When this watch came out i was 16, and i cannot describe how enamored with it i was then and ever since. What an incredible work of art. I'd love to know what a standard service and cleaning would cost lol
5 figures for sure
consider just how few people in the world can even repair something like this
Well I didnt expect you guys to find the arc of the covenant of watches. This is so holy..amazing piece🤲🏻
How much? Ill do $375 but thats squeezing every pocket
Wow just when i thought the watches werent getting crazier on this channel. Skymoon tourbillon! Nice.
Lol waiting for grandmaster chime review xD
I love the complications and look of this watch, but given the size needed to house everything I can't help but feel it would have been better suited as a pocket watch. It's not as if it's a watch to be worn anyway - the price alone suggests this is one to be added to a collection and occasionally taken out of the safe and admired.
A beautiful museum's quality masterpiece no question about it. These watch should never be weared...❤❤❤
Would have been better off as a pocket watch.
What a watch!
How do you look at the other side and have it on your wrist? Is there some kind of hinges or mechanism that means you can rotate it?
This is my favourite watch
Hola necesito ayuda (helpme) tengo uno igual muy viejo,
I can't decide, one of those watches or a Pagani Huayra?
Huarya!!!
A horological wonderful.
Yea Patek is without a doubt THE best maker on the planet, although Breguet invented tourbillion…
Me personally, I’d rather have a Eisenkiesel Daydate any day of the week. Fluted bezel of course
Genuine question. Whats the point of protecting previous owners when the watch is from 2001? Im pretty sure big brands don’t care if you sell the watch a year or two later as long as you don’t perform a quick flip.
Because not anybody can buy these new. I think you have to be interviewed and then accepted to be given the opportunity.
He's protecting the reference number, not the person.
@@longdong9885 he said in the livestream the other day that this watch has the serial number covered to protect previous owners.
@@ToneyDouglas23 No doubt, but they also do it to prevent fraud, fakes, allocation, numbers produced, and a few others I can't remember.
@@longdong9885 makes sense.
Love VC it’s my favorite overall brand but this watch is exhibit A that Patek is in its own league
Why do you say that? Is this league that you refer to better than or worse than Vacheron Constantin?
No wrist shot? Just cause it would look so outsized?
I am desperate to know how much it would cost to service this wrist-worn retirement account.
Ur not gonna try it on?
Lovely.
If only the dial was tiger striped or leopard print id buy
You got 3m $ in your bank
اخخ بس 😂💔ولله لگيته بحمام الفندق ورجعتها لصاحبها
Impressive watch but the dial & casedesign leave something to be desired. The tiny roman numerals & moonphase indicators look almost very rounded and overpolished, the crosses on the caseflank look uninspired and not very artisanal, same as the central cross pattern on the dial.
I tried this on last month definitely not a watch you can actually wear more like something you stick in the safe
A way too unique watch
@@hathaway.1166 It's probably the same one that I had on is not too many of them floating around
@@hathaway.1166 You can see photos that I took of it at the European watch company blog if you Google it
Nice try, but despite your inelegant application of crude blue masking tape, the serial number of this extraordinary horological masterpiece is clearly visible to anyone possessing the patience to freeze frame and study your video. Next time, perhaps you could discreetly pixilate the magic number (yes, this would require more effort and patience) instead of temporarily disfiguring a stunning beauty such as the 5002. After all, would any respectful gentleman place a splotch of coloured tape across the face of Botticelli's Venus or da Vinci's Mona Lisa?
It looks pretty ugly on the front. The back is nice. Still not as nice as the 5207/5208p
whats with the blue tape on all the watches?
Hi Derek - It is to protect the serial numbers from counterfeiters.
--Team WatchBox
@@the1916companywatchreviews Why do you do it with some watches and not all of them?
@@dariosandoval5140 not all watches cost $1,000,000. Scamming somebody out of that is way worse than someone counterfeiting a 10k Rolex.
Dude I looked it up it's $600,000-$400,000 you have to be out of your mind to pay that for a watch. Even a solid gold Rolex watch is like $30,000
I'm sure it's worth over a million.
@@chriss2122 three million

7 for the gold version

Basically a Saudi prince’s watch
Buddy why did you put the blue tape on the watch for? We don’t care when you reviewed this watch. We know you are busy editing videos
to hide serial numbers to avoid cases of counterfeits
@@stephen9609 or to avoid revealing the provenance including previous owner(s) and where it was retailed, or to avoid false claims of ownership being made.
Tbh looks ugly ,the sound is trash, it's just the back is kinda interesting, idk what y'all are going crazy about, and don't hit me with that "it's very complicated ...." Your phone is more complicated than it so what 🤣
Three million dollars for a fkn watch? Rich people baffle me. You could build a hospital wing for that kind of cash, instead of a dumb ass watch.
One no you couldn’t not enough money two to have this kind of money the amount of taxes paid and charitable contributions would be more in one year then most people would pay or donate in a lifetime..
@@ugaais he is an imbecile. He never donated a cent of his own money to charity, but somehow he wants to do that with other people's money, including yours
🙄😒
So is he ever gona explain the piece of tape or da fuk!?
It's to protect the serial number from counterfeiters
