The difference in Casey’s voice is like night and day. It blossomed from the sweet bud to a beautiful rose. Complete with it’s thorns for that shout line.
“I’m what inspires the fairytale” makes me feel like all of these characters will end up Like Oz and Salem, eventually being the in universe true stories that inspired the fairytales we know, rather than the other way around.
I like that it shows how Ruby has moved from wanting to be just like Summer, to now being able to forge her own path, splitting off from Summer's and hopefully being more successful than she was in ultimately defeating Salem. While Part 1 established that Summer is gone, Part 2 reveals Ruby's goal is to be just like Summer (while Summer wishes for her to not wind up with her own fate), and the abandonment Ruby feels with the attachment to Summer. In Part 3, you can see the evolution from this to Ruby splitting off, as at the beginning Ruby looks for Summer to guide her, and by the end she has recovered her resolve, determined that she's not going to be exactly like her mother (especially after she learns how she saw Summer was idealized instead of reality), and guide her own way. She'll become her own fairytale instead of a chapter of Summer Rose's tale What I want to see come of this, is Ruby being able to fight harder, and win more often against human opponents, like Mercury and whoever they bring in to replace Emerald and Neo on Salem's side (if they bring anyone, because it would be interesting to see that in her drive to eliminate everything, Salem isolates herself and drives off a lot of her support. In turn, Salem just thinks that she doesn't need anyone at this point, and can just do it all with Grimm, thus not replacing her losses). I don't want her to be magically overpowered because she was in the tree or something, but as the fight against the Cat showed, she has some of her old style back, and with it the ability to adapt and overcome intelligent and strong opponents (because let's face it, part of her problem was expecting that her opponents would take hits like Grimm do, and not being able to handle dodging and counterattacks). I suppose the superpower she gains from the tree, if anything, would be that resolve to forge her own way and defeat Salem for once and for all.
If they do bring in another villain, I am placing my bets on it being Carmine from the books. She's a force to be reckoned with, was in Vacuo for two books, is still at large, and will do whatever it takes to survive.
That was one of the main themes of volume 9. We got to see exactly how much pressure she was under by her own expectations of what she should've been (been like Summer) and how it was tearing her up. We also saw the inner conflicts of all the characters who fell, but Ruby's was the most focused.
Red Like Roses is complete for now, but I'm predicting we'll get one last part in the series finale. Part 1 establishes the legend of Team RWBY, Parts 2 and 3 are the arc of Ruby's identity in relation to her mother, and so I imagine Part 4 would mirror Part 1 in being about the team, how far they've come, and how their legend will live on. Parts 1 and 2 are the beginning of Ruby's heroic tier, and Part 3 is the culmination of her paragon tier, so Part 4 will be the culmination of her epic tier. It will be at once a return to the beginning and a transcendence to the ideal.
if there is a part four i really hope it flows into/from part three like how part two really did feel like a continuation to part one. then it would make a nice pair of double-songs where one is where ruby realizes the world isn't as kind as she thought/hoped and potentially one where ruby realizes it's okay that the world is cruel because she and her friends can be the light for others to find their way [and of course help each other and themselves out]
@@kallistiravenhurst5232I agree. I was really hoping the transition into part 3 would be as seamless as the transition into part 2. I think it was because Jeff wrote part 2 like that on purpose (obviously) and Casey went and wrote part 3 more in her style. It would've been nicer to have a longer intro that then transitioned into how part 3 is. It would've been more poetic in not only the message and feel of the song, but also the passing of the torch from dad to daughter as score composer.
@@everettbernsen46 If you cut the first minute or so out you get to a section that really does meld seamlessly into part 2. That first section doesn't fit with part 2 because it's written to fit into Volume 9 first and foremost, not to come directly after part 2. That being said, you could edit your own version that starts at 9:46 and it would fit pretty well.
@@RichardBaylis-qs6te but I feel like that would be unjust to the song. It isn't whether or not it could fit, but rather that it wasn't meant to fit. No doubt Casey could've written it in such a way, but she didn't. To take the so g and change it in such a way that removes a large portion doesn't change the fact that it wasn't written to be seamless. On its own, part 3 is a masterpiece, but even though the transition isn't very smooth, I don't think it would be as good if part of the song was removed.
Hearing the intro to Red Like Roses pt 1 in pt 3, but redone in a way that changes it from mystical and light, to hopeful and promising was a fucking genius move, and integrated into the episode so well
One aspect I think is missing in the conversation surrounding this trilogy is how one can easily tell the differences between Cassey and Jeff both as musicians and as main producers for the soundtrack. It's undeniable that Cassey was influenced by her father, but you can tell how different their approaches are just by listening to this songs back to back. I may no longer be a fan of RWBY as a whole, but one thing no one can complain about is that the soundtracks for each volume have been great, and I think that, if there ever are new volumes of RWBY (and thus new Volume Soundtracks), Cassey will continue to be a great producer and musician. If anyone that likes this hasn't check her band Ok Goodnight yet, I seriously recommend it.
It’s a good song for sure and Casey is a talented song writer, but honestly aside from the opening and Checkmate none of the songs feel like “RWBY” songs. Even this one. Like, I’m sure I’ll get used to the switch in styles as time goes on but many of these just feel like Ok, Goodnight songs they threw on a RWBY soundtrack.
@Savannah_Simpson I do agree that RLR3 and other new songs have a more OK Goodnight feel, due to the songs being a reflection of the artists personal styles. (Not Jeff Williams). However, it feels a bit diminishing to say it's songs they just "threw" onto this soundtrack.
@@Savannah_Simpsonawake, used in vol 8, was the most RWBY-like Ok Goodnight song so far, and one of my favorite songs from RWBY. Pt 3 is much more ethereal than pts1 and 2, which is why there's such a jarring difference, especially in the transition, where it sounds like it just cuts to a different song. Whereas the transition from 1 to 2 is seamless. If they had a longer Intro and didn't lead with the swooping, reverby vocals but saved it for the middle of the song, or at least made a better lead up, it would've meshed better and sounded more natural. I think the issue is part 2 was written to be a continuation of part 1, cause Jeff wrote both, but Casey was trying to make it more her style than continue it off here dad's style. It's still really good, I just wish there was a better transition from 2 to 3.
@@Savannah_Simpsonthat’s the point though Casey said it was meant to be different from her dad and the fact that the girls went through a journey to find themselves even neo is going to change
Feels like it's going to be a quadrilogy at least. Guide My Way feels more like a journey than the conclusion. She has just found her way out of the fairy tale she trapped herself in, where heroes are always perfect and never lie, cheat or lose. Now she needs to find herself properly and also finish the task she has set before her.
I think everyone is kinda missing the fact that RWBY music is a story in and of itself. The first one is obviously the weakest story wise but you can infer character from the wide open sounds, then in part 2 it becomes more cramped and internal because of her conflicting with her own self image and when her arc is finally made whole the song has more closed off and cramped sounding instruments, she loses the happy fairy tale feelings the first had because she now sees the world for what it is. She finally learns the weight behind what she said in I think volume two about being the people who make sure OTHERS can live their happy fairy tale lives. She realises she isn't a hero, she is a huntress. And her stuff becomes more focused and cramped. It's also synthetic because of penny and her connection to this conflict of self.
That's the best part of the soundtrack as a whole, it's all the characters canon thoughts during the show. Instead of internal monologs, they gave it to us through the soundtrack.
@@HoplessNihilistI think black trailer had that pretty prominently, considering the song was basically a narration of what was happening, and the full version goes into more Blake's thoughts on what she was doing.
@@everettbernsen46 I think the entirety of volume 7 did a great job at it as well. Trust Love and Touch the Sky being the team's hopefulness going in and the fact that they were happy for the first time in years. Then Ironwood's ego shown through Hero, one of the traits that would ultimately turn him villain. War being a great demonstration of team RWBY's emotions during their fight with the Ace Ops. Then Fear, dang does that song have at ton to unpack about Oscar and Ironwood.
The worst part is, it would flow together so well if it weren't for the prelude. If part 3 just started and the 9:33 mark, it would have been so much smoother.
It took almost a decade... The trilogy is now together. And perhaps we'll get a fourth and final song when RWBY comes to its finale. Decade of memories with the RWBY series is hitting hard with all these foreboding "the end of the series is nigh" from RoosterTeeth. Less than four volumes left, I reckon.
If rumors are true, were going to at least get to volume 12. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I stumbled upon a supposedly leaked storyboard snippet from volume 12. Like I said, it's just rumors, but I'd like to think it's more likely than not. This series is one of the best shows as a whole out there, and I'm excited to see what happens next.
@@hamstersandwich9917 With how things are going at RT atm, if they were smart they'd end at 12. I also can't see them spending more filler Volumes getting back to Vale or something
@@ChangedMyNameFinally69 that, and also, there's really not much to be tackled at Vacuo. Most of the lingering and interesting plot points were pretty much ended with Atlas. The White Fang and general Faunus stuff stopped being relevant with Mistral, and any major opposition died with the SDC (Vacuo and Vale seem pretty chill). There's no villains with motives tied to Vacuo like Watts, Hazel, or Cinder (at most there's Qrow's beef with Tyrian). There is nothing interesting about Theodore (that we know of) that can hold 3 volumes like the others. The summer maiden might aswell be sign saying "free powers here" given the show's track record. Legit Vacuo will be mostly reunions and battle. The only reason I suggest the idea of going back to Vale is because of the Crown of Choice and the wyvern is still petrified.
Bro, I remember seeing the Red Trailer for the first time on the RvB Season 10 Finale alone in my room. Then I played the trailer on loop in my car on my way to and from school, trying to understand what the lyrics were vecause no one posted them anywhere. 😅 I was so excited for this show. But it was absolutely NOTHING like I thought it was going to be from the start. I thought Ruby was going to be the silent and emotionless character, and she ended up as the exact opposite. 😅 I REALLY wish that I was able to enjoy the series more than I actually did. But I think that I stopped getting excited after season 3. But this is how things are now. Oh well. 😔 😊
You know, I just realized that we have Red like Roses parts 1-4 and Mirror Mirror 1-3. But I Burn has only 2 versions from what I remember. And From Shadows has no other variations. Yang and Blake pretty much have no musical comebacks with their theme songs from the early volumes.
Red like roses has 3 parts, mirror has 3 parts, Blake only really has from shadows I think, Yang has I burn (yellow trailer), armed and ready (volume 4) and ignite (second Yang short and the Adam rematch). Blake has definitely been shortchanged in the music department, she only has 1 song to the others 3.
I swear I just wanted to listen to Red Like Roses (trailer version) randomly. I didn't know there was a three parter, nor the fact that this was posted just 3 days ago.
Things I noticed hearing all three; Red like roses p2 basically foreshadowed Ruby's despair in v9 let me explain; Technically speaking it starts at the beginning but this part really struck me; Red like roses Fills my head with dreams and finds me Always closer To the emptiness and sadness - (this was a hint to ruby's little meltdown during the neverafter when she finally snapped) That has come to take the place of you I know you didn't plan this You tried to do what's right. But in the middle of this madness I'm the one you left to win this fight; this part we found out thanks yo the vision the lady show us which was when summer was with Raven. The two had a plan which was hoping it would end up ending ok which obviously it didn't. Summer didn't planned on dying she plan to possibly take out salem in secret and gtfo amd head home. How could you leave me when you swore that you would stay?; now yes she means dying but this was bigger then we expected; she left ruby after reading her amd yang a story. Summer already made up her mind to lie about the fact she had a mission to her family. When really it wasn't a mission Oz gave her. Both her and Raven went haywire and out of the blue went incognito to everyone. So far it only seems Raven knows the truth how sum sum died. Now for summers parts; I know you're broken down by anger and by sadness You feel I left you in a world that's full of *madness* guys this was 100% about the never after. No other fairy tale had madness as a theme BUT ALICE IN WONDERLAND Wish I could talk to you, if only for a minute Make you understand the reasons why I did it - technically speaking this was summers pov. She wish she could tell ruby she did this so ozpin wouldn't chose her to go against salem. She prayed ruby wouldn't be a huntress. What summer didn't expect was that ruby did infact fallen into madness. She didn't find out about summer until she drank the tea and fell into that other world qnd saw summers memories.
I'll continue my thiught about p2 later Another thing outside the song I noticed; we can hear the evolution of Casey's voice side by side :] Starting when she was 12 years to now
I feel he whole first part is just so evocative of Team RWBY. Ruby (Red) is haunted by the death of her mother, whose grave she likely visited often... Weiss (White) has had a cold personality forged both by her father's treatment of her and her sister's seeming abandonment of the family to join the military. She yearns for what she believes she cannot have, friendship and true family. The 'royal test' would refer to the challenge her father made to 'allow' her to go to Beacon, a challenge he believed she had no chance of winning... Blake (Black) was part of the White Fang after they went off the rails, with some of the members becoming more like 'beasts' than even the Grimm, yet she managed to escape, and so 'descends from shadow'... Yang (Yellow) is acknowledged by most to be quite the 'beauty' but when her temper's up her Semblance activates and she 'burns Gold'...
I first heard Casey just after my Mom died. The virus.. I didn't save her. 😞 We made a sword dancing video using these first two songs dedicated to her memory. I cannot listen to any of them without losing my sh*t and breaking down.. but they are just so incredibly beautiful. Thank you for this. 👊 We will inevitably steal it for the next annual dedication video.
I’m sorry for your loss. This song is a therapy for me as it reminds me of my feelings when I lost my mother in 2016. I couldn’t listen to the first two parts at first without breaking down but I’ve slowly been able to listen to them without sobbing. The 3rd part really helps as I’m in that stage in my life where I need a pick me up.
i have a theory, no idea if it has been thought of before, wouldnt doubt it if it has been. summer rose was a maiden and before she died her last thoughts were of the one she cared for and loved the most. now who would that be?
Iirc, we haven’t seen the fourth maiden, so while it’s a nice theory that Ruby could be the fourth maiden, I don’t think I’d like the fact that Ruby also has maiden powers along with her Silver Eyes. ... although, I totally wouldn’t be surprised if the end goal would be for each member of Team RWBY to get the power of the maidens (at least temporary). Possibly even to stand up to Salem holding all of the artefacts

Amazing bro, we finally got red like roses part 3, the chills and nostalgia is now filled inside me lol, but do you have the lyrics of part 3? Because I wanna do a video of red like roses part 3 with the lyrics
I finally got around to watching V9 a few weeks ago, several months after it came out. I got through the start of the season, and felt a bit disappointed, but didn't hate it or anything. The middle of the season was decent, and enough to keep my attention. Then the last three or four episodes happened. I was really wondering at that point when the story would pick up, and how they would resolve the situation in the handful of episodes left to them. I was concerned the end would be a rushed flurry to get the plot situated for V10. Instead, they were some of the best episodes of RWBY I've seen. I had gone from passively enjoying the music and humor to again being really, genuinely invested in the story. And, as I was reconsidering my opinion on the season as a whole, Guide My Way came on. The callback in the leitmotifs, the timing, the animation was all a perfect storm to sell that ending and made me genuinely love the season.
i dont think part 3 is meant to be played right after part 2, unlike how part 1 and 2 seamlessly flow into eachother. i think its just under the red like roses name because of the theme, lyrics, etc it WOULDVE defo been cool to have it continue from 2 i just dont know how thatd be possible considering 2 ends "abruptly" - it has an ending, unlike part 1 which has both an ending and a continuation i am rambling way too much wow these songs are simply really good
@cookikomori that's true. It's inconsistent. I wish they gave prominence to Ruby's motif instead of playing it for a few seconds. Doesn't feel like red like roses at all, at least to me.

I didn't notice that I like how it told a story a young hero who lost a family member then they go on this grand journey with twists and turns and friendship they have made along the way.
Compared to the others i think part 3 is a solid 7/10 the start is slow but thending of part 3 is amazing the whispered "i am what insipired the fairy tale" i was prob best part..just the vibe was very different then part 1-2 which i think is good it is showing the growth of the character, she's not the same as her past.
On a thematic level I like how the songs connect. Ruby wanting to follow in the footsteps of the forgotten (part 1), Ruby’s frustration of not living up to her image of her mother (part2) and Ruby coming to terms and forging her own path (part 3). It also matches musically as 1 builds into 2 but 3 breaks the tension for something different. But man part 3 sucks. It’s not bad , but it’s not good either. I think my problem is that part 3 feels too… different, for lack of a better word.
It's a very different tempo that kinda breaks things a lot, it should've sounded more like a sequel to the other two, though I guess that might be hard without being repetitive

I guess Ruby finally ROSE to the occasion.

Amazing hearing the progression of Casey’s voice
The trilogy has been completed. Part 3 is so damn good!
That last song, joke, might be my favorite song in almost this entire show, man. It is so impowering
That was kinda obvious by the time One Thing rolled out.
That in itself is a reference to what Blake said when they first met
I think it would be kinda poetic if the very last rwby song was a combo red like roses part 4, and a "This will be the day" remix or part 2.
POV: you’re here after Spotify deleted them all

Yup as looking at my liked songs wondering where they all were… At least I still have the covers
Close. ITunes took them down and Google music hasn't existed in years
I’m here after Apple Music deleted them all.
Why, though?
I’m calling it now, there’s gonna be a 4th part before the series end
I have a feeling it's going to either be the opening of the final volume, or the accompanying music for the final fight against Salem.

Same
At least there's room for a good transition similar to pt1 and pt2, we can hope
The worst part is, it would flow together so well if it weren't for the prelude. If part 3 just started and the 9:33 mark, it would have been so much smoother.

The first part of part 3 was reminding me of The Shins. The sound track of RWBY is such a gift.
So proud that we got all of RWBY red like roses all parts🎉
@@everettbernsen46Show me
@everettbernsen46 12 or 14 volumes seems to be the general assumption. Either 3 for each kingdom or that + a final season or two
@@hamstersandwich9917 With how things are going at RT atm, if they were smart they'd end at 12.
I was so excited for this show. But it was absolutely NOTHING like I thought it was going to be from the start.
I thought Ruby was going to be the silent and emotionless character, and she ended up as the exact opposite. 😅
I REALLY wish that I was able to enjoy the series more than I actually did. But I think that I stopped getting excited after season 3.
But this is how things are now. Oh well. 😔 😊
The red like roses part 2 is my favorite
Gods i remember watching the original Red trailer. Glad to see how far the show has come.
@@NightHunter571 Blake has 3 parts

I swear I just wanted to listen to Red Like Roses (trailer version) randomly. I didn't know there was a three parter, nor the fact that this was posted just 3 days ago.
Things I noticed hearing all three;
Red like roses p2 basically foreshadowed Ruby's despair in v9 let me explain;
Technically speaking it starts at the beginning but this part really struck me;
Red like roses
Fills my head with dreams and finds me
Always closer
To the emptiness and sadness - (this was a hint to ruby's little meltdown during the neverafter when she finally snapped)
That has come to take the place of you
I know you didn't plan this
You tried to do what's right.
But in the middle of this madness
I'm the one you left to win this fight; this part we found out thanks yo the vision the lady show us which was when summer was with Raven.
Now for summers parts;
I know you're broken down by anger and by sadness
You feel I left you in a world that's full of *madness* guys this was 100% about the never after. No other fairy tale had madness as a theme BUT ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Wish I could talk to you, if only for a minute
Make you understand the reasons why I did it - technically speaking this was summers pov.
I'll continue my thiught about p2 later
Another thing outside the song I noticed; we can hear the evolution of Casey's voice side by side :]
Starting when she was 12 years to now
Ten years later....the trilogy is complete
This song always gives me chills
Can't wait for part 4
i love how everyone has like crazy meanings for these songs while i just listen to them cos they’re good
Finally, after all these years, I have them all
Almost 14 minutes of straight heat
I honestly hope the final fight will have her entire OST playing
Rooster Teeth was shut down today
yep
Welcome back, RWBY 🌹
Grunkle Stan: Finally, I have them all.
Sorry to hear that, what's the video?
I’m sorry for your loss. This song is a therapy for me as it reminds me of my feelings when I lost my mother in 2016. I couldn’t listen to the first two parts at first without breaking down but I’ve slowly been able to listen to them without sobbing. The 3rd part really helps as I’m in that stage in my life where I need a pick me up.
Edelwiss has a lyrics video for 3.
I have first seen RWBY in December 2023. Best decision in a very long time
Finally, after all these years. We have them all.
3:35-4:38 I NEEEEEEEED to learn that
i have a theory, no idea if it has been thought of before, wouldnt doubt it if it has been.
summer rose was a maiden and before she died her last thoughts were of the one she cared for and loved the most.
now who would that be?
Iirc, we haven’t seen the fourth maiden, so while it’s a nice theory that Ruby could be the fourth maiden, I don’t think I’d like the fact that Ruby also has maiden powers along with her Silver Eyes.
... although, I totally wouldn’t be surprised if the end goal would be for each member of Team RWBY to get the power of the maidens (at least temporary). Possibly even to stand up to Salem holding all of the artefacts
Red like roses fills my dreams
And brings me to the place you rest
White is cold and always yearning
Burdened by a royal test
Black, the beast descends from shadows
Yellow beauty burns gold
[Instrumental]
couldn't take it, couldn't stand another minute
Couldn't bear another day without you in it
All of the joy that I had known for all my life
Was stripped away from me the minute that you died
To have you in my life was all I ever wanted
But now without you, I'm a soul forever haunted
Can't help but feel that I had taken you for granted
No way in hell that I can ever comprehend this
I wasn't dreaming when they told me you were gone
I was wide awake and feeling that they had to be wrong
How could you leave me when you swore that you would stay?
Now I'm trapped inside a nightmare every single f'ing day
It's like a movie, but there's not a happy ending
Every scene fades black and there's no pretending
This little fairytale doesn't seem to end well
There's no knight in shining armor who will wake me from the spell
[Pre-Chorus: Casey Lee Williams]
I know you didn't plan this
You tried to do what's right
But in the middle of this madness
I'm the one (I'm the one, I'm the one)
Left to win this fight
[Chorus: Casey Lee Williams]
Red like roses
Fills my head with dreams and finds me
Always closer
To the emptiness and sadness
That has come to take the place of you
[Verse 2: Sandy Casey]
I know you’re broken down by anger and by sadness
You feel I left you in a world that's full of madness
Wish I could talk to you, if only for a minute
Make you understand the reasons why I did it
I wanna tell you that you’re all that ever mattered
Want you to know that, for eternity, I’m shattered
I tried so hard just to protect you but I failed to
And, in a prison of abandonment, I've jailed you
I never planned that I would leave you there alone
I was sure that I would see you when I made it back home
And all the times I swore that it would be okay
Now I’m nothing but a liar and you're thrown into the fray
This bedtime story ends with misery ever after
The pages are torn and there’s no final chapter
I didn’t have a choice, I did what I had to do
I made a sacrifice but forced a bigger sacrifice on you
[Pre-Chorus: Sandy Casey]
I know you've lived a nightmare
I caused you so much pain
But baby, please don’t do what I did
I don’t want (I don't want, I don't want)
You to waste your life in vain
[Chorus: Casey Lee Williams]
Red like roses
Fills my head with dreams and finds me
Always closer
To the emptiness and sadness
That has come to take the place of you
[Bridge: Casey Lee Williams, Sandy Casey, and Both]
You're not the only one who needed me
I thought you understood
You were the one I needed
And you left me as I always feared you would
Would I change it if I could?
It doesn’t matter how
The petals scatter now
Every nightmare just discloses
It’s your blood that’s red like roses
And no matter what I do
Nothing ever takes the place of you
[Guitar Solo]
[Chorus: Casey Lee Williams]
Red like roses
Fills my head with dreams and finds me
Always closer
To the emptiness and sadness
That has come to take the place of you
Saw you in a dream
Are you who you seem?
Was it always in the cards for me to be aimless?
No direction
Nothing pulling me down from the sky
It seems like I always get too high
Oh, the air is cold, I don't know how to breathe
I'm begging, can you
[Chorus]
Guide my way out
Of this place?
[Interlude]
Red like roses fills my dreams
Ooh-ooh
[Verse 2]
Open wide
You were born to hypnotize them all
They said their prayers (can you, can you)
Can you hear me up there?
What survives
After all the dust is gone?
Were you there 'til the end? (the end)
Were you at least called a friend?
Otherside
Did you mean to make me half or whole?
Will I ever be (complete?)
When will I become all of me?
[Chorus]
Guide my way out
Of this place
[Bridge]
I can't define
Would it even be enough to change my mind?
Your memory ever-lasting at war with my foolish pride
What is left?
I know it's you and I when I look inside
I'll be who you were and I'll be even more
[Bridge 2]
A moment of quiet is all it takes
To reclaim a life and a promise made
I am the reflection of who prevails
I'm what inspired the fairytale
A moment of quiet is all it takes
To reclaim a life and a promise made
I am the reflection of who prevails
I'm what inspired the fairytale
(I'm what inspired the fairytale)
[Chorus]
Guide my way out
Of this place
(I can guide me, I can guide my way out)
Guide my way out
Of this place

Part 3's intro seems so abrupt 😢
i dont think part 3 is meant to be played right after part 2, unlike how part 1 and 2 seamlessly flow into eachother. i think its just under the red like roses name because of the theme, lyrics, etc
it WOULDVE defo been cool to have it continue from 2
i just dont know how thatd be possible considering 2 ends "abruptly" - it has an ending, unlike part 1 which has both an ending and a continuation
i am rambling way too much wow

@cookikomori that's true. It's inconsistent. I wish they gave prominence to Ruby's motif instead of playing it for a few seconds. Doesn't feel like red like roses at all, at least to me.

Yea same man, if it wasn't called part 3 then it wouldn't be bad but as a successor to part 1 and 2 imo it doesn't fit well
It's a very different tempo that kinda breaks things a lot, it should've sounded more like a sequel to the other two, though I guess that might be hard without being repetitive
Does anyone else think of Pirates of the Caribbean halfway through part 1? Just me?
