It's got to be challenging for Diamine to come up with original inks when almost everything has been done. That said, I still love this ink. Olive greens are one of my fav inks. Olive green with gold shimmer is divine.
I agree that there is a challenge with these! But I'm always impressed with how many "new" colors they can come up with. There were quite a few this year!
Seriously, this color was a relief to see. It's not loving being in a stub nib for me so I'm probably moving it to a broad or medium, but I am loving this color enough that I'll do that! It's not very pine like but it's nice!
This is such a pretty color. I just ordered my first Twsbi eco today. I’m pretty new to the fountain pen and ink world. Are these inks exclusive to this box? I’ve seen a few I would like but don’t want to buy the whole box. Thanks.
Hi, Diamine usually in the new year will release the small bottles from the inkvent you can purchase separately, but then they release larger bottles later on too. So you will be able to purchase what you like separately. Hope you enjoy the new world of fountain pens and ink. There is a lot of good content on youtube about them and inks too. 👍 hope you enjoy the twisbi eco too.
Diamine will release all of these inks in 50 mL bottles in 2025 but not for months. I heard that there is a retailer that sells the little bottles from the calendar. I don't remember which one.
Congrats on your first TWSBI and welcome to the fountain pen community! Like the others have stated, they will release full bottles later in 2025. If memory serves, it is usually in the July/August. 😊
Lovely, gives me more summery vibes tho. If they wanted 'pine' it should've been more cool toned Pilot - Light Green Kobe - 67 Ogo Farm Green Sailor Manyo - Ukikusa Robert Oster - Hemp BPC - Algae Bloom, Lily Pad Diamine - Meadow Sailor Ink Studio - 867 FWP - Emerald Gardens, Sunlit Jade
One od my favorite inks from this year calendar.

Super pretty! I definitely agree that it's more of a spring green, but gorgeous nonetheless!
I agree!

I am happy to have a brighter green for sure! And the shimmer in this has a nice compliment to the color for sure.
I was happy to see a green, and I knew you would be, too. I immediately thought of Diamine Meadow when I saw it but it isn't as similar as I expected.
I think Meadow is fairly close, but a bit more green. I like Pine Needle, and the shimmer is really nice.

I would have liked it a tad darker, but it's a nice ink
Good thing with lighter inks you can mix darker colors in them and make them whatever you want!
I was pleased because it's a shimmer❤ and not blue or purple lmao
Hahah it is a great green 💚

I agree! Pine is usually like a blue toned dark green for me. But I do like this one 😊
It’s not pine to me either, but it’s lovely.
I agree!
