@bowie1921 That was done on purpose. Jack witnessed all the eras of the Overlook hotel merging into one. If you look closely in the background, you will see some 1940's 50s and 60s outfits.
I just can't believe how badly this has been done. Not taking the original clip from the movie, but crudely slapping an original scratched recording of Masquerade on top of the footage from the movie. In the dubbing theatre, Bill Rowe and Stanley had to work on the track, as I'd laid it up, to get the ambience just right. I was slightly scared that it wouldn't work, because it was an old mono track with quite bad record noise, but Bill Rowe and Ray Merrin did a superb job with the filtering and echo effects.
