I would love to see some B-roll of your garden/menagerie. :) We purchased 22 acres here in South TX in July and are going to build our homestead on it. I'm already planning my garden space. It's about 1/4 of an acre already. LOL

I have purchased therosielifeplanner dated they also have undated which I did last year it’s exactly like the cousin but with blank pages same size a5 and quartile pages trackers and more pluse daily pages so I recorded for 2025 and then I wanted to try a new size so I purchased a wonderland all in one. Stacked b6 planner I have a weeks type planner form the Rosie life planner and love that I’m also looking towards a a6 idk I need them all but 4 is plenty for me

Oooh this grouping is so fun and autumnal! I definitely understand the full bottle temptation for Witch, what a beautiful ink. I also liked the blue one, it reminds me I've got to get out a more tropical ink for the (Southern Hemisphere) summer.

Agree about Pelikan pens and other $175 and over pens as well. The manufacturers are not fine tuning their nibs before sending the pens out to retailers. My $3.50 Pilot Varsity and $5.00 Preppy write much smoother than my Pelikan Souveran , my Montegrappa Elmo 2 , and both my Leonardo Momento Zeros. You retailers who read this need to get on these manufacturers to tune their nibs properly. Customers need to either boycott or send pens back so retailers get the message. I myself am refusing to buy anymore expensive pens!Who cares if a pen is pretty if you do not like the way it writes? Customers SHOULD NOT have to pay an additional $30-$60 to have an expensive brand new pen tuned. Sorry for the diatribe but you’re the 3rd vlogger to diss the Pelikan 200 for the lousy nib. Love that Nostalgic honey ink BTW. It’s a great shader and works well in a Faber Castell Hexo, another inexpensive pen that writes better than all my pricier pens.

I’ve tried most types of popular fountain pen-friendly papers (aside from Leuchtturm1917), and so far, my three favorite papers to write on are Tomoe River 68gsm, Sakae Iroful, and Midori MD. In terms of cheap paper, I like Kokuyo Campus Loose Leaf Sarasara and Vietnamese-made Calibre for CVS paper. As far as Apica Paper is concerned, it’s a very hit-or-miss brand to me. CD Premium Gentleman works well with drier and well behaved inks like Waterman, but anything wetter than that, and it bleeds horribly. Standard CD paper ironically works better. Rhodia and Clairefontaine paper are quite bleed and finger oil resistant, though they don’t sheen or shade that well, and tend to feel too “stuttery” with drier inks like Lamy and Waterman. Maruman Mnymosene falls in line between Rhodia and Apica paper, with the coated feel of Rhodia, but slightly better bleed resistance than Apica. I’m personally not a big fan of these slick-coated papers, though, so I’m somewhat biased. For journaling, my absolute favorite papers to use are Midori MD and Life Noble. They are very resistant to ghosting, show through and bleeding, pretty much all pens feel great with them, and they are great for writing on both sides of the paper. Life Noble is less toothy and sheens more, but is slightly more susceptible to finger oils than Midori. I’m currently using a Sakae Technical Paper Tomoe River 68GSM cream colored A6 dot notebook for my daily planner and Life Noble lined A5 notebook for journaling, but since 2023, I’ve used Midori MD A5 journals, and will be using the Midori MD 1 Page 1 Day A5 Diary for 2025. When it comes to paper feel and showing off ink, however, Sakae Iroful A5 loose leaf paper is my absolute favorite. It is susceptible to fingerprints, so it’s not great for journaling, but every ink and nib I’ve used on it has been absolute magic.

Hi. First timer here. Thank you for the ideas for a Garden Planner. 😄 I usually use a Hobonichi HON for everyday planning and my garden planner is usually a beat up random notebook. It never crossed my mind to use a Weeks. I might try it for 2025 ! Thanks

Are you in the UsA? Only snow in February sounds lovely. Here in Sweden (mid Sweden is where i live) we can expect snow at end October/early november. 2020 and 2021 (i think. Two years in a row it was!) we had our first snow on Oct 20! That would actually be fun to track somehow! More than "first snow of the year"

A diamond painting stylus would work well for the rhinestones and I would have used Loctite gel instead of E6000 I hate that stuff takes too long to dry

I keep my inked pens in a little china tray that belonged to my grandmother. At work, it's a desk tray from Staples (Poppin 6"x9"). My uninked pens are in clear acrylic drawers from Canadian Tire that I lined with felt. Bottles are in wooden pantry organizers. How do you keep track of all your inks?

i love what you've done with the cover! have you tried weaving the washi tape into something like a pie lattice so it looks more like patchwork
