Why does the video show a therapist massaging the extensors??

Hi . Susan is not available to answer specific questions, however I think I can help (qualified sports injury rehabilitator).
I tend to start with more than one a week, usually 2, until some improvement is noted. This is usually within 2 weeks. Then I spread treatments out as it improves.
You need to have around 48 hours rest inbetween such deep techniques.
Maintenance treatments depend on the individual and symptoms. Most people can manage it at home and you can help prevent it with exercises

    Susan,
You say that several sessions may be needed to treated properly for golfers elbow. Typically is this one session a week, or can several sessions occur within the same week. How long does maintenance last>
    Thanks.

Golfer's elbow is from repetitive wrist movements so if you are doing pull-up's correctly you shouldn't get it from them
