i dont collect guard, but i love being able to make the bulk troops look more unique than just, 20 copies of the exact same dude. hopefully we see similar kits to turn your guardsmen into other flavours. or even whole similar upgrades for whole other armies, it wont really work with the current monopose Orks, but something like Genestealers getting some customisation could be cool.
7:39 There are Sandbags in the 9th edition Guard sets as well. Bought the Cadia Stands set, and as far as decorations go, there were 2 Sandbags for 10 Cadian Shock troops and a damaged one for your company commander to stand on (though there is an alternative in the set). Problem is, they were too big for my figures so I placed them around one of my Bombast Guns.
I'm not really into Magic, but I still used to watch your magic videos because I enjoy your videos in general. These Warhammer videos have been great, thanks PK!
The Black Templars upgrade sprue is actually closer to the Guard upgrade than it is to the other space marine sprues. Though this might even blow that one out of the water!
Lol I collected Tau and now Custodes and I never really fell in love with the modelling side of the hobby. I really struggle to paint an army and rn half my collection are greys. I don't really play anymore but my opponents must have hated playing greys, respect to those who put in this much effort.
Orks (particularity orks from the late 90's up to just before the Speed Freeks box came out) are great for customization and kitbashing. That ball and socket waist and neck design and their interchangeable arms are just chef's kiss genius for making the army your own. Nearly all those plastic sets: boyz, lootaz, stormboyz, and the odd ladz you got on the vehicle kits had interchangeable bits. The same goes for the flash gitz and nobs, and various gretchin, and all of their Warhammer Fantasy counterparts. All that combined with the in-universe lore about them stealing things from other armies to use themselves basically trains you to become a better kit-basher. Orks were the first army I started, and they will be the last army I complete (if ever I do complete them).
the guy in the bottom is a tank commander but it is rumored that it could be Knight Commander Pask but given he is not in the codex makes it highly doughtful it is him but it is strikingly close to his old model
I love how crisp the new boyz kit is. Even at monopose they have all different poses so its not weird to have repeats Just glad they are not all twerking
You used to be able to swap bits from the "classic" boys kit with the kits for burners, storm boyz, lootas, etc. It takes a lot more work to customize them now.
Just want to point out that on the article they say that it comes with enough heads for a whole squad of ten, so most likely everything is ×2 on the box
I believe the gas mask helmets are plastic versions of the Hazardous Environment heads from FW. I love this sprue so much! I'm not going to stop buying Victoria Miniatures or statuesque miniatures for head-swaps, but I do love this sprue
I would love to see something like this for Sororitas, especially given that the new trailer for a new Warhammer animation showed that sisters are capable of having the visors of their helmets tipped up to expose their faces similar to the helmets of medieval knights. That would be an awesome head option to include in an upgrade sprue for Sororitas.
@@pkswarroom that’s good to know so thanks. I’m relatively new to Sororitas as an army so I haven’t bought that many kits (that and I prefer to paint space marines so I tend to buy marine kits instead). I’ll have to look into this a further as I’m interested in painting that kind of Sororitas helmet.
I wish GW would sell a sprue that is just 10 female heads. I always want to build a full female detachment just to annoy the fuck out of the more crusty portion of the playerbase.
I've wanted to get some imperial guard but the box sets I've seen at my local Warhammer store look like they where designed 30 years ago and the quality just doesn't compare to the more modern stuff.
Tiny spanner is dark and faces down with a little square cut out of it for the little square to go in aka scorpion sting

There's lots of character here. Just regular soldiers but they look like individuals with their own stories

The cylinder that you were like “idk” is a Ww2 German style gas mask container.

I disagree, good poses, but it's noticable when 2 boxes are side by side
Yeah. They should have allowed easy customisation, instead of the effort it takes to headswap them.

Those do already exist iirc

It's also similar to the black templar kit but better
CADIA STANDS! 👊
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the new dataslate as well!
Pretty sure he’s just a tank commander

ADEPTUS CUSTODES UPGRADE SPRUE
Oh fuck. Yes please. And it's just them sitting around being philosophers and shit.
I've wanted to get some imperial guard but the box sets I've seen at my local Warhammer store look like they where designed 30 years ago and the quality just doesn't compare to the more modern stuff.
I don't give a shit about the Guard and this made me SO happy! I know all the Guard players are hyped and that makes me happy as well, so we all win!
FUCK! I want this!
/yourdudes/ moment
pls continue to preach the word of convertionism
A SoB upgrade sprue would be incredible! It's about time non-spez Marines get some
would buy 3 of them literally immediately if they did that
Best upgrade sprue I’ve seen is the Ravenwing one. £12 for 2 vehicle upgrade sprues
You talk at a good speed. Thanks
As crazy as it may seem to people but hear me out. I think GW has been listening to a point.
Unfortunately I think it will be 20 quid at least. Love ur content tho 😊
you talk too fast
You listen too slow.
Try 0.75x speed, then
@@pkswarroom lol ok don't take feedback xD
you talk too slow. Thanks.
lol female soldiers and sandbags. Great stuff lmao
Real comment, since you love mini stuff you should check out @missminilife she's great
