Thank you so much Bob and Brad!
I have an immediate increase in range of motion and lessening in pain after using your techniques.
I’m a newer worker for UPS and I’ll use your stretching exercises before my shifts as prevention.
I've been waiting and waiting for you to address Golfer's Elbow! I have a chronic case and massage does really help!
Who has golfers elbow in 2024?
I developed “golfers elbow” from squatting with a barbell. Go figure
I do
@Weeniesrus mines is from griping, just not sure if it is from my push or pull.
2 hours of pickleball and 4 of paintbrush painting. Overused
Thanks for this. Suffering from this for the last several weeks, but I am seeing my physical therapist regularly, so am on the mend.
This really helped! Great video. I do a lot of rock climbing and golfing, let’s just say my right forearm was not feeling well.
Thanks for this great video. I developed golfer's elbow while outrigger paddling and have been sitting out of training for about 6 weeks but was still feeling about the same pain level day to day, despite stretching and resting. Two days of massage followed by ice and it's already helping me turn the corner.
That’s what I was talking about, inside of elbow! ! Thank you for doing this!
Thank guys. I play guitar and I've had a horrible time trying to sort out the various pain points I have developed in my older age. A note of interest: In my case the muscle and tendon tension is not in the forearm, but in the muscle and tendons where the tricep meets the inside of the elbow, yet the pain is the same as golfer's elbow (same spot). I started cross fiber massage on that group of muscle and tissue (at the base of the tricep) and that seems to help quite a bit.
Very useful video. I bought one to reduce my armpain, it works great and fast.
Thank you for this video. I injured the inside of my elbow while lifting weights, then soon after I started playing Pickle Ball. My elbow is SO tender, I have been babying it, but knew that can’t continue. I feel hopeful that your suggestions will help me.
Thanks so much guys.... i learned so much from this video... i like all your vids but this is something that has plagued me from disc golf and i can already feel the relief and better circulation in my hand.
Thank you, I already feel a difference. Very simple remedies
After golfing for over 25 years I have never had golfers elbow until now, your technique is working to loosen my arm and taking the pain away. Nice job guys.
Same here 30 plus years and now all of sudden it popped up
Thanks guys - dealing with this now brought on specifically by tennis serving (i.e. an overhead throwing motion). Can you comment on how you would combine these massages with strengthening exercises (e.g. using a small dumbbell for wrist flexion, and pronation) along with a heat and/or ice? I'm just not clear on what a full "program" would look like for rehab.
This helped so much, thank you
Thank you that helped so much
Thank you! Had surgery on my wrist after open comp fracture 18 months ago. Implants and screws. Hard to print...or text. Hoping this gives relief. THX!!!
I got it from sweeping / mopping houses...classic overuse injury for me. I had to use the air cast and voltaren gel.
thank you good sirs, as always
Maybe someone can tell me if this makes sense: Since the healing rate is slow because there is no blood supply directly to the cells which repair the damage, the main thing is to remove any waste products due to damaged tissue removal, and replace the contaminated fluids with clean oxygenated fluids. So I'm thinking one strategy might be to put direct pressure onto as much of the affected tissue as possible, to squeeze fluid out, maintain that pressure for a little while so that the blood and lymph surrounding the tissue can carry that fluid away, then release to allow the cartilage to reabsorb fresher cleaner fluid. I'm not sure how quickly fluid would be forced out, washed away, or reabsorbed, so I don't know about the timing. Of course if the pain is intense, this might not work for some, but in my own injury the amount of pain produced by this direct pressure actually feels good.
Thank you so much Guys!
Excellent, thanks.
My right forearm is very sore after constant repetition usage. Especially the
Brachioradialis muscle all the way to the elbow. Any going tips to fix? Thanks
You guys are great, thank you for all of you videos. I must say though the matching sweatpants, not so much :)
Thank you!
Sorry hadn't got to end yet thanks for prevention ideas
I have pain from playing tennis that has not gone away for a year on the inside of my elbow, and my tricep hurts, it feels like it pops when I load it with weight. Should I cross fiber massage my forearm or tricep? Thanks love the channel btw yall are great!!!
Appreciate you guys been watching couple months..?question? Is there stretches etc..that can help prevent this..I do alot of weed eating (3 acres) I'm usually very sore next day
Golfer’s elbow refers to inflammation of the wrist flexor muscles, also known as medial epicondylitis (because flexor Carpi radialis and Ulnaris originate on the medial epicondyle of humerus). I would probably maybe even suggest stretching of the wrist flexors and do some ROM exercises immediately after (especially because stretching can improve ROM)
Not extensors?
Very helpful--thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Yes the cross fiber treatment reduces the pain in 30 seconds. I get pain in that location from tennis. Been using ice, this is faster.
How long should one do these for before noticing a difference? A week? Month?...Can I still lift weights with this or should I wait? Thanks!
Hi guys. How many times a week should I do the aggressive self massage? Thank you
Thank you for this! I've just developed pain in the area you've described. I've been playing golf for a long time but have never had any pain. However, I've just started learning the guitar and I am experiencing pain-in the fretting arm-after practice. Is it safe to assume the pain is solely from the guitar vs from golf? Thanks again!
I have this but from cycling. Is that possible
Thank you, Bob and Brad, this has helped my problem amazingly! Interestingly, the "tender spots" moved about my arm as I massaged each away - in the end, there were four spots I had to rub away at. Don't know how to explain that. But now my arm is back to normal after six or seven months of agony (caused by a lot of typing, I suspect). Enjoy your videos even apart from the therapeutic tips, by the way. Greetings from Germany!
All of this sounds correct however my pain is on the bone and about an inch behind it I.e on the upper arm as opposed to the forearm. Is this likely golfers elbow too?
Amazing! Thanks!
Our pleasure!
Mine hurts on top of the forearm. Any massages for that?
This works!!
Is it okay to continue working out when you have the golfer's elbow?
That works so good. Thank you very much
I play metal drums (fast tempos), lift weights and box/Muay Thai regularly. All of which I attribute to my golfers elbow. Should I stop these activities?
What about hot/cold creams or pads?
How do you fix a sore shoulder?
Wow 30 seconds with the cross fiber massage on my elbow and patella and there's hardly any pain!
Thanks guys!
I have it from bass fishing and it’s very painful. I’m on blood thinner so I can’t take Ibuprofen or NSAIDS for it and Tylenol doesn’t help.

Can we strengthen tendons?
How to heal arm. arm wrestling at same point ( golfer)but the musle is displace
I have tenderness ABOVE the elbow joint, not below, do I do the same massage there?
Me too, have the same question!
Same question!
Same here!
I have a strong continuous pain in the outer side of my elbow and lower armside. The doctor told me that I have Tennis elbow syndrome ( tendonitis), but I don't have any pain in the inside of my lower forearm. Is it the same thing or it's called by another name?😕
This video was about golfer’s elbow, the inside. Your pain is called tennis elbow, on the outside of the elbow. The mechanism of injury is the same, just different tendons and muscles on the opposite side.
That took a strange turn there. 🤣😂
Lol where do I go to find out what the “surprise” was ?😂
Thank you I'll give it a shot. Working out at 40 isn't like it was at 20lol
I have golfer's elbow with nerve compression, I'm hurting just watching this. 😅
Do pianists get golphers elbow typically? thanks
I'm a pianist that experiences golfer's elbow in both arms. Mine is definitely playing-related.
@@michaelayottemusic Thanks for your reply. I'm an intermediate piano student, really falling in love with the piano but I guess I have lousy technique as my hands feel sprained often.
I got this from golfing and throwing a fishing pole
got golfers elbow while armwrestling
This would have been so helpful 15 years ago when I gave myself golfer’s elbow because of excessive crocheting lmao
How did you clear it off?
@@thomasl6912 lots of physiotherapy and meds
15 years of golfers elbow!? Good grief you had a battle. I’m currently heading in towards 7 months. And it hurts like hell when it’s in a particular position.
@@GhadSpeed oh no, it didn’t last 15 years, I’m fine now (still can’t crochet or knit for more than half an hour or so at a time, but yeah, mostly fine now)
Do you have a study that proves or supports your massage theory or is this just a theory? Because the inflammation is what hurts, then you rub on the inflamed muscle/tendon to make it better? Rest, ice, taking it easy on exercises that further inflame the area is what works best for most. And Advil.
For chronic ongoing golfers/tennis elbow, it's well known that they won't get better with rest
If resting was the solution most of the time, people wouldn't be going to physio therapists as much as they do for these injuries.
Also know as fed ex package handlers elbow.
Get really super grippy gloves- not the ones Fed Ex gives to you. I got mine at Dollar General
Can this be caused by using a computer mouse?
I would think so. I worked for 20 years doing computer work. Guess what I have? Yep Golfers Elbow
when people have pain in both arms they are not going to put stress on one arm to help the other. and that automatic massager your holding with a painful arm isnt make the arm holding feel any better. Even if you have one pain free healthy arm doing the massaging it wont be for long after putting all that stresss on it trying to dig into the tissue of that bad arm.
5th like. 😊
“Self massage” 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣….. self massage is what gave me golfers elbow to begin with! All that repeated motion! 🤣🤣 ok I am done with the filthy mind but needed to laugh. I hope that made you laugh as well. Anyway, I found this video bc I am 99.9% sure I have golfers elbow. At first I thought it was tennis elbow but upon further review I found the differences, slight in reading but profound AF in feeling. 🧐… that should be on a T-shirt maybe.. anyway I am at the ice phase. There is no way I am going to allow the area to be touched and I am not hammer ready at all at this time. My fingers go numb and the swelling is totally real all the way to my fingers. It’s such BS but I can say that I WOULD actually wish this on my worst enemy bc it really really sucks! Thanks guys for the informative video! I will subscribe!
Static hanging hold in pull up /chin up position.
Your welcome.
All the way down with stretched elbows ?
@@gaspervrankar65 locked out elbows ( flex your Triceps) focus on contracting your Triceps ( mind muscle connection ) do 1 minute static holds.
I love the part the massage gun can save your marriage or you can use the balls ❤
I had a Doctor tell me to just stop doing the things that cause pain. Find other things to do.
Sure... your elbow hurts from “golfing”..
Are you guys drunk...?
No, this is a family show. Just issues with speech after an oral surgery. Brad
