I was unmedicated for years and wondering why I was always so fatigued and had times of extreme creativity and other days I'd be too depressed to do anything. Rob, Andrew, you probably won't read this. But, These videos have helped me so much mentally. Last year I found the 2023 Album in a Day just about a week after reconnecting with my friend whom I wrote and recorded all of my bands over the years with. I had been over 7 years since I'd heard from him after he vanished from my life without a clue why. It also just so happens I was being diagnosed at 31 with ADHD and figuring out why I have some of the episodes I have since I was around 14. I stopped writing or really doing anything musically for those 7 years because I can't produce or record. I'm a writer, not a producer or studio guy. Soon as he was back, the spark came back to me and I wrote 12 songs. 8 of which I am proud of, and will hopefully be recording soon. Maybe even with that friend involved. Because he came back, that was enough to inspire me to write again. I'd be lying if I said what you guys have is unlike what I feel myself and my buddy have. Even though he and I both struggle with things, and I may be a little better at hiding it at times, it's just nice to see that dynamic a bit in some other people. It makes me feel like I'm not so alone in what I go through. Anyways, love that this one came out so video game inspired. Usually is a song I still bop and this one has so many cool sounds on it. I love Track 2 the most (Haven't learned the titles yet but I'm sure I will)
When rewatching I couldnt unhear some of the parts they were so good. It is crazy how much variety yet flow there is in the songs. The writing is so exciting yet emotional. You guys always somehow out do youself. I can only imagine if you guys made a album with unlimited time.
So glad to see Rob doing better. He's clearly such a good dude, who deserves happiness. His openness about his struggles is a huge inspiration to me. Also, the new haircut looks really great!
Seeing Rob smile so much makes me so darn happy. Heart warmed. Also this album is FIRE, and also, huge shoutout to Ruccia. On top of all of the work he has, his energy is infectious.
It’s not just seeing you happy doing this, but watching those closest to you getting to see you be happy doing what you love and enjoy it with you, that is gratifying. You’ve come a long way, and those who were there to help you are getting to share in this with you. Congratulations to all of you!
Great to see Rob running at full steam again. I'm so /glad/ you were able to discover your problems with bipolar and get them under control (I mean I'm sad that you were affected by it, but I'm glad that when it did impact you it impacted in with people who could support you, you learned a lot about it, and were then able to get on the road of recovery). Another awesome album.
Rob, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see you feeling like yourself again, and loving the music that you and Andrew make. All the love in the world, from a fellow Illinois native
I don't know which is more "First of October" -- Rob and Andrew in different rooms working on different songs, or when there are like four people in the booth at once. Love y'all, see you next year
Watching Rob, Andrew, Rob, and Company every year have so much joy with this project is so infectious. I look forward to this every year and I hope they keep going. I love everyone involved and it's so heart warming to see Mr. Scallon back to himself this year
Watched it through and through. Seeing you so excited for the project again makes me so happy after the last time, such a fun video. Love it so much. As someone involved in chiptune I smiled when I saw the gear too!!! Yall's energy is unmatched, this vid is like a huge ball of positivity that I very much needed to hit my face brutally. Good stuff.

47:44 seeing Tamara getting emotional about Rob's reflection is so heartwarming T-T
Man it's actually so incredibly nice to see Rob feeling better. This might be my favourite FoO album ever!!
I love the use of the sound chip, it just is so nostalgic
It’s not just seeing you happy doing this, but watching those closest to you getting to see you be happy doing what you love and enjoy it with you, that is gratifying. You’ve come a long way, and those who were there to help you are getting to share in this with you. Congratulations to all of you!
I think you guys created a new genre.... GREGGAE!!! 🎉
I can't describe how much joy and inspiration this gives me. By the end of the video I had half a song in my head. Gonna start recording now.
Rob, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see you feeling like yourself again, and loving the music that you and Andrew make. All the love in the world, from a fellow Illinois native
I kinda love a friendship bracelet that says "Let's Fight"
I don't know which is more "First of October" -- Rob and Andrew in different rooms working on different songs, or when there are like four people in the booth at once.
Love y'all, see you next year
Oh my gosh, I've been eagerly awaiting this year's version by rewatching all the previous ones!
Not the only one. Surely there’s a visible bump in the view data before the new ones get released
Watching Rob, Andrew, Rob, and Company every year have so much joy with this project is so infectious. I look forward to this every year and I hope they keep going. I love everyone involved and it's so heart warming to see Mr. Scallon back to himself this year
Love how the audio engineer from the first one is just part of the team now
Watched it through and through.
Good stuff.
WE’RE SO BACK!
I always look forward to these every year, so joyous to see you all so happy with the process ❤
It's my favorite part of the year! You guys always kill these! Thank you so much❤
Man there’s a couple really amazing tracks on here. Really glad to see you continue this every year, keep up the great work Rob and Andrew ❤️
Let's gooooooooooooooo (or fooooooooo?) Been looking forward to this for so long, love everything about this year's album!
Genuine love for this project, makes me revisit these albums every year for a small while. See you guys next October!
Finally, the best UA-cam band has comeback with a new album! ❤
You guys are the only childhood youtubers I still watch, it amazes me that if it weren't for you guys I would've never been a musician. And if it wasn't for FOO I would never have the courage to write my own album
