 2015 expedition. Any comments
Auto Stop eliminator is well worth the money. One of the first things I got for my 19.
I just had performance tuning done. Lol has 468 to the wheels and got rid of the stupid auto start feature.
I really enjoyed the video. I learned a few things that I didn’t get shown at the dealership when I got my 2018 Ford expedition Limited. I recently had an envelope and my bank debit card slide across the console and down into a crevice I believe and I’m trying to find out how I could possibly retrieve it. I didn’t watch the video thinking that I would learn how to get it but I’m wondering if you might look at this comment and be able to help me out. I don’t know if this is something that I could do myself or not. The cover that it slid over was where the two USB ports are and where you lay your phone to charge so it’s slid between that and where all of the climate control knobs are. Thanks so much for the video and for all the different things that I learned. I’m really gonna try again to make the hatch open with my foot I’m just not mastered that yet.
your best bet would be to take it to the dealership. if its the crevice im thinking about, they may need to remove a panel to retrieve it
hi I am Abdullah from kuwait and I like your very helpful videos . I have a question that now can answer it so I am trust in you to give me the answer .
so I have 2020 ford expedition limited stealth edition if the battery is totally dead how to move the rotary shifter to Neutral ?
thanks
Is the 4 wheel drive expedition any higher off the ground than the 2 wheel drive?
Are the 2018 and up also made from aluminum like the F150’s
Are these on the 2021 Expedition Max Limited as well?
Thanks for the tips, just pickup 2023 expedition, still looking for the block heater plug in location, could you help?
It should be located in the Grille area or under the Grille.
Hi, I own a 2018 XL Max and this one doesn’t have the console that goes in between the front seats. Do you know where I can get it and what specifications should I take into account when ordering it? (I live outside US). thanks!
Great video, thank you very much! You have perfect kicks for the rear gate operation! I am impressed the perfect success rate of your kicks. I need to practice it... After driving my Expedition for one year, I finally figured out the solution, which is putting my feet into the spot as shown, and waving my feet left-right at the spot. It works for me better than the in-out motion, for some reasons.
I used the rear gate height adjustment because in my garage I park head in and the depth of garage is just about the length of the car, and when opening the rear gate, the surface can hit the bottom of the garage door. I do not want to damage the paint, so I adjusted the height, and I can open the gate safely after parking the car, loading on / off the stuffs at the luggage space. Very good feature.
So I have not gotten the rear gate kick down yet!! I’m pretty sure this was a set up so someone can video me and get a good laugh..... maybe I’ll try the spot and go left and right 🤷🏼♀️
@@andriaholbert5462 Good luck! You will get it! My success rate (by waving feet) is about 95% now. I cannot make it 100%. That 5% failure is still mystery; no matter how many times I kick in-out or waving left-right, the car does not react, it gets so stubborn occasionally.
I like to pretend I'm kicking a soccer ball. Sometimes I end up making contact but it does work.
@@BlendedFamilyMan Thank you for good suggestion! I am trying it next time.
@@takaokutsu2980 One more hack: Kick straight in, tap the spare tire with your toe, bring the foot straight out.
Just waiting for Ford to put this on a HD frame with a 6.7 powerstroke! We like our 2018. Miss my 05 Excursion.
I had on the eco mode on my expedition and I think I hit 23-25 mpg
We have a 2021 Platinum and cannot find the Seatbelts setup to let us know if passengers have buckled up their seatbelts. The Owners Manual discusses it but when we go to Vehicle Information tab on the productivity screen it is not there, even though the Owners Manual shows it! Can you please advise us? Thank you.
I rented a truck from a rental company, with the auto start and stop. I had the A/C working and the engine stopped at a red light. Before the light changed the motor started to allow the A/C to stay at the temp I set it for. So the auto start and stop will come back on if the room temp. changes enough for the car or truck detects the change.
Watched both expodiotion videos and watched to say thanks . I think we're getting one soon and was wondering how the 4wd auto works and if all 4 wheels get traction? We drive in the snow alot and just want to make sure its going to work for us
As described by Ford: Set-and-forget function provides four-wheel-drive capabilities when needed, under normal road conditions, most power is sent to the rear wheels, power is delivered to the front wheels, as required, for increased traction, setting is appropriate for all on-road driving conditions. You will also have a 4L setting for off road situations.
@@longmcarthur so I guess the question is in a snow storm will it lock all 4 wheels with equal power to pull up hills or lock front wheels in when on the brakes down hills in snow mode?
XLT also has foot activated tailgate as part of one of the option packages. Mine has it. Great video though!
Well thank you sir! I didn't know my back glass opened...lol
Hi, thanks for the useful video, On the drive mode I select the econo mode but after re=starting the car it won't stay in that mode so I have to re-select it. Is there any way to keep it selected it on that mode? what's the default driving mode? normal? thanks
It will always default back to normal on each engine cycle.
I was in a 2020 expedition and it was the nicest car I’ve ever been in. I found that when having a little kid in the middle second row seat, it was actually best to have it moved all the way back because my little brother was able to touch the volume controls with his foot and there is unfortunately no way to disable the rear volume controls ( at least that I could find )
Do you have a similar video for 2017? Trying to force my power running boards to stay out regardless of speed.
I do not but if you go into your settings then either vehicle or advanced settings/vehicle, look for running boards.
While my salesperson was more than helpful when I purchased my Santa Fe Ultimate, I learned most of the quirks and features by just sitting in a parking lot and going through the menus in an orderly manner!
Can you adjust the number of times your signal blinks when you tap the turn signal stalk?
No, that can't be adjusted
The power lift gate and the rotary dial shifter are a pain in the ASS! So is the auto start/stop. Good thing I tuned that out of mine. And shut off most of the automatic features.
Good Video, Informative. Just, you might want to give a Table of Contents in the beginning to know what you were going to cover thoughout the video. .
There is timestamps in the video description.
This guy reminds me of ken Marino from WANDERLUST.. “IN MY OWN HOUSE!!” 😂😂😂
Protect this man at all cost 💜
My center console cup holders collapsed into the console. How do you get them back up.
Does the limited expedition have daytime driving lights?
Do you have video on 2023 Expedition? SALES people here are lost with all the features
I rented a limited max this weekend and put 1000 miles on it going from San Diego, las vegas, and los Angeles. Absolutely loved it, however it's a bit minor. I noticed when android auto was on. You lose the ability to see the outside temperature. I could only see it on the infotainment center when android auto was off. Not the end of the world, but disappointing. Totally recommend this truck for families and long road trips. The biggest con for this truck is the price tag. The limited model roughly sells out here for $80k! Even as is, the Exped definitely is not a $80k vehicle. I'd like to pay around $50k at most for a mid level trim truck.
