Maaaaaan, what a compliment. I really appreciate that. That is the reason I do the videos. Good luck and if I can help you with anything call or text me.
Steve do you ever spec the Neway suspension on your heavy spec trucks I've been running it on mine great suspension and nice to see you did something other than white on your heavy haul lot truck
Some folks think old school. But, cost is always a factor. If I'm not mistaken, I think they run about $1,500+ more than the drums. They are cheaper in the long run, though, due to low maintenance and less downtime. And, of course, they are safer with a shorter stopping distance.
Frank is correct but since a truck like this wont see near as many miles (usually) as a sleeper truck the drums are fine. Also this truck could be off road in mud and rock and that is not an ideal situation for rear disc brakes.
I work for a heavy haul company in Central Wisconsin and all our new trucks have disc brakes. We are in and out of quarry's all the time mud, sand, dirt all that stuff and never a problem with damaging the brakes.
I agree with it being a ridiculous law but it’s the reality here in Oklahoma. I was just thinking about that today and how we need to start a petition to reverse the law. It’s really more dangerous if you ask me. If you blew a bag on your drive axles you could easily lose control going around a corner with the front end.
Do you currently have a Couple Trucks like this In Stock? Looking for 4 or more with Identical Specs (250-265" WB) Trucks and then 2 or more 3 Axle (220-240" WB) Trucks used for hauling the Fall Off Loads that will Accompany the 4 - Heavy Haul 4 Axle Trucks. If this something that you have In Stock Let Me Know.
littlepaw1969 that’s exactly what I’m doing, sitting in front of a computer doing my first real semi edit with my new software, starting off slow, no need in shocking everyone all at once.
you might not even realize it but you drop so many little tidbits of rig knowledge in every video thats why I watch, just got my CDL last month

Thanks man, I know who to contact if I become an owner/operator thats for sure! You do such a great job on specs.

Thanks, the white gets boring. The few Nu-ways I have done have really performed quite well
Curious why no disc brakes in the rear? I imagine this truck is gonna haul some serious weight

Matt Lefebvre what do you see for the life of disc brakes running heavy haul?
Bonito 389 steve buen día quiero uno esta navidad
Mira bajo tu árbol si has sido un buen chico ...
Not having the lift axle control in the cab seems downright silly. I presume the state you're in requires it?
need power steer pusher axle. its not the 60s anymore :D
I agree but it is law. The nonsteer is what the local market asks for, I agree I would rather have a steerable

Hi Steve does this truck have a wide track axle?

"so all you rookies can calm down" - my favorite line from one of your recent vlogs
Any special frame specs on this heavy hauler, also why the short hood considering it necessitates little clearance between engine and firewall?
