going to try updating the restaurant rec list as much as i can, but the ones up right now have been favorites for a long time 🌝 if there are places you think i should check out though, let me know!!
I could go on and on but here are two of my food recs for downtown (near wash sq): Four Four South Village → really good gua bao and fried porkchop over rice, took my foodie taiwanese mom there and even she liked it Cha-an Bon Bon → their “mochi mochi” is hojicha soft serve with so many types of mochi and it is fabulous
Inga Lam, why not start your dream restaurant in a smaller place. You can be a big fish in a smaller pond. You are a wonderful person who loves to feed people and people should be fed by you. Start small and your customers will start loving your food. NYC is a place of fantasy. So is L.A. Go somewhere people will love you. You won't have to struggle so much. I think you are ready to figure it out and make some plans in reality. It doesn't matter where you are anymore, you can always produce videos for your audience... but you can also feed people too!
Inga Lam, you can contact Tammy Wong and family at the Rainbow Chinese Restaurant in Minneapolis, MN any time you are ready. They are a wonderful family and will most likely take you seriously and help you. That is my only reference to try (try a few times) and they will help you get your dream going b/c they are Chinese and very beautiful people. You can tell them Ben told you and remind them that Ben worked there in the 90s. Just be honest and make a friend with any of the family. Try and try again. I'm sure one of the sisters will mentor you.
I'm from the Philippines and it's Sunday evening right now and Inga's weekly videos are the best way to cap off my weekend before heading out into the chaos that is Monday.
YOUR HAIR PLS!! I'm OBSESSED with your hair! How do they stay in place so effortlessly, fluffly, airy but at the same time stand strong against EVERYTHING? Like it's tall not only at the beginning of a video, but also at the end, after long hours and occasionally tying up multiple times, it looks exacly the same. And it doesn't look hard and stiff as if you put a ton of hairspray on it. So please. I have to know. How do you get them in this shape (like after a hairwash) and how do you make them stay like this?
Hi Inga been following you for years. I’ve been very inspired by you and just started this channel sharing my passion for food almost 2 months ago. Thanks for your continued sharing. It helps a 53 year old like me so much. ❤ Keep shining girl.
I think it would be super cool if you did a video on how to build a really good charcuterie board. I know there are tons of videos all over UA-cam about it, but I think you have a really cool way of presenting information and you always provide really fun tidbits about what you're making that I think it would be really fun. Also, fancy cheese, wine, and jazz sounds like an amazing night!
the restaurant guide makes me SO happy!! I've been studying in NYC for a year and the places I know on your list are my absolute favorites :0 I'm going to try all of them 🥳🥳
omg when she said I'm dropping by a podcast I literally thought "man, I wish she would be a guest on ABG now that Mel's in NY too" AND there she was :') can't wait for your episode!!
Your videos always hit the spot!! 😍 So soothing, relaxing and gourmet! 😍 A charcuterie board is also my type of girl dinner (if it’s not just a simple ramen on a cold night). ✨✨
I just went to nyc and almost exclusively ate the from the restaurants on your guide… they were so good… THANK YOU INGA🫶 I also loved finding out that superiority burger is so veggie centric!!
I'm visiting NYC next month so this guide couldn't have come at a more perfect time! so excited to check it out! alsooo would love to see a makeup tutorial ✨
I literally stopped watching your video and went to your website, it is awesome. I lived in Manhattan for two years and wanted to go back. The diversity and food there are awesome and now I have you to guide me to the best places to eat! Thank you soooooo much!
Food yummers as always!! Concerningly drooling with how cheesy crisp that burger looks... Can't wait for the restaurant guide in NYC too!... Even though I'm half way across the world from nyc :'0 ps. The child screaming is so timed what the 😭😭😭
Been following your content for a while, and really looking forward to reading through the recommendations for NYC once Notion approves it as I'm heading there at the end of October for 2 weeks.
Food looks delicious, charcuterie looks delicious... and oh my god I'm loving the random Baldur's Gate drop!! 💖 Gotta share who you're romancing, what Act (or even playthrough) you're in 🥰 (Run 2.5, Resist Durge, Astarion here)
Lady Inga Greetings 💫 To be invited into Your place for cuisine, snacks, Lounge Jazz is nothing short of Paradise🦋 Thank You for the advice, laughs, Family vibes...Luv Ya 🛐
@@IngaLam I play a ranger elf with lots of summoning spells (love my bear Ursa) and i'm best friend with Karlach and Gale ! And you, who do you play as ? :)
I don't know why but hearing you playing Baldur's Gate is like coming from left field, totally not something I would have expected from you. Hopefully you're enjoying it but it also begs the question, who are you playing as and who is your favorite companion character?
My hubby loves buttery crackers, garlic summer sausage, cheddar cheese, and pickle slices. Half are dillpickles and half are sweet pickles. He says it's a comfort food for him.
That's a true big Mack burger! Looks delicious! (I edited the burger part of the comment so as not to catch the attention of a certain food corporation) 😂

$10 for a box of crackers??? 🤯 Sounds like a future video: Inga makes fancy crackers at home for less than $3. 🤠

Much better than my daily food, maybe I will try the burgers sometime :)
The burger 😋. Tomato jam would also be yummy, especially when tomatoes are not in season. Charcuterie board is bountiful.
Coming over to share that board with you ❤
Your teapot is soo nice❤
You made me wanted a homemade double burger today but I ended up going for a Hawaiian poke and sushi at the beach. Aloha 🌺🌺🌺

That charcuterie board looks so good. I'm pregnant and the one thing I cannot eat that I really miss is charcuterie and soft/semi-soft cheeses

One can never be too young to start having a dinner of meats, cheese, wine and jazz 🙂
Please show us your fridge and freezer (real candid pics!!!)….this could become a regular series 😉
it would be nice if you can add a little section of recommended Halal shops! Would be a great help for some people :)

@1:59: "is it too much avocado, perhaps?..." Miss, there's never a thing like too much avocado!
...and she's a gamer too! Awesome! Rock on! \m/
Truth. A+ avocado toast is a smashed avocado and "everything but the bagel" seasoning away.
i 😻 asian boss girl theyre podcast are amazing
Go the balmuda. It transcends being just an appliance.
American cheese is the best cheese for a cheeseburger because it melts... without splitting ;)
Wow yummy the burger 😋
