I am sure expedition will become daily ops for me. I would play it in the beginning, but mostly find it tedious as the novelty wears off. It doesn't seem to be much of a challenge as is.
I decided not to go for legacy weapons or use mine but to try to stay to things that are still obtainable in game. From there the game felt much more fun and balanced. I do feel like sneaking and unyielding makes it much more easier. Personally try going into this with a non sneak commando or PA build and guaranteed things will be more fun and challenging
I started one expedition after hopelessly looking for the bowl of pepper HIDDEN IN THE FRIDGE for 15 minutes....I felt so much pressure as the lead. I had no idea what to do, where to go, what to shoot (gas tanks, poison gas tanks, where??) and felt bad for the other players who joined who had obviously done their own runs several times because they were always waiting for me. Too much pressure for me, man. When it was all said and done, I just felt disappointed and wasted a lot of my time I barely have already thanks to work. I really wanted some of the clothing, but, 10 stamps for that amount of time and they all cost 175 or more stamps? I just can't do it this time, Bethesda. I guess I will deal with the feeling of missing out somehow lol
Thanks AT for the well explained guide. Seems like it could be fun but… don’t know if I’ll have that much time to do that EVERY single day. Sometimes I barely had time to login daily to get basic score for the scoreboard. Probably focus on season 10 first. Good that expedition is a long haul thing and it won’t expire in a couple weeks/month. Add that to the ever growing FO76 queue of TTD. Lol

And more important can joined players finish the expedition before I can finish the optional missions so that I can't get rewarded? And what is it like when I join another players expedition? Sry lots of questions but that seemed to be the most important to me XD
I Thought it was Going to be A new Game world like Appalachia even A Quarter The size of The original 76 map would of been welcome but it sounds like it’s another Form of Daily OPS it’s Just Gotten very Tiring looking at The same places For 4 Years but hey I would rather have something Then nothing so I am not complaining

The screen changes every 25 to 30 seconds like the character is going into invisible mode then he is back ehete you csn dee him then seconds later it is invisible mode again. Can you help please? Tks
I'm bummed out its just a glorified Daily Ops thing.. I am not a big fan of Dailies, and being limited to the amount of stuff I can do in a game. FO76 is just full with this kind of stuff already, why add more?
so i'm wondering what happens if you join a team that is already in the middle of an expedition. i would assume you need to complete your dailies before you can travel to The Pitt. but what if the team completes the expedition before you get there (before your dailies are done)? does it give you rewards for it or do you need to actually be in The Pitt before you get any rewards? obviously if it's a problem, the answer is complete the dailies and then either create a team or wait for a team to pop up, but i'm just wondering what the behavior is.
For me I've completed all three daily quests and talked to all the npcs but I cant start the expedition. It says somewhere along the lines of "Visit the Responders at the Whitespring Refuge to get authorization to launch new Expedition Missions" Any help with this or am i just locked out of those forever?
I don’t know if you still play FO76, I took a break myself, and I’m back with Atlantic City. I only did a few of the Pitt expeditions, and mostly I joined an expedition in progress so I never knew what was happening or where I was going with randoms. Your guide is helpful and I’ll try some AC expeditions soon.
So they removed the requirement for having to do the refuge dailies, and now you can do as many expeditions back to back as you want? Or is there a limit? I just did one of each for the first time, one solo and one with a team, got 9 stamps from one and 10 from the other.
Apparently expeditions, how do you start them has changed because while I did charger battery months and months and months ago, I never used it until just like last week and it did not require me to do all those little quests inside white spring. In fact you I simply selected which expedition I wanted to go on in winter And I did like three or four of them in a row that night I only completed one perfectly, but I did both types and realize there’s several different which types your front objectives. I didn’t have to charge a battery and I got rewards every time I’ve done about seven or eight of them now, that’s several free mods from doing them for rise union power armor, but I did not have to do any of the precursor questing like I’m cooking the gathering all that shit to charge the battery I just selected it from the menu and select a dive the expedition I want to go on and it started
I guess that if I start the expedition and random people join, and then some of them leave mid-expedition, I won't be kicked out, right? It would only happen if the person starting the expedition quits?
Great video :) got a quick question if anyone knows, what time do updates normally happen? wanted to know if I should save doing my daily tasks or if they reset when the update is live?
So does the amount of side objectives completed not affect the xp reward or if it does is the difference how big? 9510xp for a single mission seems huge. Also not having a map is kind of cringe, would be cool if it mapped out the area as you roam through it. Or even better have you map it out yourself in-game.
my friend..... imagine not playing the game when the armor was in the score rewards, I have to buy all pieces with stamps...... 800 each, I just said NO! that is worse than farming gold bulions for the t 65

I always though that fallout 76 was too similar to mobile games, not much to do and daily stuff and now they added some kind of "energy bar" like in mobile games
Expedition with the new Pitt update is just an upgraded Daily OPs with increased rewards. Really underwhelming as I had expected it to be something like with the Brotherhood of Steel expansion...dead update for people that wanted another huge story expansion in Fallout 76....
Good day turtle the content hasn't even dropped yet and the players are revolting, is it really that lacking for the time invested, or are people overreacting?
Here's how to see The Pitt. Imagine if Wastelanders was simply meeting a few NPCs, no questing and just the Gold Bullion grind as the main event. That's The Pitt, but the boring mission takes way longer than snapping a picture of the Foundation generator.
I wish that you could choose to be evil in this game. The developers always force you to side with the good guys. The lack of moral choice is one of the main reasons why 76 is not a good Fallout game. BTW. I'm sure someone will bring up that you can side with the Crater. The Crater gang isn't evil at all. They are just settlers in Raider cosplay.
I like it. Cool map. Scary trog dudes. Looks like castlevania in the fire one. Any idea how the xp works? I got 20000 xp the first couple times. Want to get 20000 xp as much as i can. Started getting less tho... saw u got 8k aomething... idears?
I hope you just explain grind part of dlc cuz im expecting some nice main story quest with plot twist and matter of choices just like steel dawn. If that all in video is what we get on day one then this dlc suck.
It's pretty much just grind. There are NPCs, but it's pretty much one and done with them. They're basically MMO NPCs planted there for utility more than anything else. A little background is all you're getting for story.
Steel Dawn had a plot? Choices? Could've fooled me. From the moment I stepped into Fort Atlas, the game put "me" (a supposed "initiate") smack-dab in between two idiots and constantly asked me to choose between them. Meanwhile, the whole time I'm thinking: "Don't put me in the middle of your shit" and, of course, "where's my neutral option?" I made a point to choose a supposedly different option when Rahmani proposed destroying the transmitter to see how differently the 'story' would play out if the West Coast Brotherhood had been contacted. Guess what? It made no difference whatsoever. She destroyed it anyway. There was nothing different to play out otherwise. Furthermore, it reeked of the Democrat vs. Republican nonsense going on in America right now, merely posing as a choice of visions for the future of the Brotherhood. The only good thing about Steel Dawn was Scribe Valdez, imho. Hers was a well-rounded, well thought-out character, further well-acted by the actress hired to play her. Full stop.
Wow. They couldn't put "The Refuge" anywhere else? They had to ruin Whitesprings? Why am I not surprised? And -- oh, goodie -- more "dailies," as if we haven't already told Ward that if he'd just secure Foundation's supposedly super-critical equipment, he wouldn't be losing a piece of it to a "Raider thief" every damn day. This game had/has such incredible potential and every bit of it has been and is being squandered on boring, tedious, meaningless stuff like this for people to sink their precious life-time into for the sole purpose of making money rather than actually contributing anything meaningful to the world. My disilusionment with Bethesda management's mistreatment and mishandling of the Fallout universe is complete. Have fun "grinding" and "farming" and "rolling" (the dice) everyone! I imagine I'll just be hopping in from time to time from here on out to say hello to my Megasloth neighbor in the Mire, trying hard to remember that this game actually did a much better job than previous Bethesda entries of actually providing a pre- or post-war story (whether good or not) to go along with at least some of the locations we've visited rather than their sole purpose being filled with junk to collect and supposed "enemies" to kill.
I think one should be treated as a Team event and the other as a solo event. Esp the longer one. I think If you want to do solo, you don't have to create a group to do the Expedition. I think by creating the group you are saying you want people to join you. Cause the 2nd one seems long as heck to do as a team. Even when I did it for the first Expedition it seemed like it took forever to do.
I don’t understand am I bugged or something because I started like five in a row the first day I did like two or three Union I mean whatever the first one is and then I did the car ashes to whatever the second one is a couple times I definitely agree. The first one is at me. They’re both easy don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing dangerous and in those expeditions they are horrendously easy, but they’re boring. There’s no loot I mean yes you can go round and loot shit all over the map but when you kill stuff the only thing on it is more ammo and sometimes are on them pack or something mostly just Samo lots of fucking ammo. If there was good loot, you know on them so you could go in and complete one come out loaded down with all kinds of scrap or or whatever then they might be worth grinding, but they’re just not fun in it and again in my case am I bugged or did they change the way it works because I did a bunch of them two nights in a row to get stamps and I I started every one of them myself like four or five the first night in 3OH!3 I think the second night all in a row finished completed one pack started a new one immediately I actually did so many in a row then all my food spoiled again less you find a passel of rat rat rat rats there’s nothing to get no meat no supplies no food
1000 stamps to unlock the auto axe is ridiculous. Completely out me off trying to get the last few remaining achievements now as I need one to kill 100 trogs :( can someone glitch trade me one on Xbox? If possible I can pay in flux, caps and other stuff
is there a way to turn off that expedition icon in the pasue menue i dont care about any of this nonsense honestly i dont need another eyesore in my menue
It sucks when the team leader, aka expedition leader, doesn't give a crap about the side objectives and just follows the main ones and then closes the expedition, sending everyone back with just a few stamps. It also sucks that when you got the daily score challenge to do a mission in the pit - it only counts if you're the leader; if you join someone else's expedition and finish it successfully... bummers, doesn't count. Hopefully they'll fix that, but then again, it may take them months of intensive research.... that's why I had to solo Union Dues late at night, made it perfect, got my 10 stamps, but what do you know... no rare reward. I'm sure I would have noticed it, like I saw it immediately in your video, hey, new plans! The only perfect expedition I did so far was the one I soloed, I guess they need to patch the rare rewards this week. If this is what they've been cooking for the past 2 years, I can say I'm not that impressed, after all the testing I was hoping at least for things to... work properly ?
I don't get why all these kids are so upset. Dailies have been around for a long time. Been doing them in wow inm 2008 ffs. I'd much rather do this for a couple hours than run around in fortnite. At least I get some rewards out of this.
I like solo. Too many times I have started a daily ops team, when there was none, and people quickly join. While in the waiting area some fool that joined your team will take off before everyone is ready and start the op. Once in the op they run around killing and collecting and not staying put on the objective. People like that get kicked. If you want to act like an independent idiot then create your own team. People like you is what ruins the game for the respectful players.
The lore is barely there and that's the truth. I'm excited to have a slightly different experience because at this point I'm basically asking for anything by now..sadly and atleast the 3 new public events still feel kinda nice but they are all in Appalachia so it feels the same. I do really really wish expeditions took us to another map and then years down the road if we got a full on fallout map of every place that got nuked then we'd meet other npcs in those other regions who would take us to other parts of the world for various different reasons and it would not be the same responders but different new factions or npcs. that would be the best way to slowly make new maps to explore buuuut ofc we have to sit here excepting...this thing they thought would be interesting. I mean come on it's the PITT 😔 i played fallout 3 and the dlc when I was 13 and I'm 19 now and Im really saddened to see something that brang me such enjoyment to just be used as a way to basically milk the older fans. I'm hoping that after starfield releases that most of the team there will be moved onto 76 for major support. And then we still have Nuka world and the new boss which is said to be being made by a new team aswell and that's the only thing I can say Im looking 100% forward to without much worrying and the reason why is because the main 76 team isn't going to be the ones who lead that update 🤷😐 cause so far the stuff they've made has been bumpy.
The Pitt is crap. games crashing, party leader crashing, losing entire events at the very end. i'll pass. i'll play with my monkey before i do the pitt again.

Yeah I don’t think I’ll be doing much of it except to get enough stamps for the mods for the auto wax but then again I really don’t do daily apps either except every once in a blue moon
More than I swear any of you have done your entire lives
I am sure expedition will become daily ops for me. I would play it in the beginning, but mostly find it tedious as the novelty wears off. It doesn't seem to be much of a challenge as is.
Put your bloodied/legacy meta build away and you will find a lot more enjoyment from new content. I did it and it's been great fun.
Free plan every week. Stamps seem more like a pity system to get an exact item you want.
Hey Turtle, I took a year off of playing this game, it's great that you are still around!
Lol
I’m so glad they are unlimited now and we have a way to farm uncapped modules
So we have to grind for batteries to get to the Pitt to grind for stamps 🙄
Sorry Bethesda after playing since launch I am tired of the SSDD attitude you have taken with this game
I think this game needs to die already people need to send them a message and just stop playing it boycott it it's old and the most buggy game I've ever played
@@blacksabbath2060 I'd rather it be reworked from the ground up; with "gaming industry" trends (e.g. the casino-like gambling aspects and 'Atomic Shop' nonsense) kicked to the curb and the spirit of the Fallout universe restored to its original glory. Of course, it's probably much, much too late for that, but a girl can dream.
@@lrinfi its not that its to late for that bethesda is just to greedy to turn there cash cow into an actual fun and working game
@@deathtogabi3867 kinda like how rockstar is with GTA5
I never make it back in time it save the NPCs doing solo runs in some of the expeditions, but I don’t have time to play in teams. Getting stamps I’ll need is going to take a long time.
Is it ok to use SSArmor or Chienise stelth armor
yes you can use any build you like
yes you can use any build you like
Thanks Turtle! Does stealth work in Expeditions?
yes
That's awesome. Had checked the comments, intending to ask just this, given Bethesda seems to default to stealth not working in events atm.
What is the limit on the number of stamps you can get per day/week? That is if there is any limit.
no limit
@@AngryTurtle Nice. So one could actually farm this as much as they want to get stamps for the rewards instead of needing to wait a whole week for the reset.
Another great video sir. Thank you for the great information 👍. I will be using it soon.
Mr. Turtle, I have watched many of your recent videos: very helpful! What is your habit to get the scoreboard completed? Do you grind the dailies, or do you just spend the atoms to level them up at this point? I am a new player level~100 and just finished the main quests and most of the sides. Thanks again!
I farm exp
So do you get modules for helping a friend also?
yes
100 expeditions to buy auto axe is just insane, then ontop of that you have to buy mods
so one can join as many expeditions (of others) as possible? to keep earning stamps?
yes
This is kinda underwhelming :/
It's been saturated before it even comes out due to the pts and youtubers. No surprise on release.
@@tsu4883 I played it on day one of the PTS. Blind play through. It was so boring that I was ready to uninstall the PTS before I completed the mission. I completed it just to say that I did it.
@angryturtle Can teammates, who join complete the optional missions for the whole team? Does my progress count for them? And more important can joined players finish the expedition before I can finish the optional missions so that I can't get rewarded? And what is it like when I join another players expedition? Sry lots of questions but that seemed to be the most important to me XD
anyone can complete side objectives only team leader can talk with npc to progress main mission
@@AngryTurtle thank you very much for the quick answer 👍🙂🙂🙂 sounds like a good choice. 🙂
Thank you for making this all very clear. I am excited.
Turtle will a Medics weapon as well as Solar armor help keep the Union fighters alive?
you need flamer for that
hardest part is the markers sometimes dont work on the steel inguts ? ill try different server prehaps?
I'll probably be soloing the first two days to experience the story of each expedition, knowing full well that a lot of people don't care for lore and will be rushing through it.
Same
My nephews character is stuck. I put the character in 2 person and he fades in and out of invisibility type mode. The screen changes every 25 to 30 seconds like the character is going into invisible mode then he is back ehete you csn dee him then seconds later it is invisible mode again. Can you help please? Tks
do you have chameleon armour or other legendary effect granting invisibility?
I'm bummed out its just a glorified Daily Ops thing.. I am not a big fan of Dailies, and being limited to the amount of stuff I can do in a game. FO76 is just full with this kind of stuff already, why add more?
Are Trogs considered "human" enemies by the game?
How long does it take do do an Expedition?
10-15 minutes with experienced team, 30-60 minutes casual all objectives
10-15 minutes with experienced team, 30-60 minutes casual all objectives
How did Beth not make a Stamp Collection wall decoration case for C.A.M.P. D:
so i'm wondering what happens if you join a team that is already in the middle of an expedition. i would assume you need to complete your dailies before you can travel to The Pitt. but what if the team completes the expedition before you get there (before your dailies are done)? does it give you rewards for it or do you need to actually be in The Pitt before you get any rewards? obviously if it's a problem, the answer is complete the dailies and then either create a team or wait for a team to pop up, but i'm just wondering what the behavior is.
You will join their instance I believe. You only need to complete dailies to lead an expedition.
@@philmea4330 interesting. thanks!
For me I've completed all three daily quests and talked to all the npcs but I cant start the expedition. It says somewhere along the lines of "Visit the Responders at the Whitespring Refuge to get authorization to launch new Expedition Missions" Any help with this or am i just locked out of those forever?
it sounds like a bug, you can try reading responders poster to see if it starts the quest if not try the support ticket
Did you already talk to the girl on the helipad above the refuge? That's the last thing I had to do before I could start my first expedition
does friendly fire perk work to help keep the allies alive.
yes
I do wanna see the team aspect of it, hoping I can do a few of these a day with other players
A helpful walkthrough. Cheers 👍
So they removed the requirement for having to do the refuge dailies, and now you can do as many expeditions back to back as you want? Or is there a limit? I just did one of each for the first time, one solo and one with a team, got 9 stamps from one and 10 from the other.
it's unlimited now you can do it until tired
@@AngryTurtle thank you!
I have yet to play Expedition. Is there a time limit like the Daily OPS or can you take your time on the map?
no time limit and progress is saved after each objective
We will he still have to download an update? Do we know when it will be available and how big the update will be?
Can teammates help with the dailies or do I have to do that myself before starting an expedition
you need to do it
Is it me or that vertibird you jump on is massive?
Angry Tortuga I have too many questions about F76 does electrically charge works on pvp mode 🤔 because I believe it doesn't work on pvp
no idea
@@AngryTurtle tbh I pvp just because is the last thing to do as a challenge lol but I don't see electrically charge perk work 🤔

Great video man. Keep up the great work.
If you're the leader, you're golden.
My game constantly crashes in the Pitt or try to join really bugged
Great video :) got a quick question if anyone knows, what time do updates normally happen? wanted to know if I should save doing my daily tasks or if they reset when the update is live?
usually they start maintenance 2 hours before atom shop/ daily weekly challenges reset time
@@AngryTurtle Thank you :) then i can do them before the update :)
Don't forget to collect any rewards
@@AngryTurtle when is the update?

Can you place your survival tent within the Pitt?
no
Are the new plans tradeable?
So does the amount of side objectives completed not affect the xp reward or if it does is the difference how big? 9510xp for a single mission seems huge. Also not having a map is kind of cringe, would be cool if it mapped out the area as you roam through it. Or even better have you map it out yourself in-game.
Looks like daily ops 2.0 except more annoying and with ass rewards. F76 needs somehting like far harbour imo.
What about the other DLCs?
@@matthewflores4183 Nuka World is coming this winter. Hopefully.

My only complaint so far is dealing with another currency. 😓
It's nice how they didn't lock the armor and weapon behind stamps, that would've been painful

Ouch seeing this video and the graphics makes me wanna cry about the 30 fps ps5 comes with in fallout76 😑
I always though that fallout 76 was too similar to mobile games, not much to do and daily stuff and now they added some kind of "energy bar" like in mobile games
thank you
Thanks Turtle. Informative as always! It looks like another grind, but this time I think it might be worth it for all the new skins.
any trophies?
Looks like another tedious grind. Especially the three pre-quests sound really annoying.
They are just settlers in Raider cosplay.
they are actually better than settlers
I see no difference between crater and any other “bad” faction in the other games.
I want the auto axe, but this is too grindy and isn't fun whatsoever
Having to do hundreds of quests to get an autoaxe is ridiculous.
I like it. Cool map. Scary trog dudes. Looks like castlevania in the fire one. Any idea how the xp works? I got 20000 xp the first couple times. Want to get 20000 xp as much as i can. Started getting less tho... saw u got 8k aomething... idears?
xp depends on your xp boost and objectives completed
I hope you just explain grind part of dlc cuz im expecting some nice main story quest with plot twist and matter of choices just like steel dawn. If that all in video is what we get on day one then this dlc suck.
It's pretty much just grind. There are NPCs, but it's pretty much one and done with them. They're basically MMO NPCs planted there for utility more than anything else. A little background is all you're getting for story.
Y friend I played the pts you will be very sad
Steel Dawn had a plot? Choices? Could've fooled me. From the moment I stepped into Fort Atlas, the game put "me" (a supposed "initiate") smack-dab in between two idiots and constantly asked me to choose between them. Meanwhile, the whole time I'm thinking: "Don't put me in the middle of your shit" and, of course, "where's my neutral option?"
I made a point to choose a supposedly different option when Rahmani proposed destroying the transmitter to see how differently the 'story' would play out if the West Coast Brotherhood had been contacted.
Full stop.
@@lrinfi Agreed...
So this whole DLC is to grind daily ops in another location? Back to rocket league.
Wtf is below your health bar that you have 43 of?

is there a way to turn off that expedition icon in the pasue menue i dont care about any of this nonsense honestly i dont need another eyesore in my menue

Yay... More daily ops 🙄
Whyd they have to do my man Bubbles like that.
👍
👍👍👍👍
It was the most boring thing I did in my life, and I only got 13 stamps
The Pitt is crap. games crashing, party leader crashing, losing entire events at the very end. i'll pass. i'll play with my monkey before i do the pitt again.
