I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I've seen them live. I've seen them as Heart,, The Lovemongers & solo.... Never ever have I seen Ann sit down for songs while Nancy standing next her her. I get that she's getting older,, but come on....
I had always loved Heart, long time fan going back to the 70s. Nobody but nobody could touch Ann Wilson IMHO, one of the greatest powerful voices in all of R N R. But one thing no one has found out yet is how to come out ahead of Father time. Ann still does a good job that's for sure. But I think it's got to be a little tough for her to realize that she just can't hit all of the notes that she once did, on some of Hearts classic material. There's no shame in that, especially at her age, so maybe she should just take it down a key or limit the attempts. She's still a great performer, but it's gotta be a bit tough for her to realize her capabilities nowadays. Hope she's ok health wise, sitting for a majority of the show, and they only did 14 songs, so it wasn't a long show. I think she might have a better chance of performing longer and more effectively if she's tries to tone down the performance a bit to more fit her current day capabilities. Again, I love Heart and Ann's voice, this is no knock as we all age. Ann at 80% is better than most at 100%.
Their sets have been getting shorter for at least ten years, unfortunately. I wish they'd drop the needless covers, and focus on their amazing catalogue.
I wish Ann would lose the weight.Her health is at risk ! She is tired. I am saddened by this. She has several years left and is shortening her massive potential. I thought she had figured this weight isue out by now
As one of their older fan base with my own severe pain & lung issues- I can have empathy & compassion & just forever thrilled they were willing to present & share of themselves and awesome talent! Personally ❤ the more mature tones and spirit put forth. As long as they remain healthy & keep turning out, they are doing EVERYTHING right! Get it Ladies! Much love always🌹🌹
