it amazes me how much we learn about events that have taken place as late as season 5 in the opening theme song to season 2, and I'm, sure that they'll be more that we have yet to learn in the future. Thats one of the many great things bout RWBY's soundtrack-we often times learn more about the lore than we do in the actual show XD
One thing, all the lyrics in my opinion, describes the lives of the character singing it, see when its color coded. The lyrics they seem special to me. Every single song in RWBY always describes an event that's gonna happen in every season either in the future, or the past, and even the present. As a RWBY theory goes, these songs describes the character lives as well as the character song. See, Ruby's song represents Ruby and Summer's relationship as parent and sibling, also what the character feels like in the time period when Ruby lost Summer, which was a time in her childhood times. Weiss' song represents her loneliness, sadness, wonders of her VERY big expectations, and feelings. It also explains a little about her childhood along with the series. Now Blake, the lyrics in this song that was color coded for her as purple, and explains about her relationships with Adam and the White Fang, also this helps a lot more for us to understand along with the series and trailer as well as the song, a lot about her Faunus life with Adam, and the whole Remnant. Finally, we move on to Yang the most straight forward character in team RWBY. She along with her song explains her characters, along with the word badass from, lets see, pretty much the whole RWBY fandom team. So, thank you for reading this theory of mine. Please comment, if you want to add something to it. After all that typing my hands should be tired. But, guess not, have to be my RWBY love and fandom! 😂
Ruby (not RWBY, that's the team acronym, Ruby is the leader's name) has seen a lot of death. Literally every important character who's died has done so when Ruby had to watch. My current theory is that seeing death is what powers her Silver Eyes thing. That's bad news if it's true.

Yeah.
so many truthful statement's in this song lol preach RWBY!
Fading Angel That's not a theory. That's literally what the songs are, to give us more insight into the characters and their life
>I'm not BTS Trash

BTS is the least of your worries.
How long did it take you to type this?
It's just amazing how these songs also tell us stories about characters beside just being awesome.. Monty really had it planned out perfectly.
Were we born to fight and die? Props to subtle foreshadowing.
I have listened to this song no joke over 1000 times and watching this was the first time I realized they all had their own lines. THANKYOU!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry but Rwby looks terrifying XD like is she starring into my soul or what?!
She's hiding under your bed... better sleep with a knife tonight.
haha i would too
Ruby (not RWBY, that's the team acronym, Ruby is the leader's name) has seen a lot of death. Literally every important character who's died has done so when Ruby had to watch. My current theory is that seeing death is what powers her Silver Eyes thing. That's bad news if it's true.
I think it's mostly due to the hair and eyes. but yeah, kinda creepy
*scrolls up to video* holy crap she does
Artist credit in the description! :)
thank you :)
FlyntofRWBYNation Can you Please Give Me a Link Of Downlouding This????

I have a question, I really love this song but I don't know where it's from, can you tell me?
Just had to come here given RT has fallen. Hopefully RWBY will find a new home soon.
Don't worry man, it has
2:00 dang that for shadowing (when they discover ozpin's secrets in volume 6)
Coming back after volume 8....they had no idea.....still my favorite opening tho
I love listening to these remembering what happened in the seasons and realising how much the lyrics say about the season.
"Sacrificed for one huge lie" goes so well with the plot in season 6
This is probably the most unique/original sounding rock I've heard in a while.
This song hits differently
I am proud to say that *Yang's part is my fav. Part*
Years and now im back to this masterpiece of a song. Time to start RWBY again
coming back to listen to this and holy hell. still hits the heart like it used to.
You have an awesome channel dude!
Thanks ^.^
I think the lyrics you used to illustrate Blake were very good. Props to you man! 👏👏👏👏👏
This song seems really fitting for what just happened with RT shutting down
1. Someone get Ruby to stop looking at me like that
2. This video is fucking amazing
I always picture team RWBY as a band performing in front of Beacon students
There was an episode form RWBY chibi about that and now you have 27 sub
@@MaSa-mq8nd Thank you! Also, I love that episode!
1:51 Jaysus, look back now after Volume 6, that line just cuts deep!
And now it's time to say goodbye to Roosterteeth
O7
And say hello to Viz Media
All of these old comments hurt to read but it’s so good to see RWBY giving us a self-fulfilling prophecy
I miss them
This is the best opening song of the series imo
U know I don’t watch this show anymore BUT DANG ARE THESE SONGS ALL PURE BOPS OR WUT?!?!
I still listen to this particular song from time to time
"We can't just wait with lives at stake until they think we're ready"
Reminds me of one of the episodes, when one of the girls pointed out that "our enemies aren't just gonna sit and wait for graduation day. they're out there somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is but it's coming, whether we like it or not."
Love the whole character picture highlight thing, especially when they all did for the last chorus. Hypes me every time I listen
Ruby go home you're drunk
Ikr =b
Oh dear, did she try one of Yang's strawberry sunrises? Not good. O_O!!
just dont let any of that near nora and we are fine o.o
ASHLEY RAHLFS yes?
Dragon Friend ummm.... I let Nora have some...
Wow... I started watching Monty's stuff around Haloid, here we are at RWBY Volume 5, and I'm just now hearing the full version of this song.
Why does Ruby look like Mikasa Ackerman xD
The hair is the contributing factor there XD
did you also notice that Weise looks kind of like her sister Winter?
i just noticed that she kind of does! XD
ProTitanSlayer Nah she looks like Hinata Hyuga's younger sister
Jordan Ludlum Yeah i can see that
ive never seen rwby except for the first ep but oh my god this goes so hard
“Our enemies are gathering “ yep, they really are,got that right
So...I'm listening to these...in the middle of volume 5...and...I don't know how they did it, but Rooster Teeth and Monty manage to foreshadow things in volumes 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the opening of volume 2. Rooster Teeth, you are eerily amazing at making these soundtracks. I love these songs!
who is listening to this after rooster teeth closes it's kinda appropriate😢
I came to this after the latest episode and just made me go WOW this show has come a long way :D I miss this opening
in memory of Monty Oum :(
Ah it feels great to rewind and listen to old Rwby soundtrack
