    Awesome tutorial :) helped me get the proportions right, I added some ultramarine blue pigment to it and it worked really well to make the foundation more neutral without being grey like before (was also putting too much red in before).

    • @RefinedLook
      @RefinedLook  6 років тому +7

      Zinc oxide is a white mineral powder that doesn't dissolve in water. It's one of the key ingredients in sunscreens and is also often used for first-aid tapes and ointments. Zinc oxide is widely used to treat a wide range of skin conditions, including dermatitis, itching due to eczema, nappy rash and acne....this is some info I just pasted for you...hope this helps...

    Should we wash our face after 2 hours because zinc oxide becomes toxic? I was happy to find this safe foundation and it was great the first time I made it and I love it. But I did research on zinc oxide and found that it was not as safe as I thought it would be. May I know your opinion and any suggestions for me please? 😊❤️

      where did you hear this? zinc oxide is in almost every skincare and makeup product if you check the ingredient.

    This kind of diy doesn't work, because the cream can't stay on skin. Something that helps the cream stick to the skin is missing.

    This is missing a lot of context. You encourage us to keep mixing colors until it matches our skin tone.... how to know? You rub the powder on your skin first? Also, how does this work for coverage, how long does it last? Does it work for dark circles? Please, remove the music next time as it's hard to concentrate on your words.

      hi..no...not really...and most likely you have a different tone to your skin...just add the ingredients slowly and test....it might help to keep evidence to help with next batch...
