Hey DocJo! new subscriber. couple of questions. 1. what I think is golfers elbow - main pain is right on the ball of that joint inside/bottom of elbow. sensitive to the touch. on doing the mobilization I can feel it in the muscles in that area. does it sound like golfers elbow to you? 2. I have ordered the bar. is there something i can use for the twist exercise until i receive it? Tried with a rolled up hand towel with limited success. thanks!
It is 3 am now and i am literally searching for this
It's 1:56 am and I am also literally searching for this

I felt immediate relief after the stretches in this video! Love it. Very well explained
I would like to thank you for your video. Everyone else spent 10 - 15 minutes explaining what the problem was, but you hit it and dived right in in just a few minutes. Thank you. Great suggestions.
You're welcome, and thanks.
Excellent presentation of very helpful information. Thank you!
Thanks, and you're welcome!
I felt relief on my arm almost immediately with the warm up stretches. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Ive probably watched a dozen golfer elbow videos and this one was the best. Straight forward and effective.
Thanks.
Did you buy all those products?
SUBIR NAG I bought a generic brand elbow strap from walgreens and just backed off weightlifting and gripping for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, light rehab type movements for another 2 weeks then 100% recovered
I bet your pain came right back, these are grandmother rehab exercises. There are much better videos for strengthening, this is one of the worst videos in my opinion and I bet she never had the problem herself using those gimmicky rubber pieces
@@paulshealthfitness7922 which vids dude
Very helpful exercises!
Thank you very much for this valuable information
You're welcome.
Informative and your suggestions helped. Thank you.
Thanks, and you're welcome.
Omg that stretch was amazing had me crying like a baby.
Stretching shouldn't put you in so much pain you cry. This isnt a no pain no gain situation
@@Drama2Karma but it helps alot when you have pain and when you strech the pain is not that bad.

Thank you! I hope they help.

Hi Dr. Jo, I did your exercises on Golfers elbow and it worked for me so thanks for a great video. But I have some discomfort from the muscle above the inner elbow. Do you have any suggestions??
after months with this condition, feels like I finally found the answer! (so far 1 week with only the stretches and wrist flexion with a light dumbbell). thanks so much!

Doctor Jo you are one of the best in rehabbing people hands down 🙌🙏

Was hurting to wipe surfaces with a wet cloth. After doing this video (not including the exercises with special tools) and tried wiping surface and hurt WAY less, hardly at all! Will definitely do these daily. Thanks Jo, you're such a star, really sweet - love your videos
You're welcome, and thanks!
I liked your video and thought about buying the arm bar. Then I went to my doctor for my elbow, and he told me the same thing you said. Decision made!
Another great video Jo! Love your info! xx
Thank you!
This really works, thank you! Being a high level tennis player, I seem to only get this injury when I try other sports like Olympic snatch or squash.
You're welcome!
@@AskDoctorJo darn it, it came back with the onset of tennis season. I guess I have to do regular elbow work during my daily stretching and mobile routine.
@@jeanpauljeanpaul2530 dude how is it now ? Can u give me some advice regarding it. I’m also a professional player .
@@Chess2000 the Tyler twist exercise with the Thera bar involves aggressively loading the eccentric portion of the movement. This is generally not trained, which is why it is more susceptible to injury. The tendons are no longer inflamed, but disorganized, so you need to progressively overload the tendons to make them stronger. I now perform a regular elbow routine to prevent this issue from happening again.
omg thank you so much I couldn't lock my elbow before and these stretches help so so so so much thank you thank you really
You're welcome! I'm glad they helped.
okay so I really really messed up my elbow throwing a football and like idk what to do
Probably need to go see a doctor or physical therapist for an evaluation to find out for sure what is going on.
It actually worked! Thanks
You're welcome!
This really HELPS - thanks!!
You're welcome!
Thank you for an extremely clear and informative video ! A PT told me my golfers elbow is probably from computer work. My chair and workstation are fairly ergonomic but would you recommend using a foam wrist pad in front of my keyboard, or any other device that would take pressure off the inside of my elbow? Should I wear the elbow band while working? I have one called "bandit." Thanks !
You're welcome! The foam would probably help so your elbows don't drop down to get too much pressure on them. I think wearing the elbow band while working is fine as long as you think it helps. Good luck!
Thank you so much !
You're welcome!
Just ordered the strap. Thanks for the video. I’ve had this since May and have lost a lot of muscle in my arms trying not to make it worse. Crazy how long it can last.
هل تعالجت الان؟
Spot on!
Thank you so much, I've been struggling with this horrible elbow pain, and searching for videos that could help and this one was by far the most informative, quick questions tho, how much time would you say that this pain could go away and is it possible that it could definitely go away? And is ice helpful too?
Thanks again.
You're welcome. It really just depends on how severe your case is. With consistent treatment, it can take anywhere from a few days to 6 weeks. Yes, icing it might help too. Good luck.
Thank you Doctor it really works 😊
You're welcome.
Thank you so much
You're welcome.
Ty this helps!❤
You're welcome!
Thanks Doc! Those helped!
You're welcome!
Bought the ArmBar. Bought the PDF. Did the exercises. And my golfer's elbow pain has really reduced!!! IMAGINE. Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Thanks for your advice. How about icing the affected area?
THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ARE THE BEST! GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS! 👏😁👏

Excellient exercise
Thanks!
Thank you so much, I was diagnosed with golfers elbow yesterday, I’m starting your stretches and exercises and it seems to feel better already, hopefully this works I believe mine has been caused by crochet and knitting which I love to do ❣️ Do you think I can get back into my favorite hobby or should I wait till it’s completely healed ?
You’re welcome. It might be okay to try just a few minutes worth, but I wouldn’t go very long the first few times you get back into it. Good luck.
did it go away yet ? thanks
This is the only injury ive ever had that didnt just go away on its own. Thanks for the tips
You're welcome.
wow it instantly worked, my inner elbow hurt after I did bicep curls and now after this exercise the pain was gone. thank you doc!
You're welcome!
Same here
Dr. Jo when do use the simian brace--when you're doing these rehab exercises or all the time till it feels better or do you even wear it after you return to resistance training, like if I'm doing pullups?
Thx
Clay
Thanks so much for this awesome video. Can you advise how often we should do this, ie daily, every other day? I think it’s the only thing not mentioned, or it might have been and I missed it!
You're welcome. Therapeutic exercises can be done 2-3 times a day.
AskDoctorJo Brilliant thanks. I get sharp pain on my medial epicondyle doing press-ups when my arm is bent in a position. I can also get the pain when I spread out my fingers and bend my elbow. Any ideas on this?
Thank you!!!!!!!!
You’re welcome!
Alhamdulillah the exercises shown in your video are very useful. I only tried these exercises once. It has benefited me greatly. Thank you very much thank you very much.
You're welcome.
Nothing better than finding someone who knows what the hell they're talking about!
Thanks!
You're welcome!
HI, thanks for the great video. How long or how many hours should one wear the brace?
You're welcome. Mainly just when you are doing activities that feel like are irritating it.
I work as a IT sys admin and I have this in both of my arms. The left one isn't really bad but the right on (figures) is a pain in the ass. I've got an armband like this one that I'll be using more often and these stretches should help out a ton. I've basically went a week without using my right arm figuring it'd get better faster. I don't think it did. Very information video and easy to follow.
Good luck.
Is cold pack good besides these seven exercises...I have also been taking laser therapy but seems to be no improvement...pls advise...thank you
Ice should help too.
