A work light under each side door of headache rack on that angle would be nice.....just as a work light or hooked up to reverse lights..... would light up the sides of trailer nicely 👍🏻
Nice looking ride!!! May I make a suggestion for one of your next custom trucks for a paint scheme?? 2 tone scheme. Legendary Black/Fire Orange. Fire Orange frame and tanks. That be a sweet design in my opinion.
One other thing why aren't you guys designing a split window for that 589!! It would look so much better!! And if you get a chip and a crack,it's so much easier and cheeper to chang one piece of glass thrn the hole thing!!! If anyo e can do you guys can!!! So get on it and I'll think about ordering one !!! 😅😂 just say'n!!!
@@ANDREASRIAL Okay. I suppose among the hills of the Northeast driving 56 mph max when over 80,000 lbs and loaded 45% of the time, I would expect up to 7 mpg (?)
It looks great I just don’t understand the appeal of a square hood huge sleeper heavy haul truck. If you’re 10-13 axles you’re pulling 85’ of trailer already your goal should be to get the tractor as small as possible. I run a T880 with the 40” flat top 246” wheelbase, super maneuverable even with 85’ of trailer behind me. but my ideal set up would be the 567 set back axle with the 48” mid roof.
@@scottycollins1829resale doesn’t mean much if you’re pulling heavy haul. Empty weight is 77k loaded weight is 150-200k you’re lucky if the engine lasts 500k before needing a rebuild the trans and diffs suffer too. I’d never buy a used heavy haul rig.
How come you guys don't go with a longer shifting lever!!! I see the other's are the same way,i think it's about the only thing you guys looked over!! I no as a trucker my self, the stock shifting levers are to short!!! And they really raise hell with your sholder that short!!! And with them a little bit taller, they shift much easier!!! I mean im not talking a 5-6 footer!!!But just like a foot,or foot and a half or so !!! Just say'n!!!!
A work of rolling sculpture! Magnificent!
Your company does a beautiful job. God bless you and everyone that works for you.
Beautiful craftsmanship. That is the specs I would require. You knock it out of the box
I like the steps between the fenders.
Looks like a daily driver contender for Mid-West Truck Show! Love everything about this rig.
Going to be some happy drivers when they get their new rides!
A thing of beauty! Can I afford it? No, but still respect and appreciate.
Cool color! Very unique

Another killer build, Steve!!!!
The new trucks are growing on me
Good!

Good Looking rig. There was talk that Pete was going to drop painted frames. I assume that is not the case,
Still an option

Great built steve 👌👌
Thank you buddy
@@SteveCarbone you always come thru. Too bad you don’t built Kenworth W900L
Price on this unit?
I like that color combo
Mr Peterbilt Steve,,,,, do U carry the wider bumpers. There 2" -4" wider on than stock 96"
Why don’t you do some lower shift fenders. I don’t like those short ones.
Customer gets what the customer asks for
Like the brown
How about a custom windshield, doors, analogue gauges, old dash, different headlights, chopped ceiling without funking up the chassis, etc
Ohhh you mean an entirely different truck lol
Just got to have great credit..
When will they come out with an extended hood version
This is a long hood 589
@@SteveCarbone sure looks shorter than the 379 and 389
@michaelmorgan5303 the 389s have longer hoods than this failure
What a beauty!
Beautiful truck!!!

What's the wheelbase on this tractor??
Only big money companies placing orders. 5 axle 1 truck guys aren’t
Not true, delivering entry level 4 axle trucks weekly
If my count is right that makes 5 589 heavy hauls for Southern Transport . Is it 5 ? Is there more on the line ?

What kind of fuel mileage for the 605/2050 X15?
Depending on the load and the way you drive

No super tight spots where these are going
Most ppl Luv the bigger sleepers!!!!! Plus BETTER RESALE VALUE with long hoods classic style K-DUBBS & PETES LARGECARS

Nothing says quality like an air leak on a brand new truck.
