Marcelo is probably one of the most talented individuals on the planet. Someone who makes it as the head of Latin American trading at Credit Suisse while at the same time maintaining his world-class guitar talents (winner of the '84 Toronto Guitar Competition) is a total badass - this kind of talent across disparate categories should be illegal!!!!
There was a radio program presented by Fabio Zanon where Kayath talked about his life (It´s only in portuguese unfortunately) and it´s quite impressive what he did. He was able to get a univerisity degree in engineering at same time he was making his international career as a concertist, after some time he quit music career, started working in financial business and became a millionarie. Yeah, the guy is talented - and obstinate as well. Nice to see he is back to music now, and playing even better.
