Question #1 Doesn’t that dock block the intake fans making it harsh for the steam deck? Question #2 Is that the only controller as I prefer the steam decks built in controller it’s big enough so my hands don’t over shoot the bumpers Question #3 Are the glasses safe to use and do they work quite well with the lowest brightness setting ?
Happy to see you getting sponsored by Viture! I've been using these daily with my Deck for a couple of months now and I've got no complaints. I would even go as far as to recommend you download the XR addon from Decky Loader as it allows you to do some pretty cool stuff with these out of the box, such as a "pretend VR" mode on any FPS game, it's surprisingly fun. The only issue I found is that the Deck keeps trying to turn the glasses off after getting under 35% battery due to internal power saving messing with the USB-C video output, so I had to order the adapter that allows you to use the glasses and charge at the same time.
You should set the dock on the SD screen while in use so the fans can get air. The screen can be turned off too which gives best thermals for docked play
I was soo close to pulling the trigger on the Xreals then these just released. Xreal are bugged with horrible blurry edges and it appears these don’t suffer from this. Awesome it has prescription adjusters as well
While I haven’t tried the xreal ones. (Still trying to get some) I must say. These are the clearest displays I’ve seen in any glasses/headset and I’m really fussy over blur and clarity.
I had both 1st gen Xreal and Viture and returned the viture because they were the only one with blurry edges ... everyone's face shape and sight is different I guess
Great review! I own the Rokid Max and while I enjoy using it, I do experience slight blurry corners at times. Do you find the Viture Pro XR to have a better fix for the blurry edges and do you find it to also maintain a great clear view? Trying to figure out if I should get the Viture Pro XR if I already own the Rokid Max.
Didn't have any blurry edges at all, seriously the clearest glasses i've ever used, so much so I'm still happy to use them on the OLED deck becuase it's just as vibrant and clear, but I can rest the deck on my lap and look straight (really useful sitting up in bed)
"The biggest advantage of the Pro XR glasses over the Viture One is light output. Viture says it raised the perceived brightness from 500 nits to 1,000 nits, which puts the glasses in line with the levels required to adequately view lots of high dynamic range (HDR) content. For comparison, the Rokid Max glasses go up to just 600 nits." Does this mean the Pro XR is recognised as a HDR capable display when connected to a windows PC?
Have you been experiencing any glare while using them? I own the Rokid Max and the only real complaint I have is that there are glare spots when the screen has bright portions.
not from the glasses, if i'm facing bright light (like sun in the window) I can see my body reflected, which is why I mention about the large space underneath but otherwise they are like having a giant OLED TV infront of you, no issues with glare spots
Is it a 65w charger now? The one I have can charge but it the system needs to be off, if it’s on it doesn’t stop the OLed deck from losing battery, didn’t even bother to try the rog ally with it
Wow, that great to know. Looking forward to that comparison video before I jump in. Its quite hard to pick (for me) which of the two vr glasses is the best one suited for any ordinary use case (watching movies, gaming and probably productivity as well)

“You’re not cricking your neck looking down at a device all the time.”
Me, cricking my neck to look down at my phone on the table: Ah, very nice.

Thanks - not sponsored, just given products to review, they are very nice I must say and yeah their the power bank dock also solves that issue :D

Just ordered that controller to match with my LE Steam Deck OLED

As long as the screen is not fixed, it will never feel like VR or AR.
They aren't VR though. They are more like a portable projector you wear.
My SD oled LE needs that controller
Dude same
@@andrewtraphagan8994I’m seeing the controller as an option on its own. In fact I just ordered it as a standalone

Looks like it is covering all the vents at the back?!?
Oh you're right i totally missed that, yes it completely covers the intake vent
Where can you buy that specific controller color?
From the store link in comments.
I really want Xreal 2 pro, but so expensive
Do they have a uk site ? Or can they be shipped to the uk 🇬🇧
They can be shipped to Uk from Amazon or direct.
Where to buy the soft glasses cover
etsy
do you have to have the mobile dock for steam deck?
No. Just if you want longer battery or to have 2 pairs of glasses.
What about motion sickness?
they are supposed to be anti motion sickness, i found them less disorientating than the quest 2, but I don't have an issue generally
The battery pack was meant for the switch, it doesn’t charge well on the deck
This is a their new one and it charges just fine ;)

500 at least.....😅
$600 USD on the Viture website
Can you compare this virtue xr pro glasses vs xreal glasses?
I've asked Xreal, waiting for a response :)
Wow, that great to know. Looking forward to that comparison video before I jump in.
