Mangoes go on sale near me roughly twice a year. Every time they do I buy 10 or so to make mango jam (very low sugar version) mangoes have a lot of their own pectin so sets up great. I cut mine like your first one. Except I cut the skin off the pit then use a spoon to shear off the meat over my pan. So many yummy juices there. I leave my whole fruits in a big paper bag for a few days cuz mangoes here are rarely ripe when you buy them.
I cut off each cheek and then push it up against the glass to separate the skin. When I worked at a juice bar I'd use the edge of the blender, then then the other side of the skin that's left on the pit part you can just peel off and eat right off of it
be careful with the really soft ones because there’s the risk of being overripe get a firmer one if ur not ina rush for it to be ripe always looks for red and yellow colour spots means it got lots of sun and will be sweet
mangos in Egypt are better than any wife any friend any girlfriend any boyfriend if I can marry one of these Egyptian mangos I'll do it and the skin is edible too😍😍🇪🇬
Nooo, the end is horrible. Either just eat the cubes straight off the skin, or if you need them in a dish, scoop them out with a spoon, like you would with an avocado! Don't do it like in the video lmao.
Now thats a definition of "nothing go to waste"
He let the skin go to waste but other than that you’re right 😅
@@fightsportspace7327only way to not do that is use the skin for compost or feed it to the squirrels
Y'all realize mango skin is edible, right? Sure it's thicker than an apple's skin but it's perfectly edible
yeah but it kinda ruins the taste tbh just because its edible doesnt mean it will taste good
Yea and it has nutrition
Mango skin with condensed milk is really good, wash the mango really well though
@@kit012 yeah better feed it to goat or cow or some other animal (not too much obviously)
Yes, but it’s also very unpleasant to eat because of the taste.
Eating the mango pit is the definition of peak childhood
I love the way u eat mango, which is exactly the way I eat it too.
BRO DEVOURED THAT MANGO PIT
Best video on how to cut a mango!!
I eat the peel,it is actually nutrisious and contains lots of vitamin apparently
Love to eat it
(Yes it is safe,do not worry)
Yes yes yes this is ky favorite part too !!! I remember growing up me and my cousins would fight for this part 🤣🤣
how tf do you eat the center without getting mango fibers all in your teeth
“So cute”😂
I'm about to send this video to my cousin who THROWS the pit away because they don't like it ☠️
NOOOOOO! Not the rib!
I pray they at least eat the extra mango still on the pit 😭
For a second I thought bro just bit into the seed 😂
a true mango connoisseur
My aunt has a mango tree and I just pick them and eat them like apples.

Why you sound like David Crocker off of fairly odd parents 😂😂😂😂
This is exactly how I cut My mangoes but I’m trying to find a better way

That mango is not ripe goddamn
I like to just peel it and go to town on it, sure it's extremely messy but mango is delicious so it's worth it.
The flesh closest to the skin has the most volatile compounds, especially a lot of terpenes, which is what makes it so flavorful
Thx
Can you give me tips on how to pick a good mango? I always seem to grab one with brown inside
be careful with the really soft ones because there’s the risk of being overripe
get a firmer one if ur not ina rush for it to be ripe
always looks for red and yellow colour spots means it got lots of sun and will be sweet
Bro the seeds are freaking huge on the ones i get it takes up like 75% of the firut
Wish I could do that. I have to have someone else cut my mango cuz I'm allergic to the skin and break out in a horrible rash
Same but I'm thinking of its a new thing because I don't remember getting them in chilldhood
The bone is the 🌠best part🌠
Let's just add, it depends on the variety of mango you have.
Don't forget to dice up the skin and compost it.
mangos in Egypt are better than any wife any friend any girlfriend any boyfriend if I can marry one of these Egyptian mangos I'll do it and the skin is edible too😍😍🇪🇬
i do the second one but instead of slicing the cubes off i just gnaw on em
peel the skin with a fruit peeler and make # cuts and cut against the seed. hope that explanation wasn’t terrible lmao.
It’s the *SEEEEEEEED*
Doesn't look like there's any way of keeping clean hands cutting one of these😂
You over here playing Barbie girl dude man up
Gutli for the win!!
Do people usually not it the skin, cause I do it all the time
No pulp should be left
The more you cut the more you loose the juices.
so who's cutting chefs?
Omo
Come to Trinidad and Tobago
Yeah.. Mango is like poison ivy.. I wouldn't put the peel in your mouth lol. Especially if you have a poison ivy reaction
The Mangos we get here are always really stringy and the pit is just huge, I don't buy fresh ones because of that, his mango looks delicious however.
Nobody's heard of a peeler? 0 waste that way
you should just peel it with your fingers and eat it primitive style. i believe that is how fruit should be enjoyed
It's his fingernail for me 😕 like wtf no thank you
Best part?! Go ahead and eat the pit then......
Do you need to wash the mango
No just cut the skin off
I mean the peel
Just eat the skin
mm the bato
that is a fake mango
Nooo, the end is horrible. Either just eat the cubes straight off the skin, or if you need them in a dish, scoop them out with a spoon, like you would with an avocado! Don't do it like in the video lmao.
Eating the pit is so yummy
