I've got it in a medium twsbi eco and it's performing very well for such a pale ink. It's not my jam, but it's very good for a pale ink. This calendar has definitely been a whole shades of grey thing. They're not going to have anything left to do if they decide to do a grey calendar! 🤣
Thank you for your work! Just some ideas at least for new to fountain pen people, it will be if you make a video with examples of wet inks & one for dry inks and what it really means. Another cool video for me could we about inks for long writing that you can actually read! There are so many beautiful inks that you show, but you can use them for art but are useless for writing 😢. Thank you and happy holidays from Argentina!
I loved this ink. The brown/gray with gold shimmer is an amazing combo. I had it in a TWISBI with a fine point in November and don't remember flow issues. I did write a note that it would probably do better in a medium or broad nib. So there must have been a bit of dryness. I'll try it in some other pens soon to see how it performs but love this color enough to want a bottle of this ink.
The murky green-brown range is one I have terrible with. I like Rohrer & Klinger "Lily" though. It's a very narrow band of hue that works for me. Same with orange. But I love almost ALL blue blacks!
I am surprised by the comparison, but I can see it! I think Nutmeg is a bit warmer. I like Muddy Puddle more right now though haha. Maybe it is a first love situation? haha 😂
@@mydandeliondiaries I'm partial to Muddy Puddle but we'll see how Nutmeg does in a pen. I also LOVE Dusted Truffle so this is a great addition to that family.
I really liked this color a lot. But muted colors are my thing. Oh on a side note. BPC Pondweed was in fact wrong on the website but they have updated the recipe. I like the wrong version also though, so I kept the recipe so I can make that one again.
As you were going through the browns, I saw a brown and was Oooooo what's that brown?! Then realized it was Colorverse Coffee Break ( the only brown I own) and I laughed and said to myself," Yup. That checks out." Lol 😂😅 I do like Nutmeg! 😊
I feel like something is slightly off with it. I'm not sure if it is the shimmer color or what, but I think it is missing something. It is really pretty though!
@mydandeliondiaries yaaassss make add some sheen in there, or have a yellow undertone... just something with gold sparkle that's warm and dark and not dry lol 😭
I was in love with this color, but another dry ink just really aggrivates me!!! Out of the year I've been in the FP community, I've only heard one person say they like dry inks. 😑😑
@@AlongfortheThrill oh lol. Yes because I'm only partaking here, so it's almost entirely delightful lol. I quick spoilered myself and opted not to order. I got myself an ombre Innova instead lol
@krys6461 nice!!! I bought both boxes and have seriously loved the Diamine. If I get too pressed about the dry inks, I'll just put in some white lightning, but it stresses me out to do it because I'm afraid I'll mess up lmao
When I swatched the ink this morning there was a glorious sunrise that made the shimmer sparkle as if it came from heaven, so I particularly like it
😍😍 That sounds so beautiful!

Hahaha I love how you called it a shade of grey calendar 😂

Great suggestions!! Thank you!! Happy holidays! 😊

That is good to know!! Thank you for sharing!!

It is a unique color haha. I think Chilly Nights from this calendar would be right up your alley!
I thought of my beloved Muddy Puddle as soon as I swatched this one. I haven't compared swatches in person yet. They do look similar as expected.

I am so surprised we have had only one brown thus far. And I LOVE browns. Maybe some are yet to come????
With only a few days left who knows! I do think there are a lot less browns and a lot more neon colors this year.

The wrong recipe I like haha
@ Me too! I named it murky pondweed haha

Coffee Break is so lovely!!
This one was interesting, it's not bad
BPC - Sandstone
Pilot Iroshizuku - Ina Ho (!!!)
Troublemaker - Tuslob Buwa
Diamine - Muddy Puddle

Love the color but my pens don’t like dry ink😢
If you haven't already, give white lightning a chance! A drop can make a HUGE difference in a dry ink.
I like this ink, but I have been craving a nice rich brown, and this could have been a great opportunity for that. I vlame dusted truffle lol 😅
I'd love a dark brown with shimmer. Like Cocoa shimmer but make it different!

This one is beautiful. But if their nutmeg looks like this I hope they're ok. Nutmeg the real spice shouldn't be green or shimmery lol
Hahah yeah...I think real nutmeg is bit darker too. I do like the shade though :)

I really really dislike wet inks, I'd prefer dry over too wet any day.
@krys6461 well I hope you're happy with this box then 🤣

i super prefer dry inks over wet ones too ^^; we do exist i swear! but no, i can definitely see how frustrating it must be!
it's giving meh
