    70 G’s is a nice down payment for a house. These trucks are a dealerships wet dream, lots of electrical problems. I know 2 guys that have their trucks parked right now paying 800 a month because they can’t get a replacement chip due to the shortage.

    7.3, I love mine.

    70 + for a vehicle ? HELL NO. I rather put that money towards a house rather then a vehicle that drops in value. I'll stick to older 7.3 that I can buy for 10,000 put a few bucks in it. And run for years

    Overall rather have 7.3. The 6.7 has aluminum heads and alot of things to go wrong. 7.3 all cast iron. Might be slower but cheaper to fix

    • @SharkBoy178
      @SharkBoy178 Рік тому

      The 7.3L is also slower cause they're meant souly for towing rigs. They are one of, if not the best towing rig, plus they don't have all that dumb emission stuff

    I've heard people say those 6.7s are good engines. Just need to do the def delete, but ive still seen them hit 1 million miles with them still on.

    Of course I'd take a 6.7 but my 7.3 is paid off and I don't tow much just my construction truck so I use the bed alot, all I need tbh. I think I can swing a 6.7 but I'll keep the 7.3 for awhile

    I would trade my 7.3 any day for a new 6.7 and sell it.

  • @myk1_sp

    I'd rather have the 7.3 Power Stroke, they were built in a time when trucks weren't status symbols and they can easily go 500k miles and up!

    Is there any way to swap a 6.7 into a 99-03 platform? Seems like you could have the best of both worlds and fully delete the 6.7 legally.

    My dad has a 2017 6.7 platinum bone stock except for a intake. My 7.3 will beat it from a dig because I have a tuner, intake, straight pipe

    Love your energy for the Powerstroke platform in this video. Serious question do you know why the 7.3 is significantly louder than 6.7? Besides the emissions system on the 6.7.

    • @brian3.2
      @brian3.2 7 місяців тому

      Common Rail injection keeps the 6.7 quite at idle. Emission system off the 6.7 won't roar until under some load. I daily a 96' E350 7.3 because I got tired of def heaters and pumps on my 6.7 always failing. But when I need to hook up to my 15k lb excavator ,, no question, I am taking the 6.7.
