I have one with an under quilt. I have been out in rain storms and snow -7’used it in hammock and ground roll..never have I got wet or cold. This transformed my wild camping!!
@Prometheus669 nah I just double checked, 3 in 1 nightcat hammock has no "pro version" And can be used on ground. Idk what your on about but I own it and have been using it for 2 years this way
@@harleystewart4270 Agree comfy waterproof hammock , it shows the sleeping pad sleeve as one of the options on the website and definitely performs in the trees or on the flat ground either way 👌
I have this. I can attest that it is 100% waterproof. I set it up in my yard and let my 2 year old boy spray it with the garden hose. Deer camp 2022 here I come!
It's very waterproof on the rain fly , just would likely soak up water if you set it as a ground bivy on damp land or in a puddle , Comfy , spacious , fairly light and durable , definitely recommend especially if you've liked cheaper hammocks this is so much better 👍
i have been aiming in on this tent for some time now. I am planning to walk around my country for a bit and need a small nice tent and the fact that this can be used as a hammock as well to get off the ground is fantastic to get away from the tics and ants and whatever else. And it seems fairly light weight to carry. The only worry i have heard is that mosquitos can bite through the underside if you don't have anything extra to lay on. it being affordable is really nice though
Wish they'd change the logo to black or green instead of white I've already went over mine with a waterproof black marker makes a big difference imo and I add a second folded tarp underneath to act as a shelf to keep your shoes bags ect off the ground ✌️
Well I just ordered the Snugpak Jungle Hammock w/mosquito netting - will be my first experience with a hammock, and I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces. I do have a 10x12 ft tarp, but I like the rain fly that attaches directly to yours. I was thinking it'd make for a good Bivy before you put it down there. Good show mate !
Just got mine super happy, when hunting for a few days this is a brilliant sleeping set up , this little bag and a sleeping bag jobs done and plenty of room left in my back pack for food and spare clothes
I'm going to be doing some coastal touring and the wind can be quite bad beside the sea. I really wanted a freestanding setup but I like hammocks to sleep in. I will experiment with carrying an extra tent pole so it can go over the hammock lengthways to hold the ends out. But the autumn cammo and having two relatively high poles for space inside makes it better than a standard bivvi for me. The only downside for me is the weight.
I keep lookin fer the person that makes a torture test vid on this hoop hammock.i would love ta see it sprayed with a hose or actually in the rain.... Nice review...
I own one, and it handles the rain quite well. You wanna make sure you're perpendicular to the main winds (stay dry), versus parallel (staying ventilated) They don't like sparks, so keep them well away from your campfire.
You can always carry a small cheap tarp and place it near for you're cook station for bad weather days are even just pull out the door tarp on the hammock for a little poarch shelter/cook area happy camping good review you should check out there latest flat night cat hammock looks like a nice bit of kit safe 👍🏻
@Truthwillalwayswinoverlies I agree with you mostly, except with allowing this hammock tent ANYWHERE near a fire. This tent doesn't do well with sparks. Otherwise it is a fantastic unit, used it a bunch last summer and twice already this year camping without the dogs

Also has a sleeve in bottom part for a sleeping pad
Best purchase for hiking
That's the pro version, which also says it cannot be used on the ground

How durable is the material, Jeb? Also, how extensive is the condensation during the night?

Looks like I may be adding one of these to my ever expanding collection of tents and shelters - great content as ever!

Good reviews
That looks like a cool bit of kit very interested 👌
The night Cat is very similar to the Lawson Hammock.
Excellent review. Also, the pro version has a sleeping mattress slot. However it also says it cannot be used on the ground like this modle can.
If got night cat sleeping pad do in need underquil for fall camping, great video subscribed from BC Canada 🇨🇦
Evening mate, nice gear.. 👍🇬🇧🔥

Do you suggest night cat hammock or DD traveler + 3x3 tarp for a 1.75m person? The price for the setups is the same in my conutry
This seems great at first, but personally I think that, for the price, you can get better setups like the Amok Draumr
👍
How tall are you? Will an over 6 ft person fit?
Noooooooooo! More kit I want!!!!
Looks great. Is their an underblanket?
Nightcat do have an underblanket, haven’t got it or used just know they do have 1
That’s a nice hammock but the only thing is that u don’t have much dry place besides in the hammock
