Trust Love is a dark warning. It works similar to a Greek Chorus of warning the main characters of an awful event that will occur should they not follow a given path, and either the chorus is purely for the audience's benefit (as it is here) or ignored by the main characters. No characters "trusts in love". Ruby did not trust Ironwood, leading to a downhill spiral near the end. Ironwood's trust had strings attached, Ruby treated her time in Atlas as a Huntress as if she was in a fairytale until Tyrian's attack, then it was too late to push back against the machinations at play. The Ace-Ops did not "trust in love", they trusted in their own abilities, even Clover, who had become close to Qrow put duty above trust, leading to his death. Without trust in that trying period, it took one well placed Queen to put the King in check.
"I know the dark's returnin', the fires of hate are burning, but the lies can't hide what's true when love's alive!" That's such a beautiful message, I wish more people in the real world would take it to heart. The world could always use a bit more love.

I along with a lot of other people care about your mental and all other healths first and foremost rather than the videos we enjoy from you. Always put yourself first. I've come to realize this is about the themes of the show in General. Its about confronting the issues of the world and how the world isn't a fairy tale while also refusing to give into hate and Cynicism
I’m getting back into rwby after being disconnected from it since volume 6, and it’s been such a joy!! Initially I couldn’t really get back into it because I’d always be reminded of someone dear to me that I’d had to part from - they’d introduced me to rwby back during volume 4, and both them plus rwby has been dear to me ever since. This channel was what we’d listen to & binge rwby music 😭😭 but yeah!! these comments are so very sweet
When I first saw the opening I was like "Oh, they changed the singer" but when I found out it's the same one, I realized how much she's grown and improved. Incredible, on par with Hayley Williams in my opinion.
Volume 7 will always hold a very special place in my heart. It was the first one I watched when it was new, and being effectively in the dark throughout meant that I didn't know what was going to happen. And Trust Love is the cherry on top for being a fantastic opening to a fantastic season

Probably, Trust Love is my favorite song in all of RWBY. They sounds so cheerful and reflects the main idea of the vol. 7. I love her, she seems to give light in my life and make me smile even when i'm sad. Trust Love guys, and she wil trust you too.

I like to think that this Line wants to say that the Realisation for Ruby that Penny is alive gave her the strength to fight even if it seems hopeless after the reveal of the last volume. However, the wording in "When love's alive!" also warns that all of Ruby's strength lasts only as long as Penny stays alive.
I kinda love how each of the openings got gradually darker and more ominous, and then turned around to be more hopeful, and in hindsight this intro feels more like a sarcastic taunt than a supremely uplifting song about being there for eachother.

Volume 7 is one of the best seasons of RWBY, top form stuff, so glad I stuck with this show (not that I ever thought about leaving of course)

I kinda love how each of the openings got gradually darker and more ominous, and then turned around to be more hopeful, and in hindsight this intro feels more like a sarcastic taunt than a supremely uplifting song about being there for eachother.
Who else just can't watch this without hearing the cacophony of 12 Arnolds in their head before the lyrics start?
