@@AlexS_983 Actually, no. Its not that easy. Just that some fields like exercise science are faster to finish your undergrad studies. Still though, I think he has to have skipped a year or more. Argument about someone physique in response to the information they are telling it is one of the most lame things in fitness industry. Especially when there is some guy sitting in oversized T-shirt and speaking on camera and you literally couldnt even see his physique. The fact that people so intellectually deficient (as Mike Israetel puts it lol) that they only can draw the most simple connection like: "More jacked = better method." - is truly infuriating.
And it’s hilarious cause the top coaches for the top bodybuilding pros are literally not even as impressive as Milo. The argument to authority via physique doesn’t even apply in their own critiques.
@@ZenTheMC bad argument, top pros are top pros because of their genetics and response to PEDs. Go train like cbum and and take his peds and see how you look lol

@@Jdm5299 , "Nobody gets jacked being incompetent even if they have amazing genetics" - disagree. Even as a natural, your genetics is real. Yet i can agree, that being muscular by yourself is showing that you not only have theoretical knowledge, but also practical one. Yet for me personally it's more like: "I want to my advisor to look like he been in the gym for year or two." - and for big amount of population it's more like looking like IFBB-pro, which is a problem.
Just watched his newest video and wow the comments is full of hate. I don’t know what is going on. It feels like thy think Milo is so obsessed with the stretch that he is recommending worse exercises just to get the stretch.
Milo sub here. The only critique I can give about milo is that he sometimes falls into the dogmatic rhetoric of some fitness influencers with the videos he puts out (i.e. Why I stopped doing X and you should too)
As a lifter who also happens to be pursuing my PhD in Political Science this glimpse into the academic world of Sports science is super interesting. Milo's academic accomplishments are extraordinary, like prodigy level. No one excels through the stages of the PhD at that age unless they are extremely gifted, hard working, etc. Great clarification and insights in this video.
I wonder if lengthened partials should be compared with full reps using an isokinetic dynamometer or cables to keep constant tension trough the whole ROM. That way you make a more fair comparison because that way it's not partial rep vs complete rep but with significantly less tension at short muscle lengths.
The problem is that he has become like a broken record that says the same shit every video. We understand he preaches the lenghtened position but if you talk as if its the holy grail of bodybuilding and in every video you will become annoying. I'm sure he is a good guy irl , he is passionate about lifting and he is not small at all
It's that his videos are mostly meant to be self-contained. He goes over like 10 core guidelines in almost every video because he wants even people who've never seen his content before to have a good foundation for using - and evaluating - the recommendations.
My main problem is that he is incapable of realizing that only focusing on the stretch biases muscle growth towards the distal region, the one most activated in the stretch. Some exercises will straight forward not activate some muscles if you just do the stretch portion of it, so some exercises become waaay different and less complete. Doing just the stretch will kill anyone's arms aesthetics. There are even studies about this and a video from House of Hypertrophy, but logic should be enough for those who know what I'm talking about. Even if LLP can somehow build the same or more muscle, it's still a horrible option for bodybuilding, a sport in which you want big middle regions (especially in your arms), but never ever huge distal regions. Same problem with Jeff Nippard and, to a lesser extent, Mike Israetel and some of his preferred exercises. We're now focusing solely on the stretch while we forget about its implications... and so we're making everyone build worse physiques in the process.
He's just using click-bait tactics to get his training method communicated. Sure the internet's attention span is like 5 seconds, so if he doesn't get his point delivered, he'll get skipped (natural physique doesn't sell well unfortunately). He'll post a video with a title like "why you shouldn't deadlift" and then explain why Romanian deadlifts have sick stretches, not saying a word on conventional deadlifts lol. And then in another video he does sumo deadlifts, you know, the one with the least amount of stretch. Overall, the advanced lifters will understand the nuances, the beginners will be confused but they can't really ego lift and get injured using his method, and he sold himself out as the "stretch" guy. I just don't like his smug attitude. Tier lists are oversimplified and really dumb content ideas that are really useless in a vacuum for exercise selection.
@@microondasletaldude, you are so wrong. You think his research didn't go through that? I'm sorry but his qualifications do matter in this regard. And he's reasonably good at balancing confidence and humility. Like probably seems arrogant or pretentious to some folks, but he's constantly doing disclaimers and even light-hearted jokes at his own expense. 🤷🏿♂️
Milo is actually quite big. As a big lifter myself and someone who works in artistic fields (cinema and representation), I am often very intrigued as to how people cannot realize the images from the camera and its angles affect your perception dramatically. Yes, Milo has weak points in his arms (bigger than 95% of lifters still) but he is taller than average and he's huge everywhere else. He is shaped like a real V and v-tapper means aesthetics.
He doesnt have amazing genetics, but he has worked his ass off and has better than average gentics. I used to squat 500 at 155 and am a genetic 'freak?' used to power clean almost 3 plates at 17. Both pack and wolf look better than me currently and have exemilfied the addage that consistnacy beats all.

You want to help people, but then you think about the 1000+ ways you could be taken out of context. It’s nuts, but props to both you and Milo for sticking through it and giving us great stuff along the way.
I really dislike university-name bias. People dont realize that getting into a 'prestigious' university most likely means you just had the money to pay more. It doesn't say anything about the individual who graduates because most study peograms are standardized ACROSS THE WORLD. This dumb human resources ahh type of thinking adds to the rates of unemployment.
I hoped for the revenge from putting Dr. Mike Isratal not in S-Tier XD . But of course i like Dr. Milo too and he bringst nice and helpful Content for Lifters, but only in A-Tier Categorie :P!
My problem with Milo is that when it comes to exercise science is that he’s a total hypocrite. He claims to be an empiricist but he’s perfectly willing to extrapolate when it comes to his pet cause, lengthened partials. In every other case he seems content to claim that almost anything that isn’t directly associated with research doesn’t work and shouldn’t be done. He will regularly contradict himself in order to push lengthened partials but then he’s an empiricist the rest of the time.
he once claimed that lunges should be ruled out because of issues with balance and the later on In the same video he recommends sissy squats that LITERALLY require external support to perform. It’s crazy.
@@ksefchik In his most recent video? Here's what he actually said in that video. He said if you have balance issues while doing lunges ("you COULD fall over...ending your set early"), you should try split squats. He also goes on to say, "it's a minor point at best." He then says he prefers split squats because he can get a deeper stretch. He does not, "rule them out." He also goes on to show him HOLDING ON TO A DOOR HANDLE while doing sissy squats when he recommends you COULD do them over leg extensions. Besides that, him recommending sissy squats is in a section about there being no magic bullets for lifting, in which he started by saying the sissy squat isn't a magic bullet (no exercise is). I don't think any of this is contradictory.
I bet all these haters who claim false information about him never did legthened partials ever in their lifting life and never will purely out of spite for Milo Wolf.
Nevermind his physique or info. It's all good. For me its the ultra negativity of the click-bait titles to a small degree, but what really did it was his dedication of an entire video to all the ways he thinks Dr. Mike is wrong, released on the same day that Dr. Mike releases a video where he had Milo on, giving him praise, telling others to give him a follow. Disagreements are totally cool, and expressing opinions that are different or even contrary to those you respect or who have helped you is fine, but there's no need to spend a whole video putting that person's way of thinking down while trying to sound like youre above it all. That really ground my gears. Doesn't matter if Dr. Mike is cool with it. It's still crappy behavior. So nevermind all the other stuff. Just comes across far too arrogant- not to mention the fact that it is true that he never responds to anyone who has disagreement, even when it is valid, such as in one video when his video editor put up a slide showing results of a study that were in direct opposition to what was being stated on screen. I politely asked about the blunder. No answer. Comment deleted. Cool. But you can make whole videos putting down someone who's been helping you out this whole time. Real cool.
The science crowd went a bit too far with lengthened partials imo. Of course the stretch is important, my opinion is just finish the f**** rep. But to hate milo for that is dumb, dudes just trying to find answers
@patrickbronson5117 answers r found from advanced and elite nattys. Studies contradict themselves all the time. Realistically, being consistent, logical progressions, and bulking will get you the most gains. Don't need science to tell you that.
His videos are generally good but he needs to cut out the repetitive lengthened position yada-yada talk at the start of each video by simply giving a link to the one that explains it all in detail, leaving the rest of us to listen just to the relevant stuff.

I find it funny when people say “he (and this applies in many different contexts) just looks like the average lifter.” Uh, that’s a good thing. The ‘average lifter’ is in better shape than the average Joe.
Genuinely not aware of any negative comments. I've got a high opinion of Milo and the information he puts out. Even when I don't fully agree with his takes/opinions, I can appreciate the validity of his arguments. The guy looks great, anyone who says otherwise is straight up lying. Good work looking out for him, Dr Pak; huge respect.
- talk smack about me? Eh, might be worth listening to.
- talk smack about bro? 🤓As we can see on page 1, everything you’ve ever said is wrong, and on page 4 there’s a list of alternative life paths worth considering, based on how wrong you were.
Milo is the malaka 👌
Milo slander is wild bro! 😤 these critics need to go touch grass
I like all of y’all Dr Mike you and wolf. Fuck them people. Ive fucking learned and grown from the 3 of yall and it’s hard ima 44 year old woman. And I am stronger I wanna say due to the stretch under tension. So thank yall
cool. I always thought milo looks mediocre lol now you've open my eyes!
You being my age and having so many credentials is mind blowing. Props Milo. Love your free programs btw🫶🏼
funny to see people lash out on milo because of his literal thumbnails.. overlooking the absolute gold info he's putting out in his vids. Long live the stretch!
When you pick up book titled "astronomy" and there is absolute gold inside but.. about bowling or philosophy it's crap not gold. That's how clickbaits works.
I'm glad he doesn't care. You shouldn't either. When haters hate, it's nothing to do with you and everything to do with how they feel about themselves.
It's the sweaters huh?
Even knowing it had to be clickbait, I just had to know why you “hated” your BFF. 😂
The fame effect is wild, and people are constantly taking you out of context too. You want to help people, but then you think about the 1000+ ways you could be taken out of context. It’s nuts, but props to both you and Milo for sticking through it and giving us great stuff along the way.
But can he lift a stone? The true test of strength lol
You don't like him, then don't buy Myoadapt, leave it for the rest of us!
I hoped for the revenge from putting Dr. Mike Isratal not in S-Tier XD . But of course i like Dr. Milo too and he bringst nice and helpful Content for Lifters, but only in A-Tier Categorie :P!
I hate him because I'm 1.88 meters too and don't look that good
My problem with Milo is that when it comes to exercise science is that he’s a total hypocrite.
Example?
he once claimed that lunges should be ruled out because of issues with balance and the later on In the same video he recommends sissy squats that LITERALLY require external support to perform.
He does not, "rule them out."
He also goes on to show him HOLDING ON TO A DOOR HANDLE while doing sissy squats when he recommends you COULD do them over leg extensions.
After watching this video,my respect for Dr.pac and Dr.milo 📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈👑👑👑🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🕊️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve never seen anyone be insecure on behalf of someone else 😂
Now I hate BOTH of you. Kidding, Muscle and Feels crew checking in. #grindset.
Real cool.
Ad Hominems are my life
1:44 hahahaha I feel you Pak
Well said 👍👍👍
Μη μασάτε μάγκες, συνεχίστε γερά ότι κάνετε!
the issue is he is so obssesed with the Stretch and lengthen partials, and it gets boring. Specially if the studies dont support his obsession
no idea what you're referring to or what lemgthened bartials are
And I have de paper to prove it 😂.
Wait? You guys are related biologically?😊
All humans are
@@Tocinos nonsense. That's not how biology works.
Great video, but the misleading title is annoying.
Had to do it bro 😅
The science crowd went a bit too far with lengthened partials imo. Of course the stretch is important, my opinion is just finish the f**** rep. But to hate milo for that is dumb, dudes just trying to find answers
@patrickbronson5117 answers r found from advanced and elite nattys. Studies contradict themselves all the time. Realistically, being consistent, logical progressions, and bulking will get you the most gains. Don't need science to tell you that.
Dont we all
You and your friend are the real thing. Ωραίος
Dr.Pak is too social :) dont know is it good or bad
His videos are generally good but he needs to cut out the repetitive lengthened position yada-yada talk at the start of each video by simply giving a link to the one that explains it all in detail, leaving the rest of us to listen just to the relevant stuff.
