Growing up in the Philippines, our grandparents always say that same thing“Eating with hands doesnt taste the same as eating with spoon”
I love when people point this out. Most people never even think about it, but it's true, tableware totally changes the taste of the food. It feels more natural to use hands to eat, and more connected to the act of eating.
My parents Somali and i was born in Canada but i one hundred percent agree food taste way better when you eat with your hands!!

And its true. Ure hands have pheromones and when you touch your food and take it to your mouth the pheromones release into the food. Also thers no way you can completely clean off your plate with cutlery. We need fingers to polish off the plate. And both eating with hands and finihing every morsel on the plate is a sunnah for us Muslims. 🙂

It would be nice to see reaction groups do an exchange with other reaction groups. For an example selected members from one group go to stay with another reaction group in a different country that is not to far away from them to see how they live for a couple of days and vice versa. Sadly with todays politics that would be very hard to arrange but if it could happen it would make some great video footage. We can only but dream !

It is freaking weird that they never heard of the dishes. But yeah the fact Pakistan doesn't have the rest of the subcontinent's geography and cuisine , limits them. Also the fact that lots of foods are vegetarian which are made by the hindu population are not represented in Pakistan's muslim meat centric diet.

My parents originated from the Gujarat state in India. They emigrated to England. They have both passed away now. I find it interesting how the language is very similar. Some words are the same but some are different. It's so nice hearing a familiar language as it reminds me of them.
Yes Gujarati has similarity with Sindhi and most of these women or maybe all are Sindhi.

I don't know how anyone wouldn't love Indian cuisine; it's so delicious, and there's something for everyone: vegans, vegetarians, carnivores, those who love spicy food, and those (like me) who prefer mild food.

That would've been new for alot of them. The South Indian Biryani is v different than the PK type Biryani (which tends to be N Indian/Punjabi flavours). I think they should've served Dosa as well.

Urdu is a language with arabic, farsi, hindi and other languages mashed together, so lots of borrowed words
