Weiss is perhaps one of the most underrated and under played composers on guitar. Many of his extensive lute suites are simply endless rhythmic marvels filled with soaring melody.
I agree, he should be played almost as much as Bach is on da guitar
A reminder that there is sanity and beauty in the world. Thanks and thanks again!
Couldn't agree more!
1000 per cent right ❤
Very well said!
Agree 100%❤🌌🌅

Bravo!!!!!!!!
Another Masterpiece performed by “The Master of classical guitar”, Marcin Dylla.
FANTASTIC!!! ESPECIALLY THE LAST PIECE!!!
Absolutely stunning. Beautiful. Hands together for the player.
Very nice shooting, lighting and sound too. The whole video is great.
Interpretación de altísima calidad.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Weiss created this amazing piece, one of the greatest lute music of all time,..... but you're making the guitar sing this tune !!! Only the guitar can sing out the soul of this composition... I'm really digging what you're playing, Maestro Dylla .... 🙏 ......... Weiss himself would be admiring you from up above. ...... 💯
I hate to say both you Marcin and Mr Weiss are new discoveries for me! What an incomparable joy!
Such music and playing! ❤
Very smart playing
The guitar legend is back
Such elegance...staggering musicality as always.
Stunningly beautiful playing. One of my favorite Weiss pieces, along with his Pasacaglia. BRAVO!! This made my day.
Marcin always a beautiful experience to hear and seeing you playing: MAESTRO
In the greatest performances, the musician is an instrument that gets played by the soul of the music. Thank you for being the Marcin who demonstrates subtlety and refinement. You, Marcin Della, are a true inspiration. Thank you for your continued mastery and humility.
A reminder I cannot play guitar. A lesson of humility IS Always welcome
Thank you maestro for performing these masterpieces in such an altruistic sincere way!
Hello Marcin from Pennsylvania. I really appreciate your playability to the highest. Thank you for sharing!
World best classical guitarist ❤
I totally agree. I have my granddaughter viewing his technique. Shoulder, elbow, hand angle. She is just getting started, might as well start right
Absolutely 👍
He is a legend of this era
Absolutely! Incredible technique and beautiful musicality.

Marcin, since years you are my favorite master of playing the classical guitar, thanks a lot a lot and a lot !
Bravo Marcin!!!
I listened to M. Dylla at an international competition in Moscow in 2007 (maybe 2008).
Outstanding musician. A special sound, your own interpretation of the performed works!
Watching the fluidity of your right hand is mind boggling to me. There are those who play 'perfectly' and then there is Marcin Dylla, who plays better than perfect.
Marvellous !! thank you..
Fantastic, as always
That tone… Touch of elysium!
Beautifully performed - this sounds wonderful.
thanks for posting
Ole maestro! Greetings from Patras, Greece. You are amazing!
So nice to see (and hear) new Marcin videos. Sublime as always.
So beautiful!
This was wonderful.
Marcin is such an artist !!!
Love it! Absolutely beautiful phrasing!
Saludos Angelo!
What a great job! these channels that require so much effort and so few followed! the decline of modern humanity! congratulations Marcin, your playing is very elegant! Greetings Angelo!

beautiful! I'm curious how comfortable is that guitar to play ... it's the same torres from the previous video right?
Congrats!!! Bravo!!! Are that gut strings?
❤❤❤❤❤
❤️🙏
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Excellent playing of this beautiful sonata. Tell me who made this wonderful guitar, it's perfect.
Antonio de Torres?
It’s a 1931 Francisco Simplicio
👍👍👍👍👍
Hello Marcin,
I’m inspired by your beautiful rendering to learn to play this suite.
Do you have a score you’d recommend?
Played so beautifully and delicately.
Is this Sonata in D minor WSW34? Does anybody know? I'm trying to find the music for it but there are quite a few Sonata's in D minor in Weiss' catalog?
Yes, its Sonata SW34 in d minor, or also named - Dresden Suite no. 5. You can find more than ten guitar transcriptions of this suite. In D, E and H minor in PDF in the group - "Sylvius Leopold Weiss in VK."
I heard Marcin perform this piece live in Ingesund, Arvika in Sweden 2023, the day after his masterclass where I had the honor to participate. It was a fantastic concert and masterclass arranged by the Music University at Ingesund. 🙌🙏
Great performance. The guitar basses as famous as they are sound opaque. It may well be the instrument itself and nothing else
Hi Marcin, I wish you could tell us more about what instruments you are playing in your videos in the future
I think that's the Torres he recorded with before
It’s a 1886 Antonio de Torres.
Deeply touched by this recording! I don’t know if there is any rational behind playing baroque on a Torres guitar, but it just fits perfectly. Its deep sound goes straight to the heart!♥️
What a synergy. The best player on the best instrument. Thank you Marcin and Wolfgang
2 questions. No.1 is that a hauser? No.2 have you tuned down a whole step? Drop C tuning
There is nothing wrong playing a nice Torres…especially with such an tasteful and touching way of performing the lute-baroque. Bravissimo Marcin! Good choice - Wulfin
Suite d-Moll "Dresden"
Explended! exquisite detail and refinement. Now imagine if it were using Augustine strings...HAHA
