How do u isolate the subwoofers when testing the spl? Or is it playing thru the mids too?
The mids actually are playing. but they are buffered at a certain volume, unlike the output to the amps.
Have you heard of Hawker AGM Batteries?
so do you charge your ultra capacitor at 6 volts or 12 volts?
This capacitor it's simply connected and it would do all of it's own charging internally with its software.
So for a system with just two 12s at 1000 wats rms what kind of other upgrades would I need to do???

I have 2 evls wired @2 ohm and an evl @1 ohm @ bout 2500w voltage drop was in my whip as well, installed a 240 amp alt a second agm giving me 190 ah that still wasn't stable enough so I ran another 1/0 gauge and 2 more good grounds AND THEN bought a xspower 630 farad superbank, voltage is now stable af at 14.3, I have to start clipping bad before itll go into 13. I bout when the exous route but research said I'd get more out of the sb630. None the less this shit takes alot of cheddah, bumpin ain't cheap if you doing it right yo!

Hey BBH, I've got a request for a future video as I have a second car. Its a Modded Celica GTS TRD that Id like to keep peppy, saving on system overall weight and still use the stock 110amp alt, Big 3, with a smaller up front AGM and a SMS80 in the trunk. Would 2 EVL 8's, 3 SDR 8's, or one 15" VXF beat harder on a SKV21500.1 if the subs are in their recommended enclosure sizes? The video request is "Would multiple 8's be better than one 15", even if the 15 is "higher end"?"
The 15 would have 308cu.in. of cone area vs 223cu.in of cone area of the 3 eights. Plus the 15 would have 2wice the X-Max; which equals more moving mass, with more linear travel. The 15 would get louder, though the eights would combine more motor force. 366oz to 300 of the 15. But in that competition, cone area is king.

I was able to burp a 153.2 db at 38hz on a synergy 2k amp and two american bass 15s in one of my custom boxes tuned at 31.5 hz after displacement of the subs the box was originally tuned at 28 hz and oh ya it was in a explorer 5.0 eddie bauer edition suv but then my engine blew up and had to sell everything and the suv so now I got a Hyundai santa fe with a skar vvx v3 8 in a skar armor 8 box and a gothic 12 in a attend bbox on a razor 2500.1 at 1 ohm and it actually sounds good and gets pretty loud prolly around a 138-140 ish(at a good burp) lol but it dose sound good and low right around 30 hz to 40hz anything else kind of sucks comparing to my old compitition setup

Could you just swap the pulleys on the alternators so you can use the same belt?
Anytime I have to swap pulleys I get nervous due to misalignment issues that may occur. Not to mention to pull some pulleys is very very tiresome.
Mech man is great. I went with Singer alternator Mike singer is the man. Mechman customer service was a dickhead. Great tips brotha. A lot of people need to hear that lol.

My passenger location likes this setup better for some reason. I think its naturally reflecting into the kick. It sounds louder in the driver side while facing to trunk though. I just hate all the rattle.

Buddy Have 4(12s)compsubs,(2) classD amps 10,000 watts, (2) compactors,factory alternator, (1)fully electric battery (for vehicles that have power windows, power mirrors etc) and my headlights dont blink my friend, my friend, I aint blowing no smoke but alot in that video isn't needed , way to much money being spent,my set up can be heard 3 to 4 miles out!! FRfr🤞🏽
Not every electrical system is the same. Factory alternators are only design to supply power for the stock electrical with about a 5-15% overhead, after that, you're taxing your battery. And adding extra batteries only give the stock alternator more work to do. Anything over 2,000 watts require an upgrade to stock electrics. If you have 10,000 Watts on a stock alternator, without issues... Good for you.
Be sure to use an OVERdrive pulley if using a high-output alternator.

Some people have no alternator to upgrade I have a hybrid that has a voltage converter hooked to the 270v hybrid battery and I have 15.4 volts for days and days but I'm limited on amps I can draw prob around 150a I think. Does that make sense? 15.3 volts constant but only a certain amount of amps I can draw? I think I need a 500a 270v to 15v converter if someone can build one because I have a 270v generator ran by the gas engine so I can make power for days

@@bassbrother101 I have a 25ah limitless lithium battery and 2 80 ah agms and I have a 16v bank of maxwell boost caps on the way running 2 savard HiQ 12s on an orion hcca 3000.1dsplx and it beats im just taxing that voltage converter hard I think but idk I see people taking them camping and running a/c and fridges and heaters off of them on 120v converters and it hasn't failed me yet

Can you make a video explaining how the battery amperage draw sensors in today’s cars work. Do you run your amps negative cable thru the sensor ring? Is there a way to bypass the sensor so that the alternator works full time keeping the battery charged at all time?
You are the first to ask me this. And its a thing I've been very annoyed by since installing into this car. I think its all programmed from the factory to save gas by periodically reducing RPM. Which is good, unless you have a system like ours. I don't want to give you advice that may break your electrical system, but think the computer senses a particular amperage draw threshold with the sensor and goes into a safety mode called 'Battery Savor' or something like that. I had many warnings when running my alt ground wire through it(alone). So I removed the after market ground from it (back to Stock Ground) and no more 'battery save' warnings. But I'm fearing not the full current I need for my system either.
@@BudgetBassHead my understanding is that the sensor is always measuring amperage draw and makes the alternator not work as hard when not needed. I managed to squeeze in a 0 gauge, 4 gauge, and a 8 gauge ground thru the sensor ring. I run my amps ground directly to the battery since my battery is in the trunk. Can the sensor detect multiple ground cables amperage draw at the same time? Who knows..
@@raulfernandez9111 the sensor ur talking about is a vcm voltage control module u have to run the ground from the battery to the ground on the alternator is what I did and ran 2 bigger wires from my alternator to my battery and to the wiring harness all 0 ofc wires got 300 amp alternator 3 lead acid batteries holding up to 2 3500 1 D skar amps and 4 12s evl skar subs full tilt never below 13.6
